I'm not sure if they bake these in house, but whoever bakes them deserves an award. These were some fantastic pastries. Their bagels are a standout. Crispy on the outside and really soft on on the inside. The Jalapeño cheddar bagel was amazing. I also loved their Pesto tomato danish, the orange cardamom muffin, and jalapeño cheddar scone. The scones were not dry at all and had such a good texture and flavor. Thump Coffee is great!

Pretty solid bet if you need some coffee for the road, or because you have terrible hotel coffee.

During each visit, we ordered coffee and at least two items to try a little bit of everyone. I loved that they were offering samples on both days that we went - one day was the Oregon roll and the other was their specialty bread pudding. I was sold on the Oregon Roll! This is their speciality, rolls up marionberry jam inside a croissant with a hazelnut butter glaze. Other items we ordered included the pistachio croissant, peanut butter brownie, Brie and fig jam baguette, jalepeno cheddar scone, and seasonal bread pudding. Everything was a chef's kiss! I went for the next best thing I could find which was called the banana boat, and came top with espresso whipped cream. This thing was friggin bomb, I walked 45 minutes across Bend to get here and then probably drink that thing in 10 minutes before I ever made it back to my room. You really can't beat the ambience in downtown Bend, very pretty in a very cool place to walk around in. The outside seating area at this coffee shop blew my mind. You're on a grassy hill overlooking the river and on the other side of the river there's deer walking by.... Gonna say I might need to move here.
