Dolce Derma offered a "full body detox scrub," or so the website says; I booked an 11 AM appointment on a Saturday. It was relatively easy to find, storefront with street parking. Upon arrival there was nobody to greet me at the front desk - I called out "hello" about 3 times before a sweet young lady popped her head out from one of the back rooms and told me she would be right with me...my 1st flag. This business now represents as being short staff and disorganized. The young lady came out 5-7 mins later and escorted me to a room, which was a room for facials; inside the room she told me to take off my top and put on the wrap towel and leave on my bottoms...???...2nd flag raised (it's clear she doesn't know what service I'm here for) She returns to the room with a small tin bowl of water and I ask her if she knows what service I'm receiving today, I quickly tell her my service (full body scrub)...she was apologetic. She starts looking for the things she would need - sadly, red flag #1 is presenting itself more now. She doesn't have all the equipment for the service...SMH. She returns to the room with a water basin and wash towel. At this point this is not the full body detox scrub I envisioned or am use to. I normally get Korean Body Scrubs and that is what you would call full body scrub. Here at Dolce Derma, it's applying body lotion with beads and it's applied to your arms, dècolletage, back and legs on the facial bed while wearing the wrap towel. It was the worst experience, she kept having to run back and forth to the sink to replace water. If you don't know what a full body scrub is or have the facilities to accommodate please don't offer it; I received confirmation calls for this service as well, it would be nice to have all the necessary items to complete the service. It was a complete waste of $130. I ended up booking an appointment at my regular spot, what I should have done from the start.

I took a chance and scheduled an appointment and I have not regretted a second of it yet. As I came in, the staff was very welcoming and sweet and listened to my wants from my session. My girl was very accommodating and made my session very comfortable. My lashes looked awesome and I was very satisfied! I'm actually writing this review after over a week of having my lashes. I have had eyelash extensions before and in the past my extensions would not last up to a week after application. My photo is from OVER A WEEK of having them on and they still look as fresh as the same day I got them. I am getting a refill soon for an upcoming wedding but I am so HAPPY with finding this place! I had my brows done in January of 2021 and went back for my touch up sometime in March of 2021. They cancelled my appt for touch up due to a snow storm and couldn't accommodate me sooner for touch up. It had been about 11 Months since I had my procedure. I am writing my review now because I wanted to wait for the final results. Julianna did a very good job. I healed rather quickly and never had an issue! I protected them and still do every day with sunblock and try not to put face creams on top. I am happy with my experience and brows as they do look natural. That is something where Julianna excels at-she ensures her clients do not look crazy or too made up regardless of their requests. She genuinely takes pride In her work and it shows. Mine are darker than what she had originally suggested as I opted for combo brows-micro blading and shading. I love the color and so love the look! My brows look great and dive received many compliments-even from strangers! I do admit, however, that I along with a few others noticed a few imperfections. When I went in for my touch up I told Julianna that I was concerned they were slightly different and she said they were fine. She barely touched them during touch up. She is the pro though therefore I guess that's a good sign? She's confident in her work but she should have paid more attention to my concern bc I see it even more now . One is slightly shorter and slightly thinner than the other which extends horizontally and is thicker than the other. I didn't have perfect brows to begin with-don't believe any of us do and I guess she can only do so much! LOL I do believe she could have made more of an effort to touch them up especially after I voiced my concern. Shame on me for not speaking up again but I did confide and trust her. Nonetheless, they look good. I received a referral for Julianna by Kristina from Browsbykristina At the Strand Salon in Paramus. She is a master brow artist and she highly recommended Julianna. When I went in and told Lash and Brow that Kristina referred me they didn't even know who she was! In fact, Kristina refers all of her clients here just because of Juliana's great work. I'm hoping they will last the 3 years I was told they would last. It was something I contemplated for many years and I do love to wake up with brows as I feel they frame your face!
