This place is so horrible I absolutely do not recommend it!! Driving across the country and found this place driving through NM we thought we'd give it a try. Ordered burgers and seasoned fries with shakes. The fries where the worst fries I've eaten in my life. Soggy, cold, NOT seasoned and some where raw. Placed my order on the app around 8:45am and it's now 10:09am and they still haven't made my order. I came in to pick it up because the app said "completed" but when I got here they said they were still making food prep and hadn't even made their chili. Maybe it's just a bad day but Blake's opens at 6am so I'm not sure why by 10am prep isn't done. While they said I they can't do a refund so my fiancé and I just decided whatever we'll wait. People are coming in trying to order and they're turning some people away but not everyone, saying "we just opened we don't have anything ready" honestly this Blake's is just an overall disappointment. By the way it's not like they're crazy busy and haven't had time, when I came in I was the only one in here and the only online order they had. We are from out of town and decided to grab a quick bite from here and the burritos were so small compared to the Blake's in ABQ?? The lobby itself and bathroom were disgusting. Floor was sticky and full of trash. Bathrooms were nasty. They were not busy so this didnt make much sense for the place to be so gross. read more

On Saturday September 29th at 8:30pm I called in my order to lotaburger I ordered a hot dog with cheese, onion rings, and a medium French Dr. Pepper my usual order. Well anyway I went to pick up my order I seen there were a lot of people there waiting for their food and complaining to the workers about not getting their order correct it was not just one customer it was several. 15minutes later I was still waiting for my food then I noticed an intoxicated person walked in with an empty water bottle and went straight to the foundation drink station and dispensed sprite or Mountain Dew into his bottle and stumbled out of the burger place he wasn't told a thing from the workers and if I'm correct lotaburger is not allowed to let that happen. After 20 minutes of waiting my order was ready I walked to the register to see if they got my order right and it was right, one of the employees ask me did you want sliced or shredded cheese on your hotdog and I just laughed at her because I never got asked that before like hello!!! Then I got me some Dr Pepper I gave the cup to the lady to pour some French in my drink and she poured about 2 drops in and asked if that was good I told her she had to put more so I don't get how you even work at lotaburger and not even know how much French has to be poured in to paying customers drinks. I'm very disappointed with this lotaburger because the workers they have in there have no clue what there doing I don't recommend this lotaburger at all. Lotaburger used to have one really great worker I went in there at the middle of September on the day that employee worked and he wasn't there so I asked and they told me that he was fired because some police officer that does not I repeat does not like him made a false accusation about him to corporate, he walked in for work the next day the manager told corporate wants me to fire you. lotaburger has these great workers but then they get fired over false accusations from people that don't like them that's bull!! I have lived here my entire life Lotaburger used be a great place that only New Mexico had it was a hidden Treasure now it's probably one of the worst burgers you'll get in New Mexico they went from a decent patty to dried up paper thin. from a burger that you bit into and said oh damn that's good to I just wasted 10 bucks. the fry's are either crunchy and cold or soggy and wet. But you be your own judge. Today my visit started with a call in order where an automated clerk took my order it was correct that was at 2:15 be ready in 10-15 minutes arrived at location 2:27 got food at 2:38 dry burger mostly bread very thin patty, but a Lota burger fry's were smaller Itsa size and rock hard cold. Try a Pepsi with your order the automated voice said? well out of order on the Pepsi and the Dr. Pepper lol try a diet with my order better yet I'm going to try a diet for good and cut Lota burger out of my lunch stops. Probably the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. We went to Blake's on the suggestion of a friend. We're passing thru Grants and decided to stop for the New Mexico style burger. I swear the girl behind the counter must've been high. The menu shows no "meal deal" options, so when my burger priced at $6.79 rang up for over 8 bucks I asked her about the price. She shrugged her shoulders and said that's how it rings up. Took 20 minutes plus to get 2 burgers and one order of fries.. When our order comes out it's missing a burger. I ask if it's going to take another 20 minutes? She ignored me and walked off. After about 10 minutes of waiting, I walk back in and inquire about my NM style burger. She turns to the cook and says, "Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you, they didn't get their burger." She hadn't even ordered it! I stand there waiting and the guy doesn't even know how to put it together! Hello! It's their #1 burger! Thankfully a woman who knew what she was doing put one together while I waited. Could it get worse? Oh yes it can. My husband and I are sitting on the patio both with burgers up to our mouths and this same girl comes out with a sack and says, "Here's your burger" and walks off!! Can't she see I was eating my burger? And she couldn't even remember me at this point? She brought our meal out, brought us back ketchup, I showed her what was in our sack and said we were shorted, then went inside and spoke to her again! Oh, and the burger wasn't even a NM style burger!! It was a regular burger, no mayo, no onions! Unbelievable! So some other poor soul was waiting for their burger. Due to COVID, I trashed it!
