I walked in not expecting to get anything done, but simply saw their "$25 summer blowouts" whenever I walked by and wanted to see if I could get one done. Mind you, this was on 5:30 pm on a Friday, and they were closing around 6:30 ish. I wasn't expecting them to say Yes since it was a late Friday afternoon. They took me right in and gave me the BEST blowout compared to the salon I go to which is 20 minutes away. My hair was a bit flat when I got it done, but the next day is so voluminous and I keep getting compliments! The staff is so nice and sweet, I forgot my card at home and while I was searching for it I was told I could come back and pay the next day. How nice is that? 10/10 stars! As for my hair, it's sleek and slightly curly just the way I wanted it. I didn't catch the lady's name who washed my hair, but my scalp feels super clean, she def took her time and I can tell! I took a chance and scheduled an appointment and I have not regretted a second of it yet. As I came in, the staff was very welcoming and sweet and listened to my wants from my session. My girl was very accommodating and made my session very comfortable. My lashes looked awesome and I was very satisfied! I'm actually writing this review after over a week of having my lashes. I have had eyelash extensions before and in the past my extensions would not last up to a week after application. My photo is from OVER A WEEK of having them on and they still look as fresh as the same day I got them. I am getting a refill soon for an upcoming wedding but I am so HAPPY with finding this place! I had my brows done in January of 2021 and went back for my touch up sometime in March of 2021. They cancelled my appt for touch up due to a snow storm and couldn't accommodate me sooner for touch up. It had been about 11 Months since I had my procedure. I am writing my review now because I wanted to wait for the final results. Julianna did a very good job. I healed rather quickly and never had an issue! I protected them and still do every day with sunblock and try not to put face creams on top. I am happy with my experience and brows as they do look natural. That is something where Julianna excels at-she ensures her clients do not look crazy or too made up regardless of their requests. She genuinely takes pride In her work and it shows. Mine are darker than what she had originally suggested as I opted for combo brows-micro blading and shading. I love the color and so love the look! My brows look great and dive received many compliments-even from strangers! I do admit, however, that I along with a few others noticed a few imperfections. When I went in for my touch up I told Julianna that I was concerned they were slightly different and she said they were fine. She barely touched them during touch up. She is the pro though therefore I guess that's a good sign? She's confident in her work but she should have paid more attention to my concern bc I see it even more now . One is slightly shorter and slightly thinner than the other which extends horizontally and is thicker than the other. I didn't have perfect brows to begin with-don't believe any of us do and I guess she can only do so much! LOL I do believe she could have made more of an effort to touch them up especially after I voiced my concern. Shame on me for not speaking up again but I did confide and trust her. Nonetheless, they look good. I received a referral for Julianna by Kristina from Browsbykristina At the Strand Salon in Paramus. She is a master brow artist and she highly recommended Julianna. When I went in and told Lash and Brow that Kristina referred me they didn't even know who she was! In fact, Kristina refers all of her clients here just because of Juliana's great work. I'm hoping they will last the 3 years I was told they would last. It was something I contemplated for many years and I do love to wake up with brows as I feel they frame your face! When I arrived, I was seated right away. That was a great start. I should have know things could go awry when the lady asked the owner how to fix a small break with a nail. The owner told her to use glue, I knew that myself. The lady did my nail. I paid $5 and I tipped her $5. Fast forward 2 hours later my entire nail came off. While doing nothing, I did not have time to go back to get the nail fixed again. Of course I am annoyed as hell. I paid, and tipped well for my nail to become worse than when I walked in. That was a complete turn off. I will not be going back. I will be searching for a good place that does nice gel manicures in Bergen County.
