Love the food, service and ambiance. They do a wonderful job. This is great for a cute date or dinner and drinks with friends. This is one of the best brunch spots in the Capital Region!! Whatever you do, dont forget to order a cocktail (Mermaid Tears is my fav) The photos are from my last visit. We went on Mother's Day with no reservation and they still found seating for us. The servers are always knowledgeable about the menu and the food tastes so fresh. It's hard to choose what to eat when I go because the whole menu is so good!!

Josie's Table serves yummy food with fantastic service, in a lively atmosphere. If you are looking for a quiet place to dine, this is not that place. If you are looking for crave-able bites and you do not mind a bit of crowd chatter, go. You will not be disappointed. The only critique I had was that the cheesy dip and an herbed butter was served with already buttered bread. It was very greasy, and unnecessarily so. The mushroom pasta was incredibly good.

Lovely farm to table restaurant in Stuyvesant Plaza. The servers were incredibly friendly and they were able to accommodate multiple larger parties at once. I was there with a group of 6 and next to us was a table of about 12, plus a full restaurant. Food was coming out consistently and was all excellent! The daily specials all sounded so great! This seems like a place where the chefs get to make some lovely new flavor combinations based on what they get from the local farmers!

Came here for a girls' night dinner with friends and had a great experience. The place is clean, modern, and beautifully bright. The waiting area near the entrance is spacious, so you can comfortably chat while waiting for your table. The staff were very friendly and professional. My friend ordered the half chicken and I had the beef burger. Both dishes were nicely presented and delicious. The burger looked a little small at first, but it was actually very filling -- I didn't even touch the fries! We shared a cheesecake for dessert and it was light, fresh, and really tasty. Overall, it was the perfect spot to relax, catch up with friends, and enjoy a lovely evening. We'll definitely be back!

Stopped to get lunch on our way . It seemed nice from the outside and the Google reviews were good. Walked in to a fancy looking interior. Given it was a Sunday we were told they only served tor Brunch menu which didn't have anything we were looking for. From the menu we ordered the Hot chicken sandwich with truffle Parmesan's fries and Athletic brewing lemon Radler . Anna was our sever . She was not available to take our order in time. After a long wait we ordered and were served the clChicken sandwich n fries . The meat was cold inside and the sandwich itself had no flavor. The Truffle fries were soggy . Our sever was not available to complain or call out the cold sandwich. After a long wait she appeared and took the sandwich back and ordered for a replacement. After another long gap they got us a new sandwich but no fries . How petty can a restaurant get . The replacement sandwich was no better , but we took out the flavorless meat out and ate the bun and soggy fries as we were very hungry and had a long drive . This palace is too expensive for the quality and quantity of food and the kind of service they provide.

Made a reservation for 6 online with no issues. Our reservation changed to 7 people where I had to call in and put down a credit card for a no show fee of $20/person which wasn't an issue. Easy to adjust our reservation back to 6 without a problem due to changed plans. Walked in and sat immediately near the kitchen but it was quite cold inside. Once everyone showed up, service was pretty consistent but definitely took some time before people came. Re-ordering drinks definitely took awhile though. We ordered a variety of their appetizers including a dozen oysters, Maple Fried Brussel Sprouts, Buffalo Cauliflower, Pork Belly, Deconstructed Mexican Street Corn and the Blistered Shishito Peppers. Everything was pretty good but we loved the tender Pork Belly, the Brussel Sprouts and the Street Corn. For our entrees, i shared the Mushroom Pappardelle and the Seafood Pasta (special) and both were delicious. Overall, the food was amazing and had a great time but definitely takes some time for the drinks to come out (even glasses of wine). Would definitely revisit to try other parts of their menu.

Josie's table is a delicious new(ish) addition to the Albany area! Their menu is seasonal and farm to table, so a little bit pricier, but you get what you pay for! The food is all high-quality and beautifully presented. I have been here twice for dinner and twice for brunch and the meals have been perfect every time. Make sure to make a reservation, the place is always packed! The restaurant while always busy doesn't feel crammed and has an elegant yet laid-back feel. They do have seating for medium sized groups and lots of parking. There's also a nice patio for those warm months. I'm looking forward to my next visit already!

I was excited to come back to Josie's to try brunch for a family event! This is legitimately a beautiful restaurant, I absolutely love the architecture and decor inside! Our party was a medium size. It was a busier day for them, I believe almost every table was filled. The service not good, very SNARKY. Which was very surprising to me because the last time I was here the service was utterly stellar! I ordered a tea service and asked for cream and sugar with it. The server laughed and pointed to the sugar packets in front of one of my family members because she had ordered coffee before I arrived, though I hadn't noticed this. He then pointed at her mostly empty carafe of cream with her used/empty sugar packets shoved inside of it and asked if it would be enough cream for my tea. I looked at him as if he was joking and asked for a fresh carafe of cream. I ordered the filet eggs Benedict, which was good but it arrived stone cold. I didn't even bother asking them for hot food because I was afraid of what he might do to my food if I asked since cream and sugar was too aggravating for him. As pretty as this place is, I won't be back.

