    Spicy Asian Wings

A darling bistro-style restaurant! Firstly, the service was amazing! I went with my sister who is a wine drinker. I am not, but I was offered a sweet tea. My sister loved her wine that was chosen by Jeremy (ask for him if you need a suggestion). It was Wednesday so the special was a deep dish style pizza. We ordered pepperoni along with Asian spicy wings. I loved the crust on the pizza and the pepperoni had great flavor. The spicy wings were very tasty, but could've used a little longer cook on them. I like my wings crispy. For dessert we had the tangerine cheesecake. So good! If you're a wine drinker, they have so many top of the line choices. This is a definite must.

If I could rate this food a 6/5 stars I would. The serving sizes are very generous and the quality of the food is superb! The seasonal menu, and specials ensures that there will always be something new and exciting to try here. We went for my husbands birthday and they comped us glasses of champagne to celebrate which was so kind of them! The head chef was walking around checking on tables, which I thought was very special! Our server Miguel, was so knowledgeable about the food, and told us that he was very proud of the food they serve. The restaurant itself is cozy and inviting. The music was the perfect cherry on top! I would 10/10 recommend checking this place out on your next date night!

Honey Garlic Chicken with carrots and potatoes, paired with the best sauce I have ever had. Beyond exceptional!

We went to Blaine's last night. We are getting SO many new restaurants in Waco and we always give them a try. Only a couple times have we said we'll never be back. Most first visits are pretty good and we fairly enjoyed the experience leaving us with...we'll keep it in mind. I can't remember the last time I wanted to go back the very next day! Then we went to Blaine's!! I'm definitely craving that Honey Garlic Chicken and may actually go back today! Every single thing about our dinner last night was top notch. The service was flawless. Jeremy went above and beyond a couple of times for us and it was such a treat. The wine selection was SO good. The Oak Farm red zin was our table's fave. We loved the vibe. Small and cozy but everyone in there was laughing and having fun so it was a perfect volume and not awkwardly quiet. We will 100% be back and it may very well be in the next few hours! Perfect spot for a date. Perfect for a girls night out. Perfect for a pop-in by yourself with two great bar areas. We loved it!

Well be back. And we'll bring friends :-)

That's why I was genuinely disappointed to find out that the chicken Caesar sandwich has been removed from the menu. It might seem like a small change, but for regular customers like me, that sandwich was a standout item and one of the main reasons I kept coming back. It had a great balance of flavor and felt like a reliable go-to every time. Taking it off the menu without a comparable replacement feels like a missed opportunity and, honestly, a bit frustrating. I completely understand that menus evolve and restaurants need to make changes, but it would mean a lot to see fan-favorite items like this either return or be replaced with something similar. Milo's still has a lot going for it, which is why this change stands out even more. Hoping this feedback is taken in the spirit it's intended--supportive, but coming from a very disappointed regular.

In particular the deviled eggs and Brussels sprouts caught my eye, unfortunately the latter was sold out so I went with the sweet potato Both dishes I had were really good! The candied bacon paired really nicely with the creamy deviled egg, the hot sauce vinaigrette didn't add too much flavor, but honestly adding a significant amount of heat would've probably taken away from an already very tasty dish. The baked sweet potato on the other hand had a nice dose of heat from the Calabrian honey vinaigrette, the sweet heat combo worked really, I'm surprised I'd never come across a spicy sweet potato dish before, but I'll definitely have my eye out for it in the future Overall I had a very good experience and will definitely be back for future rest stop meals between Austin and Dallas!

The vibe was really nice, especially with the purple lighting that gave the whole rooftop a cool, laid-back atmosphere. I made it just in time for last call, which felt like perfect timing to grab one last drink and take in the night air. I ordered a Dusty Road. It had a nice tart kick to it, which I liked, but I honestly didn't taste much of the honey. A little more honey probably would have balanced the bitterness better. That said, it was still a really good drink and definitely hit the spot after a full day out. Overall, Lucky Buck's was a great stop to end the evening--good atmosphere, nice rooftop setting, and a chill way to close out the night. I've had the Chicken Parmesan pasta, the Margherita pizza, and the Pepperoni pizza. Each of them was above average. The Chicken Parmesan came with a nicely breaded and cheese-covered piece of chicken with spaghetti and two pieces of garlic toast. It was good, though it could have used a little more red sauce. Pizzas are available as 20" or 14" pies, and certain ones you can get by the slice. The crust is medium thickness, light, with a soft core and a crispy outside. The Margherita was good but I preferred the Pepperoni. Overall, both pizzas were above average. I especially liked the crispiness of the outside of the crust. They also have salads and wings.
