Great space and proximity to the lake. Easygoing stuff and quick service. Pleasant to communicate. Interesting menu. Great tacos and good entree sizes. Not recommending making a salad your entree - the size might nit be enough. Overall great experience. There is not much competition in the lake area so if the location is priority then Lakeside won't disappoint! We have visited a couple of times and we will be coming back.

Do you want to eat while looking out at the lake and seeing the sun shine against it? Do you want to eat great food and get waited on by Amy (best waitress ever)? Then eat here. That's it!! Order the chicken breast with veggies and mash. It was delicious and really well seasoned. My friends loved their meals too!!

Enjoyed the outdoor patio across from the lake although it was super hot and the umbrella didn't provide much shade. Maybe have some larger fans out there in the summer for guest's comfort. Our server was great and food was delicious. I had lobster stuffed sole and my husband had NY strip steak. Would definitely go back!

Great view on the patio, great service and yummy food. Had the burrata pizza bread and it was sooo good. Sweet potato fried also delish. Recommend.

Parking: huge lot Decor: rustic modern on the inside but very clean. Nice exposed beams, fireplace, igloos option for outdoor seating in offseason Food: tasting with good size portions. The presentation almost cost them a star. Dried parsley dashed around the plate from back in the 80-90's. It had the mashed potatoes scooped with an ice cream scooper which just says it was boxed mash. The soft pretzels were good, again presentation was lacking. Staff: very friendly and attentive to your needs even on a full Saturday night crowd. Extras: they had a one man band there, he was good but a little loud for my taste for music at 7-9 for dinner, felt more like a happy hour would have been more appropriate. The location is perfect, great views of the lake Price: very fair, will 100% be going back to try more items on the menu!!

First time here and we all had such a good time. Our waitress was so sweet and friendly. The outdoor seating was wonderful- so nice to be near the lake and have such a pleasant view! It's on a road so we didn't know if it would be loud from traffic but we forgot the road was even there so clearly we weren't bothered by any car noise. The outdoor seating was super comfortable, and it was just so lovely outside. However the inside looked great too with a big fireplace so would be great for cooler weather! (My only peeve- The bathrooms looked like they didn't belong- so old and outdated, please renovate! The mirror was comically high up the wall too lol) Anyways, the food was so tasty! We were constantly looking at other people's food choices too and already planning our next visit. So simple but the Caesar salad and fries were SO good! I got the halibut over pesto risotto which was good but could have used a touch of salt? But honestly I ate most of it so clearly it wasn't a dealbreaker. This place is so charming with wonderful staff and we cannot wait to come back! Thanks for a great visit!

Wow. Dinner here was better than expected. The reviews do not do it justice. It's a bit off the beaten path, but worth the drive. This cute little place is situated right along the lake. The view and weather was amazing. Lots of Cranes (maybe?) flying overhead. The traffic took a bit of the ambience away but still- it was lovely. Service wise- our waitress was kind, attentive and patient. I take a while to decide sometimes but she wasn't pushing or frustrated. She actively checked in to see how the food was and noticed I was missing the salad from my entree and practically ran to get it. Now on to the food. Again, wow. We started with the lobster bisque tater tots. Crispy hot tater tots in a creamy bisque soup covered in large chunks of perfectly seasoned and perfectly cooked lobster. Amazing. For dinner I ordered the Parmesan cod with a side salad and Mac & cheese. ( gotta have balance) . The cod was buttery, savory, flaky and just delicious. The Parmesan was the perfect amount and added a nice texture. This mac & cheese though. I'll go back just for that. It was cheesy, creamy, crispy topping and honestly the best I've had from a restaurant. My husband ordered the fish and chips and the fries were crispy, fresh and perfectly seasoned. We loved the portion sizes too. I could go on and on but honestly everything is 5 stars..

