Had never been before and employee just stared at us and didn't explain anything and seemed genuinely unhappy. Bathroom was in the worst condition of any we've seen. We returned here after about six years and I will start by saying that the pizza is just as good as before. It is assembly line, make-what-you-want pizza, and thus for the most part it will taste as good or as bad as you want. (No cucumbers!) The staff were friendly, and though we waited in line about 10-15 minutes from start to finish to get our pizza it never really seemed that long. Perhaps that is because you can watch the action as you wait. However, they lose a star because the facility is worn out. It is dark and the music is loud. Several of the tables I looked at were dirty, and the one we sat at rocked a lot (and not like a Springsteen concert). The garbage containers were overflowing. Worse, the hall by the public bathrooms were filthy, the flooring was chipped, and the it just wasn't a nice place to be in. Does this effect the food? Probably not. But, serving tens of thousands of college students has taken its toll on the place and it needs a refresh. Still good pizza, but not a great atmosphere. read more

I was very satisfied with the quality of the food for the most part, the pizza was delicious but burnt at times. My main complaint was the service, it seems that these employees judge your every move, each of them made a comment about me ordering a large quantity of food for my group. We ordered 2 simple cheese pies and 1 pie with broccoli topping. The crust was delicious, the pies were hot, and the broccoli topping was quite generous. Had a really great lunch at Blaze Pizza today. The pizza was absolutely delicious! The best part was that it was fully customizable with a wide variety of toppings and ingredients to choose from. However, it took an unusually long time to get our food, something in the neighborhood of 30 minutes or so. While I understand that quality takes time, it's a pizza joint, not a formal restaurant, so the wait seemed excessive. Someone mentioned that the staff might have been new, and if so, it definitely affected the effiency of the service. But despite the longer than expected wait, the pizza was pretty awesome. Everyone in our party loved it. The flavors and the quality of the ingredients were outstanding and it ultimately made up for the ridiculous wait time. Overall, I would rate Blaze Pizza 4 stars. Unfortunately one of the worst Blazers locations I've ever been. This was all about service or lack there of. I can't tell if they hate the boss or lacked training or just were all having a bad day. We lined up ordered. So far so good. Then we should be paying and awaiting the food. Nothing happens for 5 mins. Then 10. I can see at least 7 ppl walking around working. But only pizza chef by oven is working hard. Everyone else is going slow motion or doesn't know what they are doing. Very disappointed. We ended up getting pizza but it was meh. I love Blaze, it's the one place I can get what feels like "real pizza" for me (love their white sauce) since I can't have tomato. This location has never been spotless - the ingredient bar needed to be cleaned off more often and a constant problem with fruit flies by the drink station. We haven't been there in at least 6 mos, and walking in last night gave me pause because it didn't smell great right in the door. Then the ingredient counter was filthy, it was about 6, not busy, but picking up (3 people waiting on pizzas, no pizzas at first in the waiting rack, but then they were starting to fill them with online orders). The counter was so covered in food I have a hard time thinking it was just from the lunch rush. I talked myself out of leaving because I really wanted that pizza but I'm not sure I'll be back. If you're going to do fast food pizza, this is the way to do it. I've been meaning to try blaze for quite a while. This is quite the popular place! We got there just at the right time because a large line started to form after we placed our orders. So this is the the chipotle of pizza. I approached the counter, flooded with options of crust, sauce, cheese, toppings, oh my! I was a bit overwhelmed, but the employee behind the counter was friendly to help. I am happy I came once, and I think we'll be back soon. I made a few mistakes and I would love to return to try and make my perfect pizza. And that's the fun of it. You make your own pizza and they quickly cook it in a hot oven. We went from ordering to eating in about 5 minutes, even when it was busy. For my tastes, I did pesto, ricotta, mozz, salami, garlic, basil, seasoning. I think I'd switch it up a little next time. I love salami on pizza so that was great. The roasted garlic cloves were delicious. I missed the option of final toppings. I would have added something at the end, so don't be a fool like me and have your dining partner get your pizza for you. You wanna go up and get some finishing touches. I ordered food from your establishment on Stuyvesant plaza location. I placed an order online and said it would be ready at 7:27 p.m. I get there at 7:37 p.m. Food is not ready. I was heartbroken after eating from Blaze Pizza this afternoon. My coworker told me about Their pizza and said that it was really delicious, so, I gave it a try. When it came, the pizza was cold the garlic knots were cold too- burnt on the outside and the inside it was Doughy and undercooked. I'm just overall disappointed that I had to pay for this cold food but I gave them two stars. One for the fact that the crust on the pizza was delicious, and, I also gave it another star for having the build-your- own pizza option with the ingredients and toppings that I like. So, foolishly I ordered from blaze pizza again today because I wanted to give them another chance. I ordered the garlic cheesey knots and the same personal pizza as the day before. We went and bought 5 pizzas for the family and the customer service was horrible, the place was dirty, and our food was burnt. The line was practically out the door, and not because the employees were backed up, they were just really unorganized and doing everything out of order. They are also extremely rude and unprofessional. They dismiss concerns about orders and yell at you if you ask about your order or raise food safety concerns due to receiving lukewarm/cold food. Today a worker tried to bully me into accepting a COLD pizza that had been sitting out for an undetermined amount of time, likely an hour according to the app. He accused me of being "entitled" and "impatient" for being concerned that my second pizza in the order was coming out an hour later! Had to correct staff twice while building the pizza as they kept switching our order with the person in front of us. When we got to the register to pay, we stood there for five minutes and had to ask to be checked out and given cups for beverages. When our name was called for the order, they AGAIN switched the pizza with person in front of us. We pointed this out as the cold toppings were being added and TYLER, the MANAGER, pinned the blame on us as customers for "mixing up the order". We explained what had happened down the line, but he continued to place blame on us, the customers. A fellow employee told us Tyler is up for regional manager. I was stumped for something to eat but with the heat we're experiencing, nothing too heavy. I found this place. The fact that it received 100% in its health grade, meant I had to try it. I got the twofer. Cheesy bread & their berry salad which was fresh greens with strawberries & blueberries and feta cheese. The dressing was a vinaigrette. Delicious! The cheese bread would have been an ace in the hole if there was a pinch of garlic. It was a little plain. Next time I go I will ask for it. The people were nice & fun. Stopped in for a custom made pizza today. I was impressed by how clean the restaurant was and that says well managed.
