    Coconut matcha
    Yvonne M.

Never noticed this was a coffee shop, it's a hidden gem! Stopped in and tried the coconut matcha, so refreshing for a hot day. I liked that it's a welcoming place, great place to work and dog friendly, staff were very friendly & wonderful attentive service! I stopped in again for a matcha latte and was great, looking forward to trying the other beverages and food items!

I love this place, it is absolutely lovely. I work from home and am always looking for somewhere I can sit and work for an hour or so. There are lots of tables to choose from and even when busy I can always find somewhere to sit. The staff is very friendly, music is always great, and feels safe. They also have a bathroom which is rare for NYC cafes! I also like to stop here before walking Astoria park! It is a win win

I love coffee cloud - delicious coffee and wonderful breakfast choices - including the CC Avocado Toast with an added egg I come here at least a couple times a week - and either get a cold brew (if I want something strong), hot coffee, or a decaf latte (if it's in the afternoon). The ambiance is always warm and inviting, cozy while being airy at the same time. I also get their delicious beans to grind / brew at home - works well in a French press and homemade cold brew. As an added bonus, they have an automatic points program that is tied to your credit card, so I'll get a pleasant surprise with a free or discounted coffee. This is a neighborhood staple, the staff is super friendly and great at latte art (especially Mafer), and I always feel very welcome here. There is a variety of seating, including bar and bench seating. Highly recommended!

Spacious and airy cafe with more than just baked good options. Great for a place to catch-up with friends or solo walk in for self contemplation. Plenty of tables for a casual sit-in. I had a croissant, which was on the dry flaky side but the chicken sandwich I had was decent. It was filling and checked off the boxes for a tasty lunch, chased by an iced latte to go.

The staff is so nice, and it's so pretty inside!! The vegan carrot cake was delicious and so is my mocha. And my son loved mamas cake! Thank you so much!!!

Love Coffee Cloud! First and foremost their pastries are bomb! If they still have the spanikopita (spinach pie) available when you stop in definitely get it because they run out! I've actually never gotten coffee here because it's usually an afternoon stop for me but their matcha is great. During Halloween they had a Halloween ghost matcha, very cute. But all year round it's great. Service is usually quick but it gets busy.

    Cold Brew Signature

Stopped by here a few times this past week as I was feeling lazy about making breakfast/coffee. All three times I got the cold brew which was great. This last time I tried the protein bites which were perfect - I got chocolate but I believe they were available in strawberry as well. The service was quick and the environment was super chill - would be a great place to work for a few hours for a change of scenery.

the ambiance feels so cozy, lots of people come here to just decompress from everyday struggles, I like how it feels like a little getaway close to home. The food and drinks are so good! You can tell they put so much love into their concoctions! And service is always amazing. Please tip them, they works so hard and truly deserve it, any little bit helps. Coming from a service worker myself. anyways hope yall come down and support this small business. They're all amazing people!

Stopped in for a blt on this trip and the staff was so kind. There is a very festive vibe inside and I wish I had the capacity for coffee because I love it there!

I would recommend this cafe. It's got chill vibes and music. The staff is very friendly. The drinks were refreshing and strong. We got the iced hibiscus tea ($3.50) and the freddo espresso ($3.75). The avocado toast ($9.50) was a good size and topped with feta, olives, and tomatoes. The sourdough toast was soft and warm.

Very cute shop but the coffee was sour I ordered an iced coffee with Carmel syrup and it tasted so sour. I told the server and suggested adding more syrup. I added more and it was still sour. Lol I have never had sour coffee. They are busy lots of customers so I guess others may like the coffee but I didn't enjoy mine

They have a table to pickup preorders so you don't have to wait in the main line. I ordered a dozen for $39. You can select your assortment. Here's my review in order from the best to the least desirable, according to our group. Vanilla custard- the filling was thick and speckled with vanilla beans. It wasn't too sweet. This was the best according to our group. Strawberry filled- this is most traditional and Breads Bakery does a nice job. The jam is homemade. Pistachio- this doughnut was filled with smooth pistachio cream and was topped with a few pieces of pistachio. Not traditional, but they did a good job. Chocolate- the filling tasted like a semisweet or bittersweet cream/custard. Like the others, it was smooth. The vanilla was more popular among our group and I personally didn't love this doughnut. Mango- this was the one that those in my group felt missed the mark. It wasn't cloyingly sweet, so that was good, but the filling didn't do anything for us either. If you're looking for a mango dessert the one at Lysée is a real winner.

When I moved to the UES, I was worried finding a new local roaster. I've had bad experiences where the beans are too oily or something is off that messes with my usually grind size/extraction time. No issues with Oslo's beans. 2. They actually know how to make a proper americano. Every coffee shop takes a standard cup, puts in the espresso shot, and then fills hot water to the brim of the cup. This destroys the flavor of the espresso. You end up with hot water that tastes slightly like coffee. Oslo chooses quality over quantity. They don't fill the water up to the brim, so you have a cup with 2/3 of liquid; however, this is a proper americano. You can taste the difference. At other shops, I just get drip coffee because they don't know what they're doing. Oslo knows what they're doing. That's why I come here.

We were a little late for our reservation, and they gave our table away, which was quite annoying. However, the service, hospitality, and food more than made up for it. Someone came over to apologize for the mix up and offered us complimentary white wine while we waited for another table to open up. The wine was delicious! When we were finally seated, we started with some drinks. I got the Speranza, and it was light, fresh, and delicious! We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary bread basket brought to the table, as it's a rarity in nyc these days. We split a burrata amongst the table. Loved the addition of figs. I ordered the rigatoni all'aragosta for my dish, which was beautifully presented and tasted even better than it looked. There was a decent portion of lobster in the dish, and I couldn't even finish all of it, I was so full. One of the best pasta dishes I've had in a while. My friends ordered the bolognese and the fettuccine alla nerano, and they enjoyed their dishes as well! We skipped dessert this time, but I would definitely be back for it. I also want to try the paccheri next time, as well as their coffee shop in the mornings! Overall, a well executed restaurant with great ambience (would be great for a date night with the dim lighting and ability to hear each other speak). The pasta was good. Reasonable amount of pasta but we would have liked some more chunks of lobster for the price. I thought the sauce was only ok but my girlfriend liked it. The guazzetto di Pesci was only fair. The sauce was lacking flavor. Also a very small bowl of broth with maybe 3 small shrimp and muscles, a few small chunks of fish. and two sad, tiny pieces of bread on the side. Since we were still quite hungry after the meal, we ordered the lotus chocolate caramel dessert. This was the only dish we really liked. kinda hard to mess up gelato though. It came with a hard outer candy shell and a very small cookie center that was sweet and delicious. Overall, an average meal at best that we both felt was lacking in taste and size. Won't return.
