Its definitely worth the hype! We started with the Buffalo rolls, they were super crispy and delicious; they're also served with a very creamy homemade blue cheese. Their pizzas are fantastic and fresh too. I saw a few salads pass the table and willl be trying one in the future! Not incredibly huge inside, but it isnt tight either. Service was efficient and Rylee our server was friendly and attentitive. Only slight downfall is that I feel the vodka cutlet should come with pasta, it used too, but it is what it is!Didn't try a cocktail, but I will next time as well!

I am in town visiting friends. We stopped here to check out their Ice Bar and have dinner after. I loved the atmosphere of their outside bar. They had a bar with pre-made drinks as well as a TV to watch the Olympics. To stay warm, they had fire pits and outside heaters. It was fantastic! When our reservation was ready, we went inside to have dinner. I loved the vibe of the restaurant! It was warm and welcoming. Our server was fabulous and went over and beyond when I shared my food allergies. They were able to accommodate my dietary needs. To drink I had a chocolate covered raspberry martini. To eat I had a bacon cheeseburger with a side ceasar salad. It was delicious! I highly recommend you check this place out!

Came on a weekday evening with reservations for a party of 5 and were seated right on time! Parking was easy and decor is on point. My party ordered quite a few drinks off their drink menu and they were tasty and strong. We shared the Brussel sprouts and garlic knots and I'm still thinking about them! We also had the bad burrata, Napoli and spinach pies on 3 of their different crusts. I would order them all again but am excited to try other things on the menu. Can't wait to go back when the weather is nice to enjoy their outdoor space.

Recently visited Anthony by Romo's with some friends after hearing rave reviews since their opening. It definitely lived up to the hype. We decided to share some appetizers and two pizzas. Unless you really want an entree, I think ordering and sharing with the table is the best way to go. Here is what we ordered: Bad Burrata: cup n chat pepperoni, burrata cheese, Romano and hot honey King Cutlet: chicken cutlet, vodka sauce, Romano and fresh basil Fried Mozzarella Truffle Fries Espresso Martini The king cutlet was a grandmas style which I wasn't familiar with. It's a thin crust pan pizza and was sturdier than I was expecting. I normally like my espresso martini's black but the one here was so good. Creamy but not overly sweet. The only thing I might not get again is the truffle fries. They didn't have too much flavor and were dry.

So nice I've gone back twice! Anthony's is a fabulous choice for a date night or casual meet up. It's currently decorated for the holidays and it has the best cozy vibes! Their speciality pizzas are a MUST as they definitely play into trendy pizza toppings such as hot honey, burrata, pepperoni cups, and even chicken cutlets! Wow! You get a lot of food for the price, and the service has been amazing the two times I went. Can't wait to go back and try more speciality pizzas.

Ambiance was great in the new outdoor building and yard. We were there for the fall festival. We sat in the inside area up top and enjoyed the great drinks, along with great crispy boneless wings, Buffalo garlic flavor. We also ordered the prize winning pizza that happened in the the Napoli and that was light, crisp, thin and delicious.

Amazing east coast neighborhood Italian. to be clear: this is the best eggplant you will find this side of the hollywood in Cortland New York. There is no debate. Eggplant parm crisply fried on the outside, savory red on top, melted mozz underneath it. Attentive servers, fast moving kitchen. My only regret is that all that I ordered was one dish.

Had a really great experience here. Plenty of gluten free options! The pizza was delicious, we also had the chopped antipasto which was fantastic. We made a reservation and had zero issues. Our server was tentative and kind. Super clean and modern style restaurant with a wonderful outdoor space.

My favorite pizza in Albany County. The food is so good and the staff is so nice and happy to be there. We usually sit at the bar, but the dining seems very family friendly. Love the pizzas, chopped antipasto and everything else we have tired.