First off, the ambience of the place is fairly nice though you would not know it from how many of the other patrons choose to attire themselves. If you're looking for a upscale, dining experience, other patrons would suggest this is not the place for you. They started off by attending to put us at the wrong table per our reservation. The table was apparently filled, and they moved us to a different table, which was perfectly fine as it was a nice booth with a window right next to the table. They then gave us several menus from which to choose, which was confusing as there were so many different menus with similar food options, including brunch, menu, a burger, menu, a dinner menu, a Mother's Day, special menu, and the regular menu. There were also two separate drink menus. We started by ordering some drinks and an appetizer of the meat and cheeseboard for the table. We put in our full order at just before 12:59 PM and the meat and cheeseboard came out fairly quick. Overall, it was the best part of our time at the restaurant. With regards to our main meal, we had ordered an eggs, Benedict, a children's pancake and bacon, special, and a steak and eggs meal. That was apparently a mistake as it took them over one hour six minutes before the food hit the table and when it did, it was a mess. The medium rare steak was cooked to a well done with the eggs being extremely messy and not very runny for over easy. The potatoes were dark and charred in places, but we're not crispy by any stretch of the imagination. The Canadian bacon had not been rendered well on the eggs Benedict and one of the two poached eggs clearly had not been poached appropriately. Also, my daughter indicated that the syrup was way too sweet, which was especially surprising as she is someone with a sweet tooth. The pancakes themselves were extremely dense and unfair and served on a plastic tray missing one of the size that was supposed to come with the order. It is clear that the kitchen does not know what they are doing as I was the second person in a row to have issues with the cook temperature on my steak, a problem that appears to carry over to other aspects of the meal as well. At the one hour mark, I've been so frustrated. I had requested to speak with a manager and he was actually the one who brought out the food to our table. There was a good four minute gap between two of the meals being brought out and the third meal, which is what my wife had ordered for her Mother's Day brunch. By the time the eggs Benedict came out, I showed the manager my stake and eggs, and he agreed that it was cooked to a well done rather than the medium rare I had ordered. I had overheard the exact same issue on the next table over where the older woman had not gotten her meal until nearly all seven others at the table had completed their food. At that point, I sent back my steak and indicated I did not want it to be remade as I was done with the place. Shirley, thereafter, I was clear the rest of the family was of the same mind as the meals were a mess and cooked improperly. The manager eventually came over and indicated that he is going to take care of the entire CHUCK which makes sense sense more than 75% of the food ordered had been uneaten or inedible. The service was no better as waiters and waitresses would walk by and failed to refill empty water glasses, even though they would look right at the empty water glass and would have pictures of water in their hand at times. One waitress went to five separate tables around us, including table she was not serving and failed to fill our water, but filled water at other tables. Our waiter was also missing an action for a good portion of the meal. Despite having the meal taken care of, I did leave a small tip for the waiter, though nowhere near what I would have had the service been even somewhat competent. This is a major disappointment as the last experience I had at this restaurant for dinner had been so positive it convinced me to book the place for Mother's Day brunch. I'm not sure if this was a one off situation but I would never recommend a return to this place based on the experience I had this day. What's worse, our reservation appeared to fall between two rushes as we were the second table in the rush that showed up about 10 to 15 minutes after our arrival at the place. As such, our food should've been fairly quick and coming out but others who ordered their food more than 20 minutes after our table received it with no problem. I have to say that the Taco Bell we had as result of this poor food service was Myles and Myles better than the food experience at the restaurant itself.

My friend and I were out shopping and wanted to grab lunch. She was craving a sandwich so we headed to Cotton Hollow. We were pleasantly greeted at the door and seated in the bar area at a high top. We couldn't decide between inside and outside so when we were seated at a window table over looking the patio, we had the best of both worlds. Both the dining room and bar are lovely. There are tons of GF options, but I always go for the choices I normally can't have elsewhere. They have a dedicated GF fryer so I opted for the fried fish and sweet potato fries. The fries were crispy and lightly salted. The fish was tasty and crisp, but a little dry on the thinner piece. The coleslaw was an Asian style slaw, which was not my thing. It was a bit odd for me. My friend opted for a chicken wrap and it was insanely large and she said it was delicious. The photo is only 1/2 of the sandwich which she took home. I had the red sangria. It was drinkable but had a bit of a sour taste and no fruit. My friend had the Hugo Spritz, which was perfect and refreshing. I have been here a few times and they are consistent and have a wide menu. It's on my list of regulars. Hint, if you go to Sayulita and can't get in, this place is right across the street and a good choice.

Love the area, quintessential New England Country charm. As a pescatarian, I was happy to find several menu options! Yay! The service was fantastic from start to finish. The food was above average, and the prices felt fair for the quality and atmosphere. The only thing that stood out to me--and this may sound a little unusual--was the clientele. We were by far the youngest diners there. Curious, I asked the staff if that was typical, and they said it was. That said, if you're looking for a quiet, relaxed dining experience with great service, fair prices, and a pleasant setting, this restaurant is worth a visit. Also, I was told that they have live music on certain nights during the week. Not sure what kind of music it would be, my guess would be Tony Bennett and Frank Sinatra. Lol.
