This review only covers their liquid nitrogen watermelon sorbet @ Sowa market…read more SO COOL. Literally and figuratively. Who would've thought you could see liquid nitrogen dessert @ a low key food truck market like Sowa? I didn't. Anything involving food + liquid nitrogen is usually a thing of upscale establishments. My friend and I were so ecstatic to see such a sight and offering for only $6. No preservatives added. Just straight up scoops from a watermelon and a couple dribbles of simple sugar syrup (water and cane sugar). Blend that. Then in goes the liquid nitrogen from a hole in the blender. We all watch with childhood excitement at the white puffs of smoke flowing out. It's a rumbling watermelon volcano in the making and great visually and tactilely for people of all ages. Refreshingly cold with the flavoring of watermelon purely intact, by far the coolest and healthiest dessert I've had :)

Stumbled upon the Sowa Market on a Sunday afternoon filled with food trucks and vendors. I already…read moreknew this was the truck to look for thanks to a review I read on Yelp. The watermelon sorbet is $6 (cash, credit card accepted). They also serve pizza there if anyone's interested. The watermelon sorbet is freshly scooped out of a half-watermelon, added sugar syrup, and liquid nitrogen. The magic happens when the guy adds in the liquid nitrogen. He's also very friendly and willing to wait and pose for pictures. The sorbet texture is amazing.. smooth with just the right amount of sweets. For those who are wondering (and people did ask at the market).. yes, it tastes exactly like watermelon.

Cousins Maine Lobster is a chain of food trucks with multiple sit down restaurants across the US,…read moreand this particular truck travels around East and Central Massachusetts. We spotted it at a local stop and decided to grab a quick seafood meal without committing to a full sit down restaurant. The menu is centered around lobster in just about every form imaginable, from rolls and bisque to tacos and grilled cheese, making it a convenient option when the truck happens to be nearby. We ordered the lobster roll and clam chowder. The lobster roll was good overall, though it came out a little smaller than expected given the price. The lobster itself leaned more toward claw meat rather than the larger tail pieces some people associate with a traditional New England lobster roll. The flavor was still solid, with fresh tasting lobster throughout, but the roll came with less butter than we anticipated, resulting in a lighter and less rich presentation than we were hoping for. The clam chowder ended up being the stronger of the two items. It was creamy without being overly heavy, with a good balance of clams and potatoes, and worked especially well alongside the lobster roll. Together they made for a satisfying meal that delivered the classic seafood combination most people are looking for from a lobster focused stop. The experience here is ultimately about convenience and consistency. When the truck is nearby, it offers an easy way to grab a lobster roll and chowder without making a trip to the coast. The prices reflect the reality of lobster, but for a quick seafood fix on the go, it gets the job done.

8/10 Maine lobster roll was good. Good flavor, toasted bun. Decent amount of meat…read more 7/10 The lobster quesadillas, good in flavor! Not too soggy, proper cheese to lobster ratio. Properly selected cheese complimented the flavor of the lobster. 2/10 Shrimp tacos were a joke, the shrimp was minuscule and tasted like they had been fried then sitting for days. I thought I was being pranked. I couldn't believe it. I wanted my money back for them. But didn't even bother. If they fix the shrimp the potential is there, not sure it's shrimp? Never seen or had shrimp like this before.

I recommend the quesadilla or burrito. It is such a CUTE restaurant. The trash can is even aesthetic (love the barrel moment) my favorite spot is the high top table. It's PERFECT. If I was stranded on an island FOREVER I'd want their guacamole for the REST OF MY LIFE. This is my FAVORITE restaurant. Even the CUSTOMERS are nice and the vibes are immaculate. If you're EVER in the area, you NEED to go to La Victoria. It's the BEST RESTAURANT in Boston and their burritos WILL be my wedding cake #2027Bride. That's right, I NEED their burritos for my wedding cake. And I LOVE their marinated chicken. It is to DIE FOR. I would rather eat ONE quesadilla with cheese and marinated chicken than marry my high school sweetheart next march (#2027bride) or even MEET SABRINA CARPENTER. If you are EVER in the area, GO TO THIS PLACE. It is the only thing that keeps our area HAPPY. That AND Dunkin. They should Collab! If you're seeing this La Victoria, COLLAB WITH DUNKIN PLEASE!!! This is THE BEST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. I EAT IT AT LEAST 4 times a month. It is affordable, the service is great, the employees are so nice, the food is worth a billion dollars, the ambiance is perfect. Let's just say, I love this place more than I love my fiance! I love La Victoria!

Food was extremely fast and the cashiers and cooks are just polite and very friendly and welcoming. There was a miscommunication with one of the order, but there was no big deal here -- they fixed it quickly without making it a big deal. They even let us keep the one that was made by mistake. Great attitudes and views on running business. (Other places, they rather not give it to customers for whatever reasons...) All good here. No complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend La Victoria Taqueria!
