As a non-Wisconsin....the idea of a supper club was interesting to me. I'm so glad we got to come to this one. We walked in and immediately were thrown to the bar to order drinks which, rad. I'm not usually a drinker on work trips but they had root beer on tap which was honestly fantastic. They sat us pretty quickly, and service was great all night. When I saw there is something for everyone, there truly is. Their menu is huge. And they'll make you potatoes any way you want. We all shared a few appetizers which were all bomb. Always love a good cheese curd. Dinner was great. Anything fried you want, they have it. Chicken was tender. Sides were tasty. It had been a number of years since we last visited the Holy land and went to this restaurant. After a solid experience (actually 4.5 stars) we will return in a more timely manner. Even on a busy Saturday night, we easily found parking in their large lot. We entered the packed bar and followed the time honored tradition of checking in our party with our helpful bartender. We learned to set up our menus when we were ready to order. That put us in a prime position to order drinks. We ordered drinks before dinner and returned after dinner for a dessert drink. In both cases the drinks were well made and reasonably priced. When we were sat for our meal, there was a relish tray. It was enough for our party but looked silly on the oversized tray. Being a salad bar fan, I missed it. However, the soup of the day was very good. Those who had salads were satisfied by the size and quality of the salad. Our group exclusively picked off the combo menu. The portions were nice sized and everyone said their meal was appropriately hot. The ribeye was well seasoned and cooked as ordered. The homemade rib sauce was tangy and complimented the fall-off-the-bone ribs. The chicken was also tasty. This is a very traditional supper club. Those who seek out traditional clubs will truly enjoy this place. We did and will definitely return. read more

Good bar and ambiance. Ordered chicken and ribs. Chicken was served barely warm and the ribs were cold. Ribs had been boiled and painted with BBQ sauce, no flavor. Once food was served we did not see a server to send food to be heated up or ask for additional napkins. I finally went to the server station and got the napkins myself. read more

Tonight we had an enjoyable dinner at Blanck's Supper Club. I enjoyed the New York Strip with the cheesies. The service was nice, the bar tender was attentive and the decor was Wisconsin chic (deer heads, sturgeon and other taxidermied wildlife.). I would definitely give it another shot. read more

I expected greatness. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was 5 small shrimps - like the kind you get in that holiday shrimp ring from Aldi's. I wanted giant shrimp! This wasn't it. Black olives mushy, rolls looked out of package, small baked potato. Steak was decent - for $22 it wasn't too bad but the rest was kind of weak. I've been to a lot of Wisconsin Supper Clubs but this falls in the middle of the road. Not outstanding to come again but not awful to never go again. We sat at the bar for 1 hr. This establishment makes you put your menu upright when you are ready to order food. We were the 1st of 10 menus put up at the bar and the LAST one served. We love a good supper club. Having been out of town a lot lately and very unexpectedly, the one thing I've loved is being able to explore and find a good supper club in the area. Blanck's is one of the best. We started at the bar with some old fashioned and place our order. Once our food was close to ready we were seated and brought our salads, apps, and bread. The apps were so good! Best mozzarella sticks I've had in a while. We then got our meals - a couple prime ribs, pork ribs, broasted chicken, and cheesy potatoes. Everything was delicious - esp the potatos! Omg. We ordered pie and a grasshopper for dessert - the pie wasn't my favorite but the grasshopper was delish! When friends from Chicogo wanted to go to a "supper club, Wisconsin tradition, we decided on this place along the shores of Lake Winnebago The bar was full but there was seating in the dinning when we arrived, but quickly filled up at just before 6pm My prime rim was huge done just right, rare, did I say the prime rib was huge as well as a seasoned edge. Great place, great food! Kay was our amazing server. Had the house salad with fresh ranch dressing. Why does restaurant ranch taste so dang good?! Also had the broccoli cauliflower cheese soup. Delicious! Ordered the 8 oz tenderloin. Omg, that was amazing! Had a great flavorful char on the outside. It came with a side of cheesies and aujus. Blanck's is one of my favorite restaurants I've ever been to! The food and service is great, along with funny waitresses. It's also wheelchair accessible with a ramp in front. During Christmas time the setting is beautiful. For food i would recommend the 1/4 pound burger or even the frog legs! This Blanck's is great but the Blanks Lake Aire was a no for me and my family. The food was pretty bad and there were flies everywhere. So if you want to go to Blanck's go to the one in Malone, not the fdl one. read more

