We ordered two Whataburger with everything on it and added chopped green chilies. We also ordered the loaded chili cheese fries, and added chopped green chilies. The chopped green chilies were tasty and medium to hot heat. The loaded chili cheese fries were good nice and spicy with the added chilies. I love love love they're green chili cheeseburgers. They are the best. This is my favorite Blake's in all of new mexico. I eat there about once a month when I come into town. The only reason I am giving them a four-star rating is because the last four five times I have the ​ eating there I have ordered a soda with my meal. It always taste like dirt which tells me they are not cleaning the nozzles on a regular basis. That is my only complaint. read more

This blakes is reminiscent of the golden days of Blake's when the beef was local, fresh, and good. The food quality was consistent, the place is clean, and the service is quick. Small towns like Blake's haven't changed, like Albuquerque or larger cities, to be gentrified, horrible, and of poor quality. Ok, it's NOT a Whataburger, but we're NOT in Texas! Good burger, nice crunchification, soft bun, lettuce and tomatoe. The onion rings were legit... super crunchy!! When you are heading to Nevada and two of f your girls want their Blake's Breakfast Burrito fix this is the perfect stop! It easy to get off the interstate and cruise through Grants pick up your order. You cruise a little more through more of Grants and back in the road. If I had been smart about it I would have called it in. They were too busy so my wait was short. I ate mine on the road and it was perfectly wrapped, which made it easy ti handle. I was thrilled that it was made to my request. The burritos arrived in Vegas in tact and well received. The staff was friendly and ready to service their guest. Recently road tripped to Texas and I couldn't pass up a chance to have some Blake's. This location is close (less than a mile) to an EV charger, which was convenient for us. Normally when you see fast food spots in super small towns, you probably lower your standards a bit, but I swear every since Blake's is fantastic. The restroom was pretty clean, as well. My favorite and honestly only thing I've tried is the lotaburger NM style, which is a double cheeseburger (but i normally order it as a single) with the best hatch chiles on it. It's my favorite fastfood burger ever (and I'm a die hard in n out lover). The fries are good, the onion rings are even better, and even the iced coffee is pretty good. read more

I had the Lotaburger with green chili and cheese combo with fries. It took 15 minutes to get my order at 10:14 am. My fries were a little limp. Is it to much to ask to get hot and crispy fries? This is the most common problem I run into at burger joints. The burger was just average. The green chili gave a little kick which I like. While were eating in Santa Fe, NM, we got to talking to one of the locals at the restaurant. He noticed my hubby's In-N-Out shirt and said that he tried when he was out in So Cal. He then states that they were good burgers but Blake's LOTABURGER are much better. More his type of hamburger. Said that WHATABURGER was more like In-n-Out. Nice spot to find on our road trip. Service is pretty slow because everything is made to order. But it was a nice day so we sat outside on the patio and enjoyed the sun. Guy taking our order seemed a little overwhelmed. But, when the food came, we all enjoyed our burgers and fries. Onion rings were really good too... just the right amount of batter on them. The Lotaburger with green chile is SO GOOD, and legitimately *spicy*! Loved it! Good onion rings, too. Traveling during June, 2020, with the Covid-19 pandemic in full swing wasn't ideal, but this location was clean, and followed mask and social-distancing rules well. I used to really like having a breakfast sandwich or burrito from Blake's, but they have changed how they prepare their food. It's not longer made fresh but instead a bunch is made and then kept in a warmer. For the sandwich the chilies and cheese aren't mixed in, but are dumped on top. In the burrito, the hashbrowns are way undercooked (raw and warm) and the eggs are dried out. This will be the last time I get breakfast at Blake's. If I had wanted old, reheated food, I would have gone to McDonalds. read more

This place offered me and my close to starving companion both of those things. Despite the 14-minute and 34.4-second wait, I was able to forgive their slightly frustrating wait time because the meal was just that satisfying. The bright red booth cushions supplied the perfect ambiance, and the smells inside took me to a place of ecstasy. We were just passing through on vacation driving across the country, and we had a hard time finding a place to stop for food. We have had Blake's elsewhere before and chose to stop here. Nothing tragic happened during our experience, but just about every aspect was pretty rough. Ordering took a super long time because for some reason she couldn't enter our order correctly (she wasn't new but we had a shake in our combo and she couldn't make it work out right), the restaurant wasn't well taken care of (wasn't clean), and while some food was very good (onion rings), my chicken strips for example were seriously gross. Super super cheap meat. I was a little worried I would get sick. My husband's burger was find though. We wont be stopping here again. read more

Four orders after ours were delivered to customers. We asked twice for the status of our order. Not pleased at all with the service.
