My Maytag dishwasher wasn't working, they came and gave an estimate. It was a case of repair or replace (cost wasn't too dissimilar), but I had such confidence in the service tech Jamie, that I went the repair route (one less appliance in a landfill). Wall oven had an electronic door lock glitch. A tech named Jamie came out and found the problem and pointed out the unsatisfactory installation done by whoever did installs for Big Sandy Stupid Store ( they suck) three or so years ago. Took a few days to get a new part (weekend). As soon as the part arrived, Jamie came out and installed and tested it. Very courteous and PROFESSIONAL. Cost was a little south of $500 which I thought was reasonable. read more

My mother's dryer broke. The main knob turned, but stopped "clicking" into place. She'd had it repaired for the same problem a couple of years ago, but that wasn't under warranty anymore. Did my research and found Liberty. Jamie was going to replace the knob again, but it was actually the timer mechanism itself that broke. With the knob pulled off the dryer, he had me try turning the timer with pliers, but it was very hard. The knob would have done the trick short term, but in a few years we'd have the same problem again. I'm so glad he pointed this out. He replaced the timer, and everything works like it should again. Jamie was very nice and considerate, and explained and showed us everything he was doing. He even checked my mother's dryer exhaust vent because he noticed bad air flow. I didn't even know that she was sometimes having to dry heavy items twice, so I'm glad he did a basic check for us. Sadly, he doesn't clean vents, so I'll have to find someone else, but I'm glad he pointed it out so my mother understood. All in all, couldn't ask for a better experience read more

This may be an unfair review, as I wasn't able to use their services. However, I felt this was more than warranted and a green flag for others considering using Liberty Appliance. I have a nightmare scenario with my current repair company, and I wanted to see what options, if any, exist, as my Thermador is not a brand that most companies will service. I decided, hey, might as well shop around, and if I get a "No", then it's better than not asking at all. Liberty was the first place I called, given the high rating and number of positive reviews. Sadly, they neither service Thermadors nor my area (just outside of range). But the woman I spoke to was incredibly pleasant and helpful. She gave a suggestion on a company that might help, as well as a plumbing company I can contact that she highly trusts. I asked that, if I were to replace these dishwashers (I have two, and if one failed in this way, the other is going to fail soon as well, and I don't want to go through this hell again), what she would recommend. She spent extra time with me and gave me her feedback. This was so welcome to hear, as it was a complete 180 of who I was talking to at Capital City. So, I can't speak for their repair techs, process, or whatever. But I can speak for the agent that that helped me, and I really, really wish I could have gone with their services just based on my experience with her alone. read more

Liberty Appliance Service is absolutely fantastic! I highly recommend them to service your appliances. I called them to repair my dryer because it stopped working. The belt had broken on the drum where it wouldn't turn. Jamie was the technician who came out to fix it and he replaced the broken belt, the rollers, and the pulley system. I then sprung on him while he was here that my washer was acting up and he did a quick look at it and ran a quick diagnostic on it because he had other service calls after me and couldn't dive deeper into it. He got the office to call me to set up an appointment for later in the week so he could have time to dive deeper to find out what was going on with it. It turned out I needed to have the main board replaced and they ordered that. He came back and replaced the board and ran tests to make sure the board and washer functioned properly. So, I will test it out on my next wash day but I feel confident that it will be working properly the next time I wash. Jamie was very knowledgeable when it came to diagnosing and fixing both my washer and dryer and he was very nice. The office is very nice, too. They kept me up to date on everything and always called me when Jamie was on his way. Definitely 5 stars!! read more

I have been looking for a "go To" appliance repair company and Liberty is definitely it. I submitted a request on line during Easter weekend and received a call on Monday morning. I scheduled an appointment and got a call 20 minutes before Jamie arrived. He thoroughly diagnosed our dryer and made the necessary repair and also rectified an installation issue from years ago that was bothering me. Jamie came out twice, once for diagnostics and the second time to install the replacement part on our stove. Jamie showed up during the hours window scheduled. He was very thorough in his assessment of the problem with her stove. He thought he had all the repair materials necessary but ended up lacking one item and went after it so that the repair would be complete and no call backs necessary. He was very cautious in not scratching the wood floor moving the stove out to be able to work on the appliance. As he went through the assessment he made sure what was determined to be the problem was the ONLY problem and didn't hide any other possible issues, very thorough.... His rate was fair and he did not mess around in the way he went about his work. I would strongly call Liberty for any future appliance concerns and have recommended him to our Niece for a stove issue she has.... Good Guy!!!! Very capable. read more