Stopped for nice dinner with the family the week between Christmas and New Year's...lifelong Wisconsin resident...been coming to Blanck's for over 30 years...never have I been more disappointed with a Wisconsin owned restaurant than last night. Ordered the Blank's Special medium (see photo of 3rd attempt)...manager tells me the steak is cooked medium ("their medium" he tells me) with no other offer to make it right or discount the bill...I paid full price for raw meat. Menu says family owned for over 60 years, they won't make another 60. You're better off going to Schwarz's in Kiel, or Roepke's in Charlesburg...they can cook a steak correctly. read more

Went out with some friends tonight, had reservations for 7:00. We were seated promptly with friendly staff working all around. Clean establishment, friendly, timely service, fairly priced. I got the tenderloin and shrimp.....tenderloin was done to my liking (medium rare), the shrimp had too much minced garlic in the butter (personal preference), but seemed a little too tough when I ate them. "Stick with what you know." This is a genre of restaurant that has been around the rural areas in Wisconsin for generations. They know good food and how to serve it. The food is meat, seafood, side sishes in almost endless combinations. Prime Rib is outstanding and the "Blanck's Special" is a steak taken from the "small side" of the porterhouse. This is what is usually called a tenderloin steak by others. Theirs is very flavorful and you are able to order it with multiple steaks. One of the people I dined with got a 4-piece and took 3 home! Ribeyes, t-bones, pork chops, pork ribs and many chicken choices abound in the menu as well. There are extensive seafood choices as well and their combination dinners allow you to pair virtually any of the various steaks with shrimp, scallops, lobster (broiled or "french fried"), broiled haddock, frogs legs and many others. You will not be disappointed. Part of the supper club experience is that that is the "night out", so they are setup to handle large crowds without reservations. But you should expect a wait for a table on the weekends as they do a very good business. Come in, peruse the menu, order in the bar and they will let you know when your table is ready. I ate here last night and was very pleased. I had the queen cut prime rib (which when it arrived looked like the king cut) medium rare, baked potato and salad. The hostess pre took my order since I arrived before the dining room opened. The salad was very fresh and the ranch dressing was very good too. The prime rib arrived and I thought they goofed up my order. I ordered the medium size cut and it appeared they gave me the large. No complaints there! The prime rib and baked potato were delicious! The steak was cooked correctly and my waitress was very attentive. I could not have been more pleased. Rosie was my bartender and she was very friendly and excellent at what she does!! One of the great traditions of northern Wisconsin German culture is the supper club. Blanck's holds a special place in my heart as I have been going here since I was able to eat solid food. I grew up a mere 3 miles from Blanck's, and my parents are still there. It's location is one of those quintessential Wisconsin towns. The church is directly across the street, the local pub is next door, and the baseball diamond is at the end of the street. The menu at Blanck's is extensive and meat-heavy. Steak, poultry, seafood and probably other things like duck, pheasant, frog, etc. This isn't 5-star dining, and it wouldn't be a supper club if it was. You go here to experience small-town hospitality and gather with family and friends. Everyone there knows everyone else, or they know your dad or your grandpa. It is a mix of young, old and elderly...my grandparents had a standing Friday night reservation for years. They do take reservations, especially if you have a large group (as is usually the case with my family), but you can just walk in. Talk to the bartender, and enjoy a drink at the bar before your table is ready. I've only been able to go here about once a year since I moved to Milwaukee, but I always look forward to it. Wednesday a buddy and I wanted to try someplace different so we chose blancks. The place was just opening up so we had a couple drinks at the bar. The bar was clean and the drinks were reasonable. The menu had a lot more variety than than the other supper clubs in the area and the food was priced better than shwartzs and idlewile. The fries were cold, although that was my mistake I should have ordered a baked potato. Hard to go wrong there. A family favorite. Whenever I come home from school, my family takes at least one trip to Blanck's. It's especially nice on week nights when the bar is open (Blanck's can get extremely busy Friday and Saturday nights). I can personally recommend the Blanck's Special when ordering steak, the ham steak, and the grilled chicken breast. Blanck's is a great place to go if you're looking to have an old fashion and spend quality time with family with delicious food in front of you.
