Blake's lotaburger on the north side of gallup. Food is good, but the place is always dirty. Tables are hardly tended too, for cleaning. Too many people asking for money once you walk out the door. Food is ok, but it seems to be made too quickly and poorly. I still eat there. They have drive thru but the wait is long because it's cooked to order. It's just like waiting inside, but you know the burgers are always fresh with Blake's . Awesome food, poor service. read more

The food is good. I'm New Mexican through and through and I love me some Blake's Lotaburger. However we picked this location for its drive through thinking it would be quicker..... it wasn't. We ordered and paid fairly quickly. However they told us to park in the back and wait for our food. The back of the building was incredibly jam packed. They need an entirely new drive through system set up. The way the vehicles are parked in a tiny area behind the building isn't safe. There's almost no room to drive through the chaos back there. We waited back there for almost 30 min watching cars nearly side swipe/bump each other the entire time. I think if your gonna visits it's probably best to park and walk inside to order/pick up food. read more

We were hungry and on our way to Phoenix and needed to get a bite to eat. This was the wrong place. This use to be my favorite Blake's to eat at. Today I witnessed a wooden handle mop being used to mop clean the grill. I was told by staff that it is "a grill mop." It was then hung on the water handles in a large wash sink. There were no other mops in view nor were there any color indicators on the wooden mop to tell apart from others. 2 Minutes later a wooden handle mop that appeared to be the same mop was being used to mop the floor. The shift manager was very hesitant to issue me a refund and the cook that was cleaning the grill was scoffull. A call to the corporate office was placed and waiting for a response. read more

I got a flat fire on my way back to Texas from Utah and was fortunate enough to be craving a burger while my tire was being fixed in Gallup NM. I could've went to Burger King, Wendys or McDonalds but felt like supporting a local company. All in all, the menu was simple and the waitress was friendly. The wait seemed longer than usual, but I had to remind myself it wasn't McDonalds or Burger King where they put things in the microwave for 20 seconds and call it a day. It was worth the wait. The ingredients were very fresh and overall a VERY delicious burger. I may (will) be criticized for this, but this was right up there with In-N-Out burgers. Absolutely the worst place to get Blakes in Gallup. It took us 45 minutes to get our food correct from the drive-thru. After 20 minute wait, I went inside to see if my order was ready. Apparently my order got "lost" so they were barely going to start cooking it after I gave them a copy of my order. Finally after waiting 15 more minutes, my food was finally ready. I drove away and checked my order to only realize that I was missing a food item. I drove back and got my missing food so I finally got all my food after 45 minutes. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! This place doesn't even deserve one star. So here goes, we pull up to the drive through. There's like three or four cars ahead of us. We came with a large group so we dined in. We were greeted by a server who opened the door for us. It reminded us of an in-n-out from the twilight zone. It had an open floor plan with no wow factor nor photos. I was curious to know the history about this place. Who is Blake? The cashier stations were separated in two with a wall in the center. You can see the kitchen behind the cashiers. I couldn't get over the flies roaming freely though. We sit down. The tables were flimsy and didn't want to put too much weight on them; otherwise, they may have fallen off. We were approached by a random patron trying to sell us a silver bracelet. The server, Brandon, approached us afterwards with a small tray offering condiments and paper napkins. 4 of the 9 orders were incorrect. There were burgers that didn't have green chiles although they were requested and vice versa. One burger had a receipt attached saying it had green chiles when it didn't. My chicken burger had green and red chiles despite not asking for it. Not once did we get an apology from the staff. We got cups with crushed ice and the drinks were self-served. The cherry shake was okay and the season fries were crispy and good. We made the most of it as it was our last meal in New Mexico, but our experience was unpleasant overall. 1 star for greeting us and 1 star for the fries. read more

When I got home, a 20 min drive, I was surprised to find all the burritos only contained red chile. The other half of the burrito was dry. We are a family of five that stops to eat here every time we go to our hometown, Farmington, NM. Food is always excellent, but I'm tired of their terrible service. We stopped to eat here on 11/26/2017, waited for 30 minutes before asking the manager about our order, she proceeded to tell me that they were busy and would have our order out shortly. After 1 hour of waiting they brought out an order to us that belonged to another table. When I notified them they all looked puzzled. Management didn't apologize once, I requested my money back to which they responded with a very rude attitude " Well, it will take 3-4 days to go back into your account; do you still want it? "No apology, no customer service, not even once did they try to make it right. We left without eating and will be the last time we make this our stop on our way to Farmington.
