Tonight we had an enjoyable dinner at Blanck's Supper Club. I enjoyed the New York Strip with the cheesies. The service was nice, the bar tender was attentive and the decor was Wisconsin chic (deer heads, sturgeon and other taxidermied wildlife.). I would definitely give it another shot.

We love a good supper club. Having been out of town a lot lately and very unexpectedly, the one thing I've loved is being able to explore and find a good supper club in the area. Blanck's is one of the best. We started at the bar with some old fashioned and place our order. Once our food was close to ready we were seated and brought our salads, apps, and bread. The apps were so good! Best mozzarella sticks I've had in a while. We then got our meals - a couple prime ribs, pork ribs, broasted chicken, and cheesy potatoes. Everything was delicious - esp the potatos! Omg. We ordered pie and a grasshopper for dessert - the pie wasn't my favorite but the grasshopper was delish! If you're in the area or just trying out supper clubs, check this one out!

When friends from Chicogo wanted to go to a "supper club, Wisconsin tradition, we decided on this place along the shores of Lake Winnebago The bar was full but there was seating in the dinning when we arrived, but quickly filled up at just before 6pm My prime rim was huge done just right, rare, did I say the prime rib was huge as well as a seasoned edge. The ribs got a good from my friend. Wait staff was very friendly and very prompt. I like Wisconsin beers but my choice was a bit flat from the the tap. The waitress then said "well we're better on our Old Fashions, " so I settled for a bottled beer, I'm not a brandy person. The steaks were "bad ass" as my other Friend said

Great place, great food! Kay was our amazing server. Had the house salad with fresh ranch dressing. Why does restaurant ranch taste so dang good?! Also had the broccoli cauliflower cheese soup. Delicious! Ordered the 8 oz tenderloin. Omg, that was amazing! Had a great flavorful char on the outside. It came with a side of cheesies and aujus. Hash brown potatoes with cheese, onions and corn flakes.. Delicious! They have the biggest bowl of butter pats I have ever seen!!!! What a great meal and experience. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped for nice dinner with the family the week between Christmas and New Year's...lifelong Wisconsin resident...been coming to Blanck's for over 30 years...never have I been more disappointed with a Wisconsin owned restaurant than last night. Ordered the Blank's Special medium (see photo of 3rd attempt)...manager tells me the steak is cooked medium ("their medium" he tells me) with no other offer to make it right or discount the bill...I paid full price for raw meat. Menu says family owned for over 60 years, they won't make another 60. You're better off going to Schwarz's in Kiel, or Roepke's in Charlesburg...they can cook a steak correctly.

"Stick with what you know." This is a genre of restaurant that has been around the rural areas in Wisconsin for generations. They know good food and how to serve it. The food is meat, seafood, side sishes in almost endless combinations. Prime Rib is outstanding and the "Blanck's Special" is a steak taken from the "small side" of the porterhouse. This is what is usually called a tenderloin steak by others. Theirs is very flavorful and you are able to order it with multiple steaks. One of the people I dined with got a 4-piece and took 3 home! Ribeyes, t-bones, pork chops, pork ribs and many chicken choices abound in the menu as well. There are extensive seafood choices as well and their combination dinners allow you to pair virtually any of the various steaks with shrimp, scallops, lobster (broiled or "french fried"), broiled haddock, frogs legs and many others. You will not be disappointed. Part of the supper club experience is that that is the "night out", so they are setup to handle large crowds without reservations. But you should expect a wait for a table on the weekends as they do a very good business. Come in, peruse the menu, order in the bar and they will let you know when your table is ready. The bar is large and the drinks well-poured - so come with a freind so you can visit and enjoy good conversation as you wait.

I reviewed close to 30 places to find the perfect spot that could accommodate up to 150 people and check all the boxes we were looking for. They hit the mark on all. The second floor and roof top more than handled our group. The space was free with a set minimal spend. And they met the budget. It allowed for an amazing buffet with fantastic food. Allowed us to utilize audio and visual as well as have our requested raffle table and check in table for name tags and mini gifts and ability to use directory boards and more. They are simply amazing and I would highly recommend them for your next event. I was a tough requester and have to say they not only met but exceeded on all avenues. The staff also was amazing - shout out to Christian, Wes, and Gabi and Dom. I really liked the mashed potatoes, very flavorful!! However, I'm pulling from my own inner Gordon Ramsay here- the Shepard Pie should be LAMB not beef and it should have veggies within. If you pay more you can get corn, bacon and cheese added. But where are the peas and carrots? Maybe that's a Wisconsin expectation? It did not taste different than the Pot Roast which came with broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots as well as two large scoops of potatoes. Being downtown the price is reasonable around $25/person with a drink, but portions are small. Luckily I don't eat much in a single setting. Our waiter Alex was good, moderately attentive, and generally took care of our needs. The overall volume was excessive making conversation difficult.