Best pizza in the area- bar none! My personal favorite is the Mama Mia- crispy crust, full flavor sauce, the perfect amount of cheese, and the pesto sauce (amazing) reminds me of Rubirosa in NYC. I do agree with other reviews about the waiting staff being preoccupied and if this interfered with the food (quality, taste, etc) I would give a lower rating. Yes- they have a younger staff but the food is always top notch and never disappointing. Also, I love that they have handicap accessible front and back entrances. The back has a lovely patio and deck area.

Anthony's by Romos has the best pizza hands down 100% worth the wait especially on a beautiful night Pictured is the MVP - Cup n char pepperoni, red sauce & vodka sauce finished with house pesto & Romano cheese (I asked them to add hot honey)

    Pizza. It was nothing special.

I had high hopes for this place. I've had Romos pizza and it has always been good. Got here and was seated around 7 pm on a Saturday. They were starting to thin out. It was clear that the staff had checked out for the day. I am not sure who my server was. The female servers in my area were busy flirting with a male staff member or playing on their phones. I assume the guy was Charlie since he said he was mentioned on 518 Foodies. I had to flag down staff and beg for help for everything. I don't know who my server was. Pizza was nothing special. Honestly, Defazio's new place is 1,000x better. Here I felt I was an inconvenience. DeFazios pizza was better as was the service. This place was dirty and no one was cleaning it up. Crap left from the prior diners. Don't waste your time.

I was dining in and waited less than 10 minutes for my food. The portion was absolutely HUGE! I couldn't believe it. I barely made a dent in it! It tasted fresh and the sauce was really tasty. The pita and hummus were also fresh too. I grabbed a box for my leftovers and had another meal out of it. Overall, the place was clean, there was enough seating if you're dining in, the food was fresh and ordering was extremely easy. Definitely recommend!

The restaurant is clean and bright and comfortable. You can order either from the kiosk at the side, or at the counter - and they're really helpful at the counter. I crafted a bowl with grilled chicken. I was expecting the chicken to have a slightly stronger flavor, but all the extra items in the bowl plus the sauces I requested really enhanced the flavor. I'm a big fan of their hummus, and I'm almost addicted to their house white sauce, which has just the right amount of garlic in it. Their cucumber mint iced tea also has a great flavor, though I do find it a bit sweet. Be aware that it might take a few minutes for your order to be ready. Bowls with cooked ingredients will take slightly longer. Plus, they are already doing a huge take-out business, so you can't judge only by the number of customers sitting in the restaurant. This is a wonderful addition to the area, and I look forward to many more meals here.

The soft opening menu was in effect at the time of this posting, which included a few appetizers, boneless wings, salads, burgers, sandwiches and a kids menu at fair prices. The menu will be expanding and offering more appetizers, street tacos, and pizzas soon. The atmosphere is old school casual with seating up at the bar, table seating and booths, TVs on the walls. I stopped in at The Hedge Bistro for a late lunch and to cool off on a very sunny and humid day. I sat up at the bar and given their soft opening menu. I got an ice quickly ordered the All American Burger ($13 plus tax) with fries. My food was served to me in 12 minutes after ordering. The burger was served open face with tomato slices, crisp lettuce, red onions, blue cheese crumbles (my choice on top of a firm fresh grilled beef burger patty on a soft toasted bun. The hot golden coated fries were typical crisp outside and soft inside, ketchup cup provided on plate (could've used a bit more). After I was finished, I got the check which was $14.04 with tax before tip (paying cash) or $14.60 with tax before tip (paying by card) and of course I went with the green option. Overall, a pretty good burger and fries lunch in a cool place. Afterwards, I headed back outside towards the greens and it was very steamy out there.

