And the scent drifts outside, making it fun even just to walk past. Staff (owners I assume, plus maybe a couple of others) are always friendly and helpful. There are many different scent options, and product options. They change up a bit each season, so worth stopping back every few months.

I called about a drier repair on Sunday night 12/11/16 spoke with Paul and set appt for Monday 12/12 at 10 AM... well, no one showed... finally I called again and was rescheduled to Tues 12/13 at 10.... around noon- a different person showed up- did a reading and said my control board was bad and would be around $300- he collected $50 cash (I was fine with that b/c he had at least diagnosed my problem...supposedly... and I could replace board if necessary). Scheduled for Friday- taking off work yet again, no show at 10AM... then said he's be there between 4-6 and has the part. He did not show up or call. Saturday I called other repair places and set up a backup appointment for Monday ... turns out a drier is handy... Out of curiosity I called again and was told "he" would be out by 3.... not holding my breath, I did other things around the house finally left with the family for the zoo at 5:15; around 5:30 I received a call saying he would be there in 30 minutes and it would take 10 minutes to repair. I told him I could not... then he swore that he would be at my house Monday the 19th at 10AM... Needless to say- no show, no call since then. Other repair people showed up and repaired what turned out to be a different problem (for less $)... so, I am glad I didn't change out the control board. I heard about Tiki Botanicals through a partnered Yelp event, when I mentioned that I was unable to attend the event the shopkeeper right away said he would honor the event promo. When you walk in there are paper shoppers bags along the wall you can grab to start putting your goodies in. They offer candles, bath bombs, bar soap, hair products, and more! When you check out you get to pick which tissue paper to use in your bag. So adorable and a great touch. As I was leaving the shop I heard the shopkeepers discussing what they would work on for the day. They were going to pour candles. It was a very Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion moment and it made me smile from ear to ear! You can really tell they enjoy what they do and know how to provide a memorable customer experience.

This company was willing to do it if we could find the part. After a few weeks, we were able to locate one. Their service representative, Jerry, was on time, professional, and competent. He was able to fix the oven door and left everything in a good order. We had several discussions with the front office to answer some of our questions and to verify that we had the correct part before we ordered it. We also appreciated that they were able to quote based on an email since the issue was a broken oven window that was easy to show by attaching a picture to an email. Since we didn't want to pay for a visit if we could not find the part and needed an estimate the cost so we could decide whether to replace or repair, we were glad to be able to get a email quote for a smaller charge. They then deducted the charge from the final bill

In my opinion, this is the worst repair company in the area. The technicians were incompetent and unable to properly diagnose the problem. Instead of identifying the root cause, they appeared to be replacing parts by trial and error. The customer service was equally disappointing and horrible. The office manager, John, was extremely rude, aggressive, unprofessional, and irresponsible. At no point did we feel that this company cared about us or our concerns. Our Bosch dishwasher displayed an E15 error code, and Bosch recommended that we contact Capital City Appliance for service. That recommendation led to a very frustrating and expensive ordeal. The experience with Capital City was like a real nightmare. We waited nearly two weeks for our first appointment. Over the course of four service visits, the technicians replaced four different parts and charged us more than $1,100. Despite all of that, they never fixed the dishwasher. After each visit, they assured us the problem had been resolved, only for the same error to return. It seemed like they were guessing instead of properly diagnosing the issue. When we contacted the office for help, we received no support. Rather than taking responsibility or working toward a solution, our concerns were dismissed. In the end, we gave up and bought a new dishwasher, which cost less than what we had already spent on unsuccessful repairs by Capital City Appliance. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this company. I also hope that manufacturers and home warranty companies reconsider referring customers to Capital City Appliance. Poor service like this reflects negatively not only on the repair company but also on the manufacturers and warranty providers that recommend it. I encourage other customers to share their experiences with manufacturers and home warranty companies so they can make informed decisions about their service partners. In our experience, Capital City Appliance did not provide competent repairs or acceptable customer service, and I believe manufacturers and warranty companies should carefully evaluate whether this company should continue receiving referrals.
