Did some work on my older pick up truck my self, brought it in just to get an alignment and paid 255 dollars for a truck that pulls so hard left that I have to fight it to keep it on the road. The alignment was 120 dollars, hard to argue the price when this is a service that only an alignment shop could offer. But they then informed me they hade to adjust some of the parts and equipment that I myself installed to properly align the truck. I agree to pay for the labor only when completed was told that due to a chamber bolt which is used to alighn the truck was installed wrong that they not be able to properly align the truck and charge me 130 dollars for labor to not fix the problem. let this be a warning I will personally never be doing business with them again. read more

We have used them for all our repairs, and I'm talking about for the last, I don't know how many years but they've been our go to for repairs. My husband had to put the car in the shop for CV joints to be replaced and when he went to pick up car they broke the wiper switch off and try to glue it back and not tell us. It was the lie for us. You could've just told the truth and not try to hide it, hoping that we would leave and it would fall off after he was at home, but God is always on time. Took my girlfriends SUV in due to a nail in a tire. I was reprehensive going in thinking I was going to get crappy treatment and an over priced estimate. Wow! Was I way off base. I walked in first to ask questions about the wait time I was told will get you in as fast as possible. I spoke with two people at the front desk. One being Kellie and the other being a Daniel Turner. Later found out that Daniel works at the North Myrtle Beach store and was filling in. Kellie is this store's manager Both were extremely honest right out of the gate and worked with me to resolve the issue as fast as possible. they tried to help me go to the cheapest route but also the safest route. They advised me that due to the nail in the tire being in a precarious position they couldn't do it safely with a plug. The price of the tire was very high but after researching tire prices. They were right in the same market as everyone else. When we decided that we were not going to have the tire repaired today due to a possible warranty issue. They stated "bring the car in and we will switch out the damaged tire for a spare" . They took the car in immediately and I assumed I would have to pay some fee for their service work. Instead Daniel Turner stated to me, "there's no charge, all we did was switch out tires" To say that Southern hospitality and customer service was five star at this facility would be an extreme understatement. They understand the position of each and every customer and work with them diligently ,to get the resolution they need. This facility is a breath of fresh air! According to the Black's mechanics, the only way to check the engine cooling system for an overheating 2000 jeep engine is to pay 120$ for the diagnostic. read more

So I took my car in for the ac to be fixed and this is how I got it back they didn't even bother to tell me that they broke anything and then when confronted about it no one has any answers on how they are going to fix my dash. So with that being said I am highly disappointed in how they run their Business. Now they are saying the cracks are due to sun damage and they aren't gonna fix it but before I took it in it wasn't cracked This just keeps getting better when I called and asked for the names of the people who worked on my car they now claim it was 1 person but the day we picked it up and called them out ok it for being broken they said multiple people worked on it so now the story isn't adding up. read more

One that won't try and come up with all sorts of issues or inflate the price once they have my vehicle apart. If I could give 0 stars I would. We initially purchased 4 new tires through them and they forgot to reset the sensor so we had to drive around with warning light on. Also left one of the lug nuts off which we discovered when we returned. Then we had to return due to a screw embedded in one of the tires. Made the appointment and when we arrived, were told no record was in computer and so we basically were treated like a walk in, told they would fit us in in 10 minutes. We then proceeded to wait in excess of 40 minutes, at which time we got up and left. No masks even though city has public mask mandate. Absolutely disgusted with service. Will not return and will spread the word of our bad experiences. read more

I moved to NMB in January. Within the first few weeks I ended up with a nail in my tire. Luckily I work at a local hospital and EMS from one of the local stations noticed my flat tire and even changed it out for my spare at work. I called Black's a few days later to see about getting the tire patched. They were so friendly. I went up to the shop and they got my car on a rack within 30 minutes, which I consider pretty good since they didn't have any appointments. They patched the flat and I was done within an hour. My Honda service Center couldnt even do this when I made an appointment. I will be needing new tires soon and I plan to go back to Black's and give them my business! read more

I'm from Hendersonville, NC and deployed this morning with the www.flatrockwoodroom BBQ food trailer. We're part of a non profit disaster relief organization called operation Barbeque relief. We feed the emergency responders and those displaced from their homes. My trailer lost a tire and rim do to loose lugs and I was in a terrible bind with a couple thousand dollars of food and thousands of individuals looking forward to a hot meal. These guys (everyone) all the staff dropped everything and made a two day job happen in less then 3 hours. I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THEY EVEN GAVE ME A BREAK ON THE LABOR BECAUSE OF THE CAUSE IM REPRESENTING. PLEASE PLEASE BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY this is the only place everyone should go to for auto service. I was able to book the appointment online and didn't have to wait more than a few minutes when I dropped my car off. After some initial hiccups (that the company took full responsibility for) walked out with 4 good tires and an alignment for a good price. I'll start by saying I initially had high hopes.. the guy I first talked to on the phone was really nice. I dropped off my car for a tire repair, they said about 1-1.5 hours for the wait. I called about 2 hours later and it wasn't even started on yet, they said give them 35 min. So I head over there about 45 min later. Get there, and they haven't even started on it still.. they said give them about 25-30 minutes again. Go back inside and the mechanic takes me back to show me something about the tire, AND THEY "FIXED" THE WRONG TIRE (i did tell them what tire it was when i first dropped the car off) . So AGAIN, I had to wait about 20 minutes for them to fix the RIGHT tire. I go back inside, and they start saying that they had to break the tire lock, when I have a key in my glove box that's always been there but they didn't care to look or ask, obviously. Then they come back and say I can either wait or come back because I'm missing a lug nut. WHY WOULD I LEAVE WITH SOMETHING LIKE THAT MISSING ON MY CAR WHEN I SHOWED UP WITH ALL OF THEM THERE???!!?! I waited EVEN LONGER, for them to order a lug nut and install it on my car. Then when i go to leave, the guy hands me the busted lug nut as if I'm supposed to hold on to it for a trophy?? All in all, horrible experience.. they obviously have horrible communication within the business and they need to get it together to cater to their customers better. I would not recommend to anyone that wants to do something with their day other than wait for your car to maybe or maybe not be done. All together this journey took 4.5 hours. Long story short, I dropped off a tire with a very slow leak. I went back to pick it up later in the day. After being ignored by an employee he then told me my repaired tire was "flat as hell". It was just patched and it is flat as hell? Then he went back into the garage for a minute and came back without telling me hat was going on or why my just repaired tire was flat as hell. After waiting 20 minutes he went back into the garage and rolled my tire out and said here is your tire. I said how do I know this patch will hold? He said it will. I said I am not very confident about that. He just looked at me like I was an idiot. He also made no offer or attempt to put the tire on the car which I was told would happen when I dropped the tire off. And the tiny hole in the tire was now large enough for me to see the patch from the outside of the tire. Shoddy work at best. I have no idea if this tire will now blow out on me or if the repair was even done properly. Obviously it was not done properly the first time. read more

Very unprofessional not very good mechanics have had three vehicles in there they're not be able to figure out the problem with any of them took the vehicles to a different shop and they were able to figure it out within an hour mechanics do not know what they're doing there or not very good maybe okay for a tire change but that is all will not be using Black's for anything at all ever again read more
