He said they would take care of it and to go to the High St location. Upon taking it there, they were reluctant to repair it but said they could once they got the part. After weeks of not hearing, I called and they didn't return my call. I called again and they said they were waiting for parts. After another 10 days of not hearing, I contacted the vacuum manufacturer directly and they confirmed no parts were ordered. I just worked directly with the manufacturer and another vacuum repair shop to get it done in a week. Beware of working with Carmen's!

We've even referred friends + relatives to them (high praise). Our salesman Chad Schirtzinger, his sales manager Chrissy Boasetti, and their fabrication + installation manager Toney Curry were all wonderful to work with - knowledgeable, professional, fair, reasonable, and genuinely nice. They have a big selection of slabs, and a huge room of remnants they can fabricate for smaller jobs, too. We weren't planning to, but found a rem to upgrade the countertop in a half-bath, too. This install was big and challenging - it took 3 huge slabs of matching Quartzite for a giant island and a full-height wall backsplash behind the stove. It took 8 strong men to carry and set the big island slab - I promise we were holding our breath the whole time they were carrying it in. There were a few small hiccups - that's going to happen with a big and complicated job like this. They fixed everything to our satisfaction - no hesitation, no complaints, no problem - they consistently "did the right thing" (which is refreshing and somewhat unusual these days). We kept changing our minds in the design process, and they handled our ideas and frequent changes with expert guidance, kindness and grace. AND... because hard surfaces aren't cheap, and Quartzite is quite expensive (2.5x-3x the cost of granite) - their prices were fair, fair, fair. They were fully 1/3 cheaper than another well-known granite fabricator I've spent a LOT of money with in the past (and never will again). The Granite Guy's prices were fair and reasonable for what we got. I cannot say this strongly enough - we recommend The Granite Guy 100%. 1,000%. 10,000%. Our customer experience with them was awesome and what you'd hope for, their prices were fair, the people are awesome, and we got exactly what we wanted at a price that didn't feel like we were being ripped off (if I show you the quote we got from "those other guys", you'll understand what I mean). This project transformed our kitchen, and our entire home. I've attached pix - check them out. Everyone loves our kitchen now. Thank you, The Granite Guy - you're a classy company full of classy people who understand customer service for a big, scary, expensive project. Ok...got there at the appropriate time and my sales person Stephanie was with another customer. I figured she was just finishing up. I ended up waiting 40 minutes. In hindsight should have walked out! I had to finally tell the bookkeeper I was waiting, and have her relay the message. I placed an order for a product and scheduled another appointment (as she had another customer waiting) to add to the bath remodel and consider everything else I needed through Kohler. Another item I was considering I asked if I could call in to buy. So I called to confirm and pay by phone, to get ahead of shipping time. Had to leave a voicemail for a callback. Got the callback quickly to take the payment. (Spent about $3,900.00 by this time on the two products.)The receipt was to be emailed to me. Also needed shower and faucet fixtures and wanted to order them in person, reason for my next appointment, since there wasn't time on the first or second appointment. Called and left a message for a return call as I hadn't received my receipt and was trying to schedule another appointment. Left two messages on a Thursday morning, but call No back by Monday! I finally had to call the showroom manager, and leave another voicemail, for a call back from her. No one that answers the phone can do anything but transfer you to a voicemail! She called back and emailed the recipient. Now...picking two products up after they came in. Go to 'pick up and delivery' for two items...was/is the next hurdle! Got one item that I could fit into my SUV, but the other item (15x60) was on a skid, and (suggested for product safety, needed our truck to get it. Sent my husband to pick it up today and when he comes home says,"I could have gotten this in the SUV!" Well they gave him the WRONG item! Now they are... "trying to figure out what happened". Called the showroom manager, AGAIN and had to leave another message AGAIN! Asked who the overall store manager was and was told "the owner and he is out of town till Wednesday". This is Monday. No idea what they are having such a hard time getting an answer and getting my product is about! Sure took the payments on a heart beat! I finally ordered the fixtures from Robertson's heating and plumbing supply, Moen. Smooth process, Brooklyn my salesperson was excellent. Took time to make sure I had exactly what I wanted and needed, She checked the order when it came in to make sure it was all there. Took 5 days to come in. I also found a product at Ferguson's that was sent to my house in two days! Bathworks has been a nightmare to deal with! I will say, Josh in the shipping department has been trying to figure out what is going on. If you're not working with a large contractor (this is a small gut remodel with a one person contractor) I think the sales department discounts you as a customer, or they are just inept! Kohler may want to rethink Bathworks as a distributor. If I could give them less than one star I would!
