Everyone I spoke to was really nice, and I was able to get my flute serviced quickly. The instrument repair person is there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They did a pretty good job, but definitely didn't polish my flute, which I was kind of disappointed about, especially since I asked it to be thoroughly cleaned (this was also indicated on my service ticket they typed up). I was able to polish it myself after I got it back with a silver polishing cloth that I had to purchase. They have a huge variety of instruments, accessories, and books! It does seem to be more catered to guitars/percussion, but they still had a decent selection for woodwinds and brass. They also have tons of teachers that do private lessons. I will definitely be returning if I need anymore repairs done, as they did a nice job with those!

We witnessed a man on their team publicly berating a parent just for following up on cancelled lessons (the school cancelled - not the mom). He screamed at her and hurled racist slurs! The words that were said made no sense, ignored their own errors and failings as a school, and focused only on bogus assumptions about the mom (who was as polite as can be despite the onslaught of hate). He made it clear it was for no other reason than because her skin was brown and she spoke with an accent (even though her English was absolutely perfect!). He included a comment about her "inability to communicate being the reason for her lack of success in life" (he didn't realize he was talking to a PhD with a double 6-figure job!). Still shaken by the lack of professionalism. The school also said they would refund for lessons that were paid for, but never delivered - then failed to refund. This place should be shut down. A lawsuit waiting to happen. Avoid avoid.

They really do a great job making the environment fun for both parents and kids. They do incorporate a little of sign language and teach kids more than just music. I'm always able to step inside and rattle off some beats on a drum set and since they are all musicians, no one ever cares. So as a drummer, Its always been the drum section for me but today I came in because I want to start learning something new. Injuries to parts of my arms make it difficult to play guitar but since I've always loved piano, I decided that's what I would try. I first looked on line and found some used equipement but decided to stop in and see what Guitar Center had. Shayne was the first person I spoke to. He gave me a lot of great advice and really tried to educate me on the equipement I was looking at. He gave me all the pros and cons of each piece, he didn't try to over sell me, and he even told me how I COULD save some money finding something used on line or even on their web site. The thing I liked the most is how Shayne actually explained the pros and cons of buying used and gave me the perfect amount of information to make a very educated decision on what I ended up buying AFTER I was invited to take a day or two to do some research on my own before making any kind of purchase. I did buy new, and I did buy it from Guitar Center, and it was because of the service I received from Shayne during my two visits with him. The shop is one of my favorite places to shop but it was Shayne that captured the 5th star!
