Pros: the pictures online do not do this place justice. Wow wow wow. We've had a wonderful time…read more The rooms are very soundproof. When I step into the hall, I can hear a baby crying. But when I'm in my room, I can't. The Wi-Fi is very fast. There's so much thought in detail that goes into everything. We left our bags with the valet in the front and they tagged every single item so they wouldn't get lost. And the tags are so well-made and so cute. In the room, there's more free luggage tags if you want them. There's chocolate in the room that were made on site. They have these adorable reusable water bottles. The scents to the toiletry products in the bathrooms were very pleasing. Everywhere we went people knew our name. Last night we ordered room service and I got the leek soup. I loved it. Cons: the price! On top of that, they add a service charge to nearly everything. We were feeling too tired and we canceled our restaurant reservations. Headroom service instead, and my husband did not like his burger. It was undercooked and underseasoned.

I had called two additional times regarding tennis and climbing and never received any follow up from either part. It was overall a great stay and I wish I would've had more time, but I'm glad to have experienced everything. From the moment you arrive on property the staff is very welcoming, attentive and polite. Check in was smooth and the we had a bellman show us to our room, giving facts about the property along the way. We went to the pool, which although it was a bit overcast by the time we got there it was a good temperature. I was a bit surprised by how dirty it was. The view though from the infinity pool/ hot tub was beautiful. We checked out the gym/ lap pool and hot tub over there. The gym is a good size and not too crowded for a Monday morning. They have a nice locker room and other amenities. The lap pool is great too! Turn down service was good, but I almost expected more- pillows were put away but it didn't seem like it was a thorough job - coming from a five star perspective. Also our shades didn't close entirely so the room had quite a bit of light still coming in which we couldn't seem to have the perfectly dark room. Truly a magical place to be, so much to do and see and I would come back for a longer time to enjoy the property nice but it's truly gorgeous just being there.

Our patio had no screen door and we asked if we could have one installed. We were told that they didn't have one. We also had no cushions on our patio furniture. So instead of sitting on hard metal frames we grabbed our pillows from our bed to sit on. Kind of tacky for what we paid for the place. Besides our poorly prepared room the hot springs were nice. I will say that the front desk comped us 10% off of our bill.

I called down to the front desk, and the person there was obviously unsettled by that. She offered to tell housekeeping, but never offered an apology. The next day we left out the sign on the room door asking for "stay over service". We arrived back to find the room had not been refreshed. I called down and the person once again offered to tell housekeeping. I'm sorry, but if you call yourself a "resort" and charge nearly $300 per night, you darn well better provide exceptional service! Spend your dollars elsewhere and enjoy the hot springs at another location. We'll be checking out in the morning, and never check back in again! Can I rate zero stars?!?

The food at the snack bar and the waterpark was great however it did take a long time to prepare, and the ice cream shop was delectable! We went on a non-busy day so pricing was very reasonable too, but I understand it does get pricey! I wouldn't have been that happy if we paid what some of these folks actually pay. Wasn't a fan of the $20 parking fee however as with most regional attraction hotels, that's just a standard. Great time!

Our first visit to Great Wolf Lodge will definitely be our last. To be fair, the resort looks great…read moreand most of the staff are perfectly nice. However, the constant upcharging ruins the vacation vibe. You are nickel-and-dimed for absolutely everything, from overpriced meals to a steep $20 nightly parking fee. The worst part is their bizarre, locked soda fountain system. You have to scan your cup, which triggers a strict 20-second countdown to pour a limited number of ounces--with zero free refills. Even local amusement parks handle drink tracking more gracefully with annual cup designs. The stingy system feels completely out of touch with a premium family resort. Our stay on the 6th floor was highly uncomfortable due to excessive nighttime temperatures. Although maintenance attended to our room, the issue was barely resolved, and the room remained far too hot.During the service call, we overheard multiple radio dispatches indicating this was a building-wide issue rather than an isolated incident. An employee requested a central adjustment for either the floor or the entire lodge, but the technician confirmed that no such system control exists.Management needs to address these systemic HVAC limitations immediately. Additionally, elevator wait times were consistently excessive throughout our stay.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cheyenne Mountain Resort and would definitely stay here again…read more The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The king bed was one of the most comfortable hotel beds I've slept in, and we loved having a balcony overlooking the lake, golf course, and mountains. The room had plenty of storage, a nice workspace, and a large jetted soaking tub. The resort itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and pet friendly, which was a huge plus since we travel with our dog. One thing to know before you arrive: the guest rooms are not located in the main lobby building. We didn't realize this and brought all of our luggage inside to check in before noticing the sign. Fortunately, our building was right next door, and the employee who checked us in kindly offered to help carry our luggage since there are no elevators. That level of customer service was much appreciated. A couple of things kept this from being a 5-star stay. The shower is inside the oversized soaking tub, so you have to climb in and out every time you shower. It wasn't the most practical setup, especially for anyone with mobility concerns. The air conditioner was also fairly loud when it kicked on, although it kept the room nice and cool. There was plenty of convenient parking near our building, but I was disappointed that self-parking is an additional charge. Overall, this is a beautiful resort with comfortable rooms, stunning views, and friendly staff. If you don't mind the extra parking fee and the tub/shower setup, it's a great place to stay while visiting Colorado Springs.

My family of 3 just stayed at Cheyenne Mountain Resort this past weekend. First off, I thought its…read morequite insane that they charge $30 for overnight parking/night. Secondly, the check in process was not the best. We arrived at 3:15pm and asked if our room was ready by any chance. They said no it's not ready but they got our number so that they could text us when it was ready. I don't think they will let you check in early even if its 45 minutes early even if the room is ready. Not only that, we stayed at Cripple Creek and there are no elevators. We had no idea there were no elevators. The front desk clearly saw that we had a stroller and a baby and they did not ask if we needed help with our luggage. My husband lugged up all our stuff up 3 flights of stairs to get to our room. I called Front desk to ask if there's any rooms in the main building (apparently, they have an elevator there) and they flat out told us that they were completely booked and were of no help. The room itself was fine, it was not worth the $$ paid. They really need to make renovations to this hotel for the price they're charging per night. It's not a "resort" by any means and definitely not worth the resort fee. The drinks at Elevations bar were not bad, but heavily overpriced. I'm sure the breakfast buffet was also overpriced for what you get. Overall, I would not stay here again.
