I had an amazing first time experience here. They were extremely accommodating with my needs for specific scheduling times due to child care. Rachel was my tech, and not only was she extremely informative about every step of the process, she was an absolute sweet heart! The technician came to the door and unlocked. I had a lash lift and tint. During the process the technician left to go do other things because I could hear working. I was happy with the results but a few hours later I have an obvious eye infection with discharge. I have never had an issue as this was my fourth visit. I assumed they knew what my desires were and I honestly didn't want to make the woman feel bad because English was not her first language and I didn't think we could have a clear conversation easily. Another woman working there came out after she heard that I had exclaimed, oh my these are much longer than I expected. She spoke English as her first language and communicated to me that I had requested "sexy" and I told her I requested no such thing. She told me next time I should ask for cute and some other adjective that I'm not sure of. And she also said I should not go "longer than 11". Dolce Derma offered a "full body detox scrub," or so the website says; I booked an 11 AM appointment on a Saturday. It was relatively easy to find, storefront with street parking. Upon arrival there was nobody to greet me at the front desk - I called out "hello" about 3 times before a sweet young lady popped her head out from one of the back rooms and told me she would be right with me...my 1st flag. This business now represents as being short staff and disorganized. The young lady came out 5-7 mins later and escorted me to a room, which was a room for facials; inside the room she told me to take off my top and put on the wrap towel and leave on my bottoms...???...2nd flag raised (it's clear she doesn't know what service I'm here for) She returns to the room with a small tin bowl of water and I ask her if she knows what service I'm receiving today, I quickly tell her my service (full body scrub)...she was apologetic. She starts looking for the things she would need - sadly, red flag #1 is presenting itself more now. She doesn't have all the equipment for the service...SMH. She returns to the room with a water basin and wash towel. At this point this is not the full body detox scrub I envisioned or am use to. I normally get Korean Body Scrubs and that is what you would call full body scrub. Here at Dolce Derma, it's applying body lotion with beads and it's applied to your arms, dècolletage, back and legs on the facial bed while wearing the wrap towel. It was the worst experience, she kept having to run back and forth to the sink to replace water. If you don't know what a full body scrub is or have the facilities to accommodate please don't offer it; I received confirmation calls for this service as well, it would be nice to have all the necessary items to complete the service. It was a complete waste of $130. I ended up booking an appointment at my regular spot, what I should have done from the start.

They explained the entire process and helped me choose the perfect style and length. The application was relaxing, and I don't even feel like I'm wearing lashes. They look incredibly natural and beautiful. They clearly explained their fill policy: fills are every two weeks, and if you wait three weeks or more, it's considered a full set. First-time customers also get 20% off, which was a nice bonus. Street parking was easy to find. My lashes look so great and natural, I really can't keep up with the maintenance of lash extensions which is why I enjoy doing the lash lift. The procedure takes about 45 minutes, you wash your lashes with the lash cleansing foam they give you when you get there, when they are done they will also give you instructions and a small kit that explains the maintenance to keep your lashes looking great with a serum and lash brushes. I have had my lashes done by two different staff members and both were excellent. It's very easy to book online, you will also be able to check the prices on their website and for the service the price is reasonable. The establishment itself is very cozy, pink and gold decor that looks really great! I unfortunately don't live in the state anymore but rest assured when I come back to visit I'll be making an appointment to get my lashes done!
