Tonight we had an enjoyable dinner at Blanck's Supper Club. I enjoyed the New York Strip with the cheesies. The service was nice, the bar tender was attentive and the decor was Wisconsin chic (deer heads, sturgeon and other taxidermied wildlife.). I would definitely give it another shot.

We love a good supper club. Having been out of town a lot lately and very unexpectedly, the one thing I've loved is being able to explore and find a good supper club in the area. Blanck's is one of the best. We started at the bar with some old fashioned and place our order. Once our food was close to ready we were seated and brought our salads, apps, and bread. The apps were so good! Best mozzarella sticks I've had in a while. We then got our meals - a couple prime ribs, pork ribs, broasted chicken, and cheesy potatoes. Everything was delicious - esp the potatos! Omg. We ordered pie and a grasshopper for dessert - the pie wasn't my favorite but the grasshopper was delish! If you're in the area or just trying out supper clubs, check this one out!

When friends from Chicogo wanted to go to a "supper club, Wisconsin tradition, we decided on this place along the shores of Lake Winnebago The bar was full but there was seating in the dinning when we arrived, but quickly filled up at just before 6pm My prime rim was huge done just right, rare, did I say the prime rib was huge as well as a seasoned edge. The ribs got a good from my friend. Wait staff was very friendly and very prompt. I like Wisconsin beers but my choice was a bit flat from the the tap. The waitress then said "well we're better on our Old Fashions, " so I settled for a bottled beer, I'm not a brandy person. The steaks were "bad ass" as my other Friend said

Great place, great food! Kay was our amazing server. Had the house salad with fresh ranch dressing. Why does restaurant ranch taste so dang good?! Also had the broccoli cauliflower cheese soup. Delicious! Ordered the 8 oz tenderloin. Omg, that was amazing! Had a great flavorful char on the outside. It came with a side of cheesies and aujus. Hash brown potatoes with cheese, onions and corn flakes.. Delicious! They have the biggest bowl of butter pats I have ever seen!!!! What a great meal and experience. Can't wait to go back!

Stopped for nice dinner with the family the week between Christmas and New Year's...lifelong Wisconsin resident...been coming to Blanck's for over 30 years...never have I been more disappointed with a Wisconsin owned restaurant than last night. Ordered the Blank's Special medium (see photo of 3rd attempt)...manager tells me the steak is cooked medium ("their medium" he tells me) with no other offer to make it right or discount the bill...I paid full price for raw meat. Menu says family owned for over 60 years, they won't make another 60. You're better off going to Schwarz's in Kiel, or Roepke's in Charlesburg...they can cook a steak correctly.

I must say the Blanck's cut of steak was amazing! Almost cut it with a butter knife- and the flavor was perfect- wish it was closer to us !-

Reasonably large portions which were fairly tasty. Good, cheap drinks. Giant 130 pound sturgeon mounted on the wall.

Once you make it to the table, salads, rolls, and a relish tray are already waiting for you (the cheesy rolls are the best) and the food comes quick. We get the sirloin for two every time, and when I say it could feed a family of 4 with extras, I'm not kidding. The steak is always cooked perfectly. Flavor is great and we always leave with left overs to feed us for the following days to come. Price is very reasonable and one of the reasons we keep coming back! I cannot recommend this supper club enough!

What's…read moreeven better is that for a local watering hole, if your party is big enough they'll actually take a reservation, al biet, it will probably be outside, but still no waiting is a win, especially on a Friday night!! I was going to get the fish fry but my partner decided to get the walleye, so I swerved to the prime rib. Which, spoiler, even with the princess cut, is MASSIVE. Include the salad and soup for the table, you will not leave hungry- that's for sure. The bartenders are super friendly and will give you a great pour with some good conversation. Overall, I enjoyed this spot greatly. It's a solid dinner with friends and family that just makes your heart happy.

Outside bar took 15 minutes to get a drink (due to people there for Saturday music). Band speakers were loud + loud people talking over band (horrible band by the way), at 6:30 we were moved inside. Wait staff took our order and ordered the potato skin fries as an appetizer and our meals. Took 30 minutes for salads to appear but no appetizer. Was told the kitchen forgot and they would be out in 10 minutes. 20 minutes later cancelled appetizer. At 7:30 talked to owner to complain about wait time for food (60 minutes so far) and was told "we're very busy we have 150 people outside " (and then huffed off since we complained) maybe yea drinking your alcohol but not eating. Finally at 7:45 our food came. My 2 piece of deep fried chicken looked like it came from a deep fat fryer fire and even smelled burnt. You could actually use the leg as a nail hammer!! No apologies or nothing from ownership. Another issue is the "150" people coming in from the rain to use the bathrooms was not acceptable in our minds. If you're gonna have music outside, get portable potties.

A few things to note, their cocktail menu is amusing because their specialty drinks mostly seem to be five different standard recipes with slightly different preparations to turn them into Mojitos or spritzes or margaritas. Do you want something with blueberries? Pick your preparation. All of them are too sweet. Their peanut butter crème brûlée was tasty, but doesn't really qualify as a crème brûlée. It was basically a runny, peanut butter flavored almost pudding. Their pizzas were really good though. Frankly, I was most surprised by the ambience. For a place that looks so big from the outside. It seemed really cramped inside I walked around all of the seating areas and it was the same everywhere. While they bill themselves as being on the water, you really can't see the water from any seat in the house from what I observed, even if you're out on the deck, which is terribly uncomfortable in July. We actually were seated at possibly the worst table in the house. In a back corner behind the first floor bar next to a window that only showed you the backside of another building and a sliver of grass. The upstairs seating is truly undesirable because they've converted an area that wasn't meant to have tables in. It is super cramped up there and also everywhere on the first floor. The only place with a little bit of elbow room is the deck. You know a place is to cramped when the servers have to negotiate moving between tables to avoid patrons and other servers.
