On a random Sunday I decided to visit Liljenquist & Beckstead in Westfield Montgomery Mall with real hope. My mom has been buying jewelry from them for years and recommended the store to me back in 2020, so I knew the service would be excellent. I left impressed by the team and even more motivated to keep working toward my dream watch. I've been grinding for over 12 years. My partners and I recently launched our own business, and it has exceeded every expectation. This success has me ready to invest in a meaningful piece the Rolex GMT-Master II "Bruce Wayne" something I can wear every day as a reminder of the grind and eventually pass down to my kids as a family heirloom. Jeff Kaufmann was fantastic. He was super nice, took his time with zero pressure, and thoroughly explained every detail of the Bruce Wayne, including exactly how to set and use the three time zones on the GMT function. Replaced the stone, fixed the platinum, and shined everything up perfectly. The service was impeccable and right on--they gave me a time estimate and it was done right on time. I was also impressed with how well priced the repair was--it was way, way less than I was expecting, and I was particularly blown away when I saw the finished product. It was spectacular. Made an appointment to check out some engagement rings. Had one in mind as that's what my…read moregirlfriend told me she was interested in. While setting up the appointment, the questionnaire asked which ring I was interested in, and if I had any other requests. I specifically requested the ring that my girlfriend liked, and had a request to bring in 2 others to help me pick out the ring. I got a confirmation email, and radio silence until the day before the appointment. The day before the appointment, I was again asked what ring I wanted, and can only bring one other person to view the rings. Concerned, so I tried calling. This was when I learn that it is impossible to call specific stores. The number goes straight to a call center. When I asked if I can talked to the store directly to confirm that they have the ring I was interested in, they said the store would call me back same day. They never did. Finally the day of the appointment, about an hour before, I finally got a phone call from a less enthusiastic person, Emely. She stated that they had the ring, and I could bring two others. At this point it was too late and I already told my 2nd person they couldn't come. When I arrived at the appointment on time, Emely was not there until about 5 minutes later. Again with the lack of enthusiasm. She walked us to her desk, and showed us the ring we were interested in, along with a few other comparables. They only had larger size rings to show. When asking basic questions, we got a bunch of "I don't know" and "I guess" response. Really soured our mood when ring shopping. Finally when we were wrapping up, I asked if there were any number I could call if I had any questions. She said to just email her, but she was not responsive to emails before. The lack of enthusiasm and responses gives me concerns to purchase the engagement ring here.
