We had just arrived in Key West and took a walk down Duval Street. We were in need of a beverage, and this was the first place we came across. Food: I got a hot chai latte. It was just okay, maybe a bit on the weak side. My wife got a cup of the dark roast, and that was good. She even bought a bag of beans to take home. They also had some bakery items available, including muffins, but we didn't try any. Service: The staff member was friendly and helpful. They even let us sample the dark roast before we decided to buy some. Atmosphere: The place is well laid out and spacious. It has a distinct military and veteran theme, including a video showing scenes from a military operation. There was plenty of military memorabilia to look at, and T-shirts and other apparel were well stocked throughout the shop. My fiance is a fan of Black Rifle Coffee and when we saw this when we got to Key West we had to visit. So when we finally got to Black Rifle, we knew we needed something cold and icy. The humidity in key west is no joke! I got the Liberty bell and my fiance got a blended vanilla drink. Our order was made fairly quickly and tasted great! I walked in and saw the reason. It's basically a shrine to guns and MAGA. Tee shirts with AR-15 logos. Coffee mugs resembling grenades. AR-15 Christmas ornaments - seriously what's wrong with you people? As I spotted the "Fk Your Feelings" (spelled out; I abbreviated to pass Yelp standards) bumper sticker I'd had enough. Keep your politics to yourself and out of my coffee. Fk your business and fk your coffee. No problem. A quick Google search brought me to Cuban Coffee Queen, where there's no overt politics, the decor is bright and colorful not all black, the people are of diverse races and persuasions, and the vibe is happy. read more

This was the first I'd seen a store front with a coffee and snack bar inside and clothing and gift shop inside as well. They have some neat gear and partner with another brand that shared the store space. So cool that there is a BRCC location in Key West! My fiancé and I happened to be walking by during its grand opening and we were able to try some of their drinks and buy coffee beans and merch. PLENTY of options. Staff is super nice and incredibly helpful. The store front is much larger than expected from the outside. Such great coffee! When I was searching for coffee places in Key West, this shop popped up on my radar. I didn't expect how close it was to where I stayed but I was a surprise to find out it was a couple blocks down the road near Duval Street. Black Rifle Coffee is a coffee-founded group that supports veterans, law enforcement, and first responders. Their theme surrounds their mission and have uniquely crafted drinks dedicated to first responders who need that caffeine boost. They have an extensive menu that includes breakfast pastries as well. I had their Carmel cold brew and I was so surprised how good it was. It made my top 10 list of best cold brew coffees to grab from. Just a quick note I believe that the beans were on the lighter end, but I'm sure if you wanted a darker roast they can help assist you. The service was great and fast! I'm not sure if the dog that was rooming was the owner's. However, he's very adorable. If you're lucky enough you might see him around! There's a store attached to the coffee shop so if you want to buy some souvenirs or black rifled theme merch, they have a huge selection to choose from. read more

Manager Derek was extremely rude and degrading to female barista in front of paying customers. Turned around later and the manager was vaping in the coffee shop. Coffee was ok, but I prefer the local Cuban Coffee Places instead of a chain. The breakfast sandwich I got was not good at all. The bread was soggy and the eggs rubbery. I doubt this was freshly prepared. They seem more into selling pro 2nd amendment clothing and "F" your sensitivity tee shirts than focusing on quality food. I know many people will give them 5 stars because they're Veteran owned and for political reasons, but my review is based on the food and coffee. Both pretty average. read more

This was such a neat shop. It's veteran owned, they sell the "nine line" clothing brand.(if you have not seen it, it is pretty cool). We were helped by Laya Today and she got us into a few pounds of some pretty delicious coffee from The "Black Rifle Company" and it really did the trick to get us all the way home after a long day of having a great time in Key West.
