Ice cream was delicious, not overly sweet, and the perfect scoop size for everyone. My oldest kept asking if we can go back to Celtic for ice cream - so when he asks multiple times, we know it's good! The choices of flavors of ice cream is not overwhelming, nor is it the same flavors that everyone seems to be offering these days. After sampling multiple flavors, I was able to narrow it down to two (can't remember the names) and ordered a cup with the two flavors. It's a good thing I stopped at two because the portions are nice-sized. My husband and my sister both ordered different flavors so we were all able to sample a little of each. So creamy and delicious and not over-priced. They also have a gift shop where we were able to pick up some really nice Topsail Island t-shirts for a decent price. While we were looking at the shirts, we spent time talking to the owner and she went above and beyond answering our questions about the shop, the shirts and the area. We will definitely be back when we are in the area, which hopefully will be quite often. Our nephew bought a place in a great campground that is perfect for our RV. Downstairs, I found the coffee and pastries. I picked up a Raspberry Crisp to take home. All the cookies looked yummy. Upstairs, there are children's books in a section and then other adult books. I could have spent hours browsing. The staff as welcoming and friendly. There is plenty of parking in the little strip mall. This is a fun, independently-owned, place for a book lover to come on a rainy (or sunny) day.