With an expiration date looming and hours reduced with the end of the golf season, we decided to stop in quick before their 6pm closing tonight. Parking lot was nearly empty, and the restaurant and bar had only a few folks seated, but we were welcomed and told we had plenty of time to sit and have a meal. And what a meal we had! We were offered our choice of seating, and chose a booth to spread out in. As there was hardly anyone there, I figured we weren't taking up valuable seating. My only complaint of the evening was the TVs were a bit loud for the size of the "crowd" there - probably turned up to overcome the boisterous golfers who show up after their rounds. The wife and I ordered the Chile Lime Shrimp street tacos. So, so good! Flavorful, and a surprising amount of spicy heat - we made some faces but couldn't help but continue eating that deliciousness! Topped it off with a tasty Speckled Pig Brewing "Restitution" IPA offering and a Guinness for the wife. I don't even like IPAs typically, but it was excellent. Service was incredibly friendly and attentive. While we waited for our food to come out, we received a surprised visit from "Connor, the emotional support dog". I love animals, so I laughed when he just appeared at the table. His owner, who I assume is the owner who runs the restaurant, wasn't too far behind and apologized for the dog's intrusion on our evening, but since we're animal lovers, it was very welcome. We chatted with the owner and visited with Connor, who was such a calm and sweet dog. When our tacos showed up, the owner excused himself and Connor to let us eat. The woman who greeted us when we first came in also checked with us near the end of our meal to ask how we felt about our meal. We had a wonderful time and both of us expressed how impressed we were with our tacos. A second beer for me, and then our most difficult decision was what to try for dessert. The young lady waiting on us gave us a dizzying array of options, all of which sounded excellent, but we settled on a lemon raspberry cake option. I hope we didn't moan too loudly as we enjoyed it so much. Our experience was so enjoyable. I'm thrilled we have yet another gift certificate to use up here, as we'll be looking forward to our next visit. Unfortunately their hours are limited due to the end of daylight and golf season. More people need to come out and enjoy this gem.

Gracie's is an elevated diner experience...all the breakfast and brunch things you could want, but up a couple levels from a classic greasy spoon diner. Not dissing the greasy spoon diner experience...love that...but this is based in that historical experience, with an overall nicer experience in terms of food and atmosphere. Also, before we get into the specifics, here are 2 words which would bring me in from just about anywhere: Donut menu. Yes, they make their own donuts here, and that's enough reason to stop in, take out, or worship at the front door. We got our donuts to go after the meal...The coffee was GREAT. Too often, coffee, which should be the opening star of a diner experience, can be flavorless, browned water. Here it was good. Bold as I needed it to be, and the perfect foundation for the rest of the meal. My next go-to if they have it brunch experience is biscuits. They have them...you can get a biscuit on its own or, heck, go for a mini biscuit basket! I live for a biscuit-forward establishment. The Full Breakfast (submitting biscuit or potatoes for the meat) would have been my choice, but I decided to roll my own and ended up with a biscuit, fruit cup, and side of Hash Browns. The biscuit was good, large, and perfect with butter and honey. They make the hash browns to order - large hash brown patties - and with 2 different orders of them at the table, one was overcooked, too brown, and not impressive...but the other was perfect and delicious...bordering on potato pancake territory in presentation and flavor. Our server was fantastic...we had a large party encompassing 3 different tables in the middle of a Sunday morning (On Easter no less), which is, of course, the busiest time of the week. She was friendly, enthusiastic, and never made us feel rushed. If I found myself in the Hudson Valley again, Gracie's would be a definite destination for me.

The flavors were intricate yet subtle, and I loved that it was vegetable forward. My "Not a Negroni" was the best Negroni I've had, hands down. I wasn't sure how the Rum and Pineapple Amaro would work together, but they were exquisite compliments. The homemade sourdough and butter came out hot and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. It was hard to resist ordering more. A simple salad of lettuces, cucumber, cheese and light dressing blew my mind -- perfect for summer. I got the dauphine potatoes, which were like potato croquettes, and the addition of prosciutto made them a hearty and filling dish. The only miss for me were the desserts -- the flavor of the lemon tart was excellent but there was a jello-like encasing that seemed out of place and unnecessary. The mousse also had these strange jello-like pieces in the cream, which didn't really work for me. Next time, I would get the sundae.
