I had a "Power Duo" facial scheduled for 6:30 PM yesterday (May 14, 2026). Due to traffic and parking, I walked in at 6:34 PM and was immediately told my appointment had already been canceled because it was "time to close." I was told the treatment would take too long to complete in time for her to close, despite the fact that I've had this exact facial before and know it doesn't take that long at all; after all, I was within 5 minutes of my scheduled appointment. This also came after they previously failed to schedule one of my appointments correctly, meaning I paid for two months of membership fees without receiving services. Not a huge deal, but these are pricey services to pay for without a great return, and with the change in service, I decided cancelling made the most sense. When I asked to cancel my membership, the woman at the front desk pretended to cancel it on the computer and told me I was good to go. I asked if she minded providing some sort of confirmation receipt of the account being closed, which she said she couldn't do. She then told me that she hadn't actually canceled it and that she'd do it after she closed. Today I learned that my membership had not actually been canceled despite being led to believe it was being handled. I also previously left this location a 5-star review during their opening period, when customers were being offered complimentary products for leaving reviews. Unfortunately, my experience since then has been very different. For a company charging these prices for skincare services, this felt incredibly dismissive and unprofessional. Spas should make clients feel cared for, not rushed out the door over being four minutes late.
