What can I say...I had been wanting to purchase a Rolex for years. My salesman Burt made the purchase very pleasant and enjoyable. What I didn't tell them, was the reason I decided to purchase from them was quite simple. A week before, I brought in a Casio G shock in to have the battery replaced. When I came back the next day to pick up the watch, Dominik brought it out to me. I went to the counter to pay for the service and he said, "No charge, Merry Christmas." I know this was a small gesture, but it meant the world to me. I have been to other Rolex dealers/Jewelers in the past few years and Blakeman's by far has the most humble, sincere and pleasant staff I have experienced. I've made purchases from Blakeman's in the past and had a good experience, so when I recently came in to some "value unknown" jewelry to consider for appraisal I reached out and was able to quickly get time with their expert, Jason Richard. I had two 10x10x10ish boxes to peruse. Jason and the rest of the staff were superbly friendly, professional and welcoming! Jason took his time and went the extra mile to look up and provide advice on value and sales potential for several vintage and antique costume jewelry pieces. I was also able to have a few of my watches looked at for possible repairs and got a few batteries replaced, which was quick and easy! We had a great experience buying our first Rolex, which just happened to be in stock. The storefront is inviting, and the salesman Doug was responsive, followed up, and expedited delivery. 10 Stars if I could. I have been in so many times and every time they treat me like family and have open hearts. My 3 dogs join me and they dote over them and welcome them just the same. Absolutely fantastic experience and I look for reasons to support a local business when I shop there. I don't mind to spend money when I know their gratitude is a big as mine. I purchased a Tudor Black Bay last year and they are always glad to change the band for free from my summer to winter band. I walked in this morning to have my Tudor band switched. They had the hard to find Rolex Sub in Black, Gold, and Stainless in their case. I had to have it, but needed to delay the purchase till after 1 Jan. Mr. Blakeman greeted me as he always does .....loves on the dogs then we connect once again. He graciously shook my hand and the deal was done after listening to what I would like to offer. I came in to Blakeman's around Christmas 2020 to get a new battery put in my Tag. The manager I spoke with told me I could wait or come back to pick it up. While talking, we spoke about my watch and how I had an eye out for a Rolex. I came to pick up my watch the next day and was greeted again by the same manager (I have forgotten his name since then). He stated the new battery was no charge and they would love to sell me my next watch if given the chance. I have since been narrowing down what watch I wanted to purchase and came in a couple weeks ago and was quickly met by Burt. As we discussed what I was looking for he was very apologetic in the fact the watch I was looking for was on backorder and they have a waiting list. I told Burt that was fine and to please call me whenever one was available for me to pick up. I left the store that day not even disappointed to be leaving without the watch I wanted, this was due to the knowledge and the transparency that Burt had given me. Personally, I find it intimidating to walk in to a jewelry store. I usually think I am being sized up about what I can purchase. Not here! They enthusiastically greeted me! I was just there to have my ring sized down. $120.00 (Overstreets in downtown Bentonville quoted me $670.00.) They did a phenomenal job. I will never go anywhere else!
