    Cute decor
    Najma R.

My husband and I stopped here for a quick coffee before exploring the city. We only got a black drip coffee but they had a lot to choose from besides coffee in both food and drink (hot AND cold). The man behind the counter was very friendly and the decor is CUTE. It is pretty small inside but there are a few tables to sit and enjoy. There's also a single table and 2 chairs right out front, which we used while waiting for the coffee to cool down a bit so we could take off walking towards Jackson Heights. I would definitely come back here to try something else a bit more "fancy" if we are ever in the area.

    Mocha Iced Coffee

I've come here a few times now to support my local coffee shop! My usual is a caramel iced coffee and it's always sweet and delicious. My partner has bought the macchiato and said it was super good too! I've only had one pastry from here and it was yummy too. The mango smoothie is also sweet and tasty. Haven't tried the boba yet. Don't come here if you're pressed for time; it's usually one or two employees and it will take some time! It's not the end of the world, not every small business is going to get your order out in seconds. The wait is worth it in my opinion and I wish this business the best. The woman working there is always so sweet and remembers her customers. Give the place a try!

Light and refreshing fruit teas are here to stay! The honey osmanthus is like nothing I've ever had at other boba tea shops (in a good way) and stood out the most. I would totally get it again, except it is a little on the pricy end so maybe not too often. The shop itself is on a side street and quite lovely inside with lots of seating and huge windows. It was a huge reprieve to be in here away from the snow storms this year and it's a cute place to hang out while sipping on some yummy drinks.

There is a poster for $100 gift cards with a $15 bonus, think you might get an even bigger bonus if you pay with cash. The food: Honey Osmanthus Oolong Tea- The difference in price between the sizes are very minimal so just get the large. I get the large with zero sugar reg ice and this is the quintessential spring drink, it's not too sweet, it has a nice soothing floral flavor, it's not really a fancy drink but something I can picture drinking on a nice hot day. Mango Coconut Sago- I am old enough to remember this being a dessert in Flushing dessert shops but they offer it here in drink form and it works. I love that it is not over the top sweet and I love the overall flavor of this drink, the crushed ice makes for a nice refreshing drink.

It's hard to say no here, because their bubbles are so good!…read more As one of many bubble/boba (波霸奶茶) milk tea chains that have emigrated stateside from Taiwan (original birthplace of boba), Xing Fu Tang hails from has 5 locations in the New York boroughs area, 4 in Midtown and 1 in Flushing. Their signature fresh boba is what makes their bubble tea stand out from the rest--the "bubbles" are made from cassava starch otherwise known as tapioca pearls or balls--soaked then cooked and sweetened in a brown sugar syrup. Here they have a whole wok full of these, and they're super soft, incredibly chewy and bouncy, on the sweeter side compared to some other chains, but not too cloyingly so. Their menu consists of a number of a bubble tea and coffee drinks, mostly with milk though some without, you have an option of regular milk, lactaid milk (+$0.50) or oatmilk (+$1.00). Two sizes regular or large (+$2.00) and add-ins for +$0.50 more of the following: Brown Sugar Boba Strawberry Boba Taro Boba Honey Jelly Herbal Jelly Milk Foam Matcha Shot (+$1.00) I got their regular brown sugar boba and it was a treat! Like I mentioned above, the bubbles are sooo good! Prices are on the higher side $7.99 for a regular size, it made me really miss the days of $3.75 regular-sized drinks! After ordering it took about 7-8 minutes to be ready considering the store was really busy. Note: the brown sugar boba milk tea is where they line the cup with brown sugar syrup in addition to adding boba. Technically their standard boba milk tea is without the additional sugar syrup but since the boba are already cooked in brown sugar, there's no true option of getting unflavored boba without brown sugar. Like most boba stores in NYC, the shop isn't very big, just enough space for a small line to form for ordering and then waiting to pick up drinks. All customers are taking these to go, there's no room or seats to linger.

It leans more dessert than drink, with a really smooth mango flavor, creamy coconut, and those small sago pearls that give it a great texture without feeling too heavy. That said, it is hard to go wrong here. Everything I have tried has been well-balanced and not overly sweet, which keeps me coming back. Even with so many bubble tea spots nearby, this is one I consistently pick without overthinking it.

Everything I've had so far has been delicious, not too sweet, a generous portion, & actually never too long of a wait. Probably the longest was 15 minutes. All the teas in the area are $7.50 - 9 & very Jasmine green tea-focused, but I'm happy with HeyTea (M-lly Tea & Tea Sch-lar were fine. Maybe HeyTea markets their drinks better?) HeyTea drinks have good flavor, quality ingredients, and well-crafted & executed layers. Now I understand why they're so popular & glad I didn't come sooner because my habit would have been even worse. I've had these (less sweet, less ice): (all have a green tea base) - Jasmine Cloud King (the OG) - Jasmine Matcha Cloud King - Crisp Grape Boom (a bit slushy, bits of real red grape) - Mango Coconut Sago (perfect dessert, a traditional Cantonese soup dessert) Like the tiny sago boba instead of the regular size. Coconut square jellies too. No caffeine version available. - Blue Coconut Matcha Cloud Still have to try a Matcha one. The shop is a good size with a lot of waiting room. 1 table & a high counter at the front window. I've seen a small group of professionals either de-briefing or meeting over tea. But the space isn't really conducive for long-term use or work. The staff seem pretty relaxed, most are bilingual, & they seem like seasoned baristas. Proud of what they make. One suggestion /recommendation would be to move the TV screen with the order numbers to a more visible spot. It's currently against the right side wall with an overhang slightly blocking it. Maybe this angle disperses the crowd though?

The grass jelly was the second worst I have ever tasted from any bubble tea business I have ventured in my New York City foodie travels. The grass jelly was disappointedly medium and large chunky hard knotted heaped lumps. The grass jelly tasted like Greek yogurt hard chunky heaped lumps. The grass jelly topping is utter extortionate price $1.00. The 30% sugar level was a good consistently but not entirely sweet. Nevertheless, my drink contained a lot of ice as requested and served Arctic extreme cold to heed the hope within my mind. The peach was rather large chunk pieces of fresh fruit embedded. This drink was average. I requested medium size but it is truly large size especially the price $8.50. Yi Fang Taiwan Fruit Tea, like most bubble tea businesses intentionally, does not offer small sizes. Customer service is average attentive. There are two indoor benches for brief resting - no seat hibernation. Takeout menus are available for grabs.
