And to make your visit even more worthwhile is a restaurant with a sweet breakfast and lunch menu. We visited yesterday and had a very nice breakfast in their large dining room. There is plenty of seating and plenty of parking too. I had a Veggie Breakfast Burrito ($10.50) with sauteed onions, peppers, spinach, grilled portobello mushrooms, American cheese, and diced tomatoes on a spinach tortilla, It was excellent and the size of that burrito made it a decent value for the price. My wife had a $7.49 Ham, Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich with an additional $1 bagel surcharge. It was a big bagel, and as you can see from our photo, there were three big ham slices included. Very good coffees were $3.59 each. On the way out, those gorgeous pastries in the showcase whispered sweet nothings in my ear, and helpless to resist, we ordered an Apple Pocket ($2.99) and a Chocolate Croissant ($3.25). How reasonable are those prices? We also saw that Marlborough has a refrigerated case with Grab and Go meals and stuffed breads. They are open from 6AM - 6PM on weekdays and 6AM - 3PM on weekends. There are plenty of cozy places to sit both inside and outside, and today they even had a musician performing on the patio, which made for such a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered breakfast and iced coffee from the café. The Brown Sugar Maple Croissant Breakfast Sandwich was absolutely delicious! Even though the café was very busy, the ordering line moved quickly, and they brought our drinks and food right to our table--a really nice touch. We also stopped by the bakery. Even later in the morning, there was still a great selection of baked goods. We brought home strawberry lemonade muffins to enjoy tomorrow, and I can't wait to try them. The general store was filled with adorable locally made products, along with a nice selection of take-and-bake meals that we'll definitely be coming back for. The entire property is thoughtfully designed with charming little seating areas scattered throughout. It's the kind of place where you want to slow down, relax, and spend a while exploring. Not sure if it was just this batch or... maybe it's just a flop. Tasted... off. Lasagna came in a cast iron round pan. How do you stack big rectangular lasagna noodles in a round pan? You cant. Im used to lasagna coming out in a big square, with stacks of noodle and cheese or whatever. This was just a gloopy mess with cheese on top. Sauce was decent anyway. Next was a baked ziti with sausage. El dente wasnt in the mix, ziti was boiled too far, sausage was thin sliced but alright, once again their sauce was doable in an Olive Garden kinda way.
