I stopped by when in the area. I was surprised to see qawah valley on Google Maps so I bee lined over. Inside is beautiful the decors feels open and clean. The Art is beautiful. Service was kind and patient with my questions. They have a punch card incentive available if you feel you'll come often enough. Another day I'll try their hot mofawar to give a better authentic review but it was hot. The coffee was delicious. I love the blend of spices. I prefer the honeycomb from other places but it was good. I would definitely come back and try other items. They have what seems like a summer seasonal drink list that looks yummy. The dessert is real nice tres Leche is 7/10. It's not all the way sweet but not all the way bland it's just right where anyone can eat it. The cheesecake is really good 8/10. It's not heavy on sweet side but it's really healthy in a good way. Iced Carmel macchiato was cool 7/10. I had better Service coming in was cool. After we ordered it took 25 mins to get the this. It really wasn't busy either. So that's something they can work on. Ambiance is nice very clean and spacious. Great lighting floors clean and tables. We were really excited to try this new Qahwah branch in Jackson Heights, especially since I've enjoyed the other locations in Manhattan and Astoria. Unfortunately, our experience here was quite disappointing. The ambiance is nice, but the service left much to be desired. Our waiter was rude right from the start. We noticed that everyone else who ordered coffee received a mug, while we were offered only a small paper cup. When we asked for a glass or mug, our request was dismissed, even though we explained it was too hot to hold the paper cup. To make matters worse, the waiter then took a used glass from another table, rinsed it off without drying it, and brought it to us. Finally opened not long ago, and I have been there a couple of times, so feel that I can properly give it a fair assessment. The first thing everyone notice when walking in would be the beautiful decor. I don't often give out 9 scores for anything, but I think this is one of the prettiest cafes I have been in that's not over the top. Just a nice simple design with an appealing color scheme that calms my soul. Honestly, this is my number one reason for coming back. As for the drinks and food, it's been solid, but not amazing as I had hoped. The Adeni Chai was good, but a bit sweet for me. On the opposite spectrum, their Mofawar was quite bitter. I have also tried a pistachio cake that was quite yummy. The pistachio pastry I ordered was also solid, but the server said he didn't know the filling. I asked why, he said they change from time to time. That's not okay. They should know and avoid possible people with allergies from being seriously hurt. Other than the remark above, service was average. Not one server had a smile on their face. The prices for everything is also slightly higher than most cafes nearby. I would say you are truly paying for the ambiance. Let's just hope they improve on other aspects of their establishment. read more

Lovely new addition to the neighborhood. I'm a sucker for adeni chai as it tastes similar to hong Kong style milk tea. Atmosphere inside is chill and cozy, and the right amount of seating spaced out to catchup with friends or just to sit and enjoy the drinks. They've got a great selection of sweet treats that seem to rotate. Staff are quick and friendly. Highly recommend if in the area! read more

I was honestly surprised to see that Qahwah Valley made a second location in Jackson Heights of all places but it's good to expect the unexpected haha. Similar to their first location, the interior is absolutely gorgeous & even more spacious in their Manhattan location. I've tried a couple of things including their popular adeni chai (absolutely amazing) & the Biscoff tres leches (also great). The employees there are very kind & patient every time I've visited. Ate here by myself for the first time during my spring break from work. I had brought and ate the Dubai chocolate and drank blueberry tea that it had tasted really good and super sweet. The service there was also attentive and quite good and efficient that it took awhile to be served. Finally, I would definitely eat and come back again next time. read more

The place is big abd beautiful. It is a good working and chill environment. The desserts were really good abd high quality. The semolina cake with cream in it had a nice bite to it and wasn't too sweet. The cream in the middle was nice and cold. This dessert needs to be eaten cold. When the cream starts melting it's still nice but the rose flavor becomes a bit overpowering. It's a good desert. The baklava was crunchy and packed with sugar coated nuts. It was nice. We also enjoyed the tea. Service was fine. There just needs to be some tweaking in how questions at answered and a friendlier way of moving. Woot woot! A Yemeni coffee house in Jackson Heights! No longer having to trek to Steinway for some adeni chai. This place recently opened up and it looks very spacious inside. Great place to get some work done while enjoying the café drinks (but I beg you study/work folks, don't just order a drink and just sit there for hours; have some etiquette!) . I only came here once so far and ordered their adeni chai. The pricing was fairly similar to other places, but think it's cheaper than Qahwah House (another famous Yemeni cafe chain). I still added a few more sugars to mine because I like it sweet. The inside is so gorgeous and is definitely an Insta worthy place. Will come back again to try their desserts and the pistachio latte! read more

Ambience: Huge place with plenty of seats, very opulently decorated. Food: Got the Adeni chai which was a good balance of bitter and sweet, more on the bitter side but I liked that. Honey comb was my favorite of the pastries, it was so lightly crisp and the flavor was subtle and perfect. Dubai cheesecake was pretty good as well, one of the better Dubai-flavored food items I've had anywhere. Service: They were very obviously understaffed. We had a couple of mishaps. 1) We ordered a Dubai cake and got a Dubai cheesecake instead. We didn't bother getting the correct item because the staff was swamped and the cheesecake was good regardless. 2) Our buzzer rang twice by staff by mistake, so we went back and forth a couple of times to the front. 3) The bins were overflowing. This place has potential to be a great JH staple, but it needs to be supported by more staff members. read more

The first time I went there, a couple months ago, there was just one guy doing everything and our simple order took forever to get, like 20 minutes at least. We got a coffee and two pastries. It was a terrible reflection of the management. The pastry (a baklava type of thing) was as good though. Today we went again and got a teapot of tea and a tres leches pastry. The tea was okay at best, the cake was the worst tres leches cake I have ever had, they should not call it that, it was horrible. These two disappointing items cost me 25 damned dollars. Place looks nice and all but the staff seemed very confused. The workers were all Gen Z men. They had limited knowledge on how to make drinks. I asked for an iced macchiato, and they stared at me in confusion. I ended up having to order something else, and picked the cookies and crème Frappuccino. The Frappuccino was watery and flavorless. Had pastries and coffee here, which were okay. The chocolate croissants were delicious and coffee was good. Appreciated the effort in having nice decor, but the strong fluorescent lights that wouldn't stop flickering were distracting and headache-inducing. They either don't have heating or very weak heating, and on a cold winter day the place was frigid and our hot coffees got cold really quickly. It wasn't comfortable enough to take our jackets/scarves off. Our main criticism is the service. At 8:30 AM on a weekday with the place practically empty, we waited 25 minutes for 2 coffees and 2 croissants. While I noticed the manager was very friendly and clearly cared about customer service as she interacted with other customers, the young staff member who we interacted with, named Fatima, was very unfriendly and had resting "I don't care" face. When we asked whether they had the pistachio chocolate croissants, her response to us was "I don't know, do you see it anywhere on the display shelves?". It's a new location and they're clearly still ironing out the kinks, but that type of service, together with all its other shortcomings, is enough for us never to come back. read more
