    2023 Chevrolet Bolt EUV

    Because of the $7,500 rebate going away for some Electric cars in March 2023, and the uncertainty involved, there is great demand to purchase a Chevrolet Bolt EUV. It's a highly rated, reasonably priced electric SUV. After test driving one, it reminded me of my Chevrolet Impala in interior comfort and size, but with a higher drivers vantage point. This car doesn't scream electric car, the interior is the traditional GM configuration and you will feel right at home in it if you currently drive a GM. After a test drive of many EV's, this one had everything that was right for my family. While other dealers were trying to sneak in $5,000 mark ups over Window Sticker price, Blackstone was reasonable in their markup and stated prices up front. I decided to contact them. Ryan Hanson responded to my inquiry and was my Sales Consultant. Ryan treated me with the utmost respect and professionalism. He did everything he said he would do, and was the kind of person you shake hands with and trust. He immediately went and took pictures of the vehicle, including sending me a picture of the window sticker, all delivered via text message. He provided all costs for purchase up front, in writing. When I mentioned I had a Corvette as trade in, I sent him pictures, and he got back to me with a price he thought they could offer for trade in. I decided to take a chance that the deal would work out and would drive three hours to Fresno. I asked if Ryan could please charge up the Bolt fully overnight for my probable return drive the next day. I arrived in Fresno an hour early, and filled up the 2002 Corvette with a final tank of Chevron Premium. I took a few pictures and fought to hold back the tears. After 10 years together, it was time to give someone else a chance at the legendary American powerhouse. I will miss the car, but that decade of my life is behind me now. There may yet be another Corvette in my future if the Electric Corvette has round tail lights the way God intended, and the used prices reach my affordability zone. In contrast to other dealerships where you feel like you are being sized up to see how much they can take advantage of you, Blackstone seems calm and low pressure. I am reminded of the famous Chevrolet ad "Baseball, Hotdogs, Apple Pie & Chevrolet". Ryan makes Blackstone seem like the old fashioned Chevy dealer who is a valued part of the community. After looking over the Corvette, Blackstone exceeded the amount they threw out as a ballpark figure in advance. What kind of dealer does that? One who is honest and looking to build a long term relationship with the customer. I did my best to be generous and act in good faith, and they acted in kind. Mutual respect for mutual benefit. As Ryan said, "It's not that hard, it seems obvious to me!" I left some surprises for the next owner- a copy of "All Corvettes are Red" in the back hatch area, along with the Corvette Black Book. I also included a car cover, all documentation, and a list of all the modifications and upgrades to the car from stock. (I also included the original parts in a box except for the shocks, in case they wanted to go back to stock.) Accepting their trade in offer, I next went to meet Tan Chima, Finance Manager, to go sign the paperwork. Tan, like everyone I spoke to at Blackstone, is friendly, quick to offer help, and wants to make sure you are well taken care of. I worked with Tan using their new touchscreen signing system. No more stacks of papers and smudged ink, just e-sign and go. Tan was patient, quickly caught that I made a check out for $3.00 too much, and made sure all documents were signed and in order. It was the fastest I've ever gone through the purchase process, and before I knew it Tan was calling for Ryan to come and take me to the car. Two for two on outstanding employees! Ryan went over the basics, getting me set up with Onstar, the My Chevrolet app, and making sure my new Bolt EUV was as it should be. The car was freshly washed, and I took a few pictures, one of which is included in this review. I started the three hour drive home, and the car was great! Silent, efficient, and with Super Cruise, it drives itself on the freeway. I easily made it the 180 miles home with about 80 miles of charge left. This is the 6th GM vehicle I've purchased, and I've been a loyal customer for life. Some of the Bay Area dealerships were making me lose faith over the years. Blackstone Chevrolet, specifically Ryan Hanson, restored my faith. I will start my future car shopping there first when I next need a car.

I said I would pay with a check and he said he would change the price to $8,999 if I paid with anything else but cash. I told him I would go file a complaint at the DMV And he took down all his cars from Marketplace.