Always a great experience at Josie's Table! The service is always friendly and attentive. Every waiter we have had here has been great. The truffle fries are some of the best in the area along with the delicious aioli. The pizza as well as the steak options are always fantastic and the drinks always have a fun and well made selection no matter what season. A great place for both lunch and dinner and a good place to get together with friends and family! Fun modern vibes for lighting and table settings.

Josie's is my most visited place of 2024. The food is exceptional. I absolutely love the creative menus and how they change each season. The perfect spot for a night out or cozy date night. One thing I will say, is that I absolutely recommend making a reservation at least a few weeks or a month in advance. Even though my party of 4 had a reservation for over a month, we had to wait to be seated. Well worth the wait, always though. items pictured from winter menu- local bread, pork belly appetizer, sherry braised short ribs, truffle fries, lobster pasta (special), crème brulee

Great service. Food is a bit pricey but the pizzas are a great value. It gets very crowded so make sure you have a reservation as the seating is limited.

Make sure you make a reservation! We went there for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and there were no tables. They did have some available outside in the extremely hot weather but they did have a ceiling fan which helped a little bit. The service was a bit slow for us for some reason. Everyone who got sat after us were already eating before we even got our food but it was OK. I was in good company. The service was friendly enough. I got a salad that was on special. It had a few orange slices, a few cut strawberries slices, some slivered almonds, some greens and a sprinkling of goat cheese. Kind of sparse. It was ok. Someone else got a salad with Barrada but when she cut it open it didn't do the thing. She said it was delicious! Someone else got a big fat burger and it looked really good. We also got the hummus and veggie appetizer which we thought would come with fresh veggies but they were all pickled but there were a few cucumbers and the bread was delicious. We thought that they were going to be fresh veggies. I don't believe the menu specified. It was actually kind of disappointing. The hummus was good though. The margarita pizza looked haphazard at best and the center was very mushy but it was very tasty. I did not try the bruschetta pizza but I was told it was very good.

I've been there before and the crazy, giant fiberglass crab on display in the entrance is always a hoot. So is the fiberglass shark head on the wall in the dining area. I like a place with a sense of fun and humor. I also like this place for its seafood boils. The good news is that this restaurant--which was very good to begin with-- has gotten even better. Last time I showed up, the server brought the seafood boil still in its boiling bag and cut it open in front of me. It was up to me to reach into the hot bag and pull out its contents. There was steam everywhere. A hot mess, indeed! This time, the kitchen took care of the boiling bag for me. Instead, they beautifully arranged the boiled seafood on a large platter. Wow. It looked amazing and tasted even better! This time, I'd asked for a Number 4 with mix of seasonings, including garlic and butter. There were: one big lobster tail, plenty of shrimp, clams, crawfish, potatoes, corn on the cob, hard boiled eggs and extra veggies. It was described as enough to feed three people. Coincidentally, we were a party of three. We also ordered a Cajun Fried Rice for good measure. We really didn't need it. We were so full. The fruit drinks were great, too. When I looked up their address, Apple Maps stated that the restaurant was closed today (Sunday, August 18th, 2024). So, I searched for the next best option, and Yelp suggested a restaurant in Crossgates Mall, Albany. Listed currently as Latino's Cuisine on Yelp is actually Lo Nuestro's 2nd restaurant! Formerly known as Latino's cuisine, the owners of Lo Nuestro has expanded their family owned restaurants and now occupies this restaurant and space in Crossgates Mall as their 2nd restaurant. Crossgates is a huge mall, so I used the directory map to find the exact location of the restaurant. It was the same restaurant my friend recommended! Lo Nuestro's SECOND location is located upstairs in Crossgates Mall, next to Pandora Jewelry and in front of the "Going, Going, Gone" Dick's Sporting Goods clearance store. If you're trying to avoid the mall and a lot of walking, you can park as close as possible to Going, Going, Gone and then go upstairs. Lo Nuestro is on the right-hand side next to it. As soon as I walked in, the food alone made me want to try everything pollo. There was a line of about five other customers ahead of me, Spanish music blasting in the restaurant a few tables and booths for friends and family to dine in. A dessert case with a variety of desserts and all the food you order is behind the counter in steam table pans. I ordered a large stew chicken (which they didn't have much left of), and I see why! (It tastes really good and was exactly what I was looking for). I asked the pleasant and English-speaking young lady (Franchesca) if she could give me small portions of both types of their chicken so I could try a little of both after she apologized for the near empty pan of stew chicken, and she kindly gave me small portions of each in my large order. Both were so good! I also did the same with the tuna pasta salad and the potato salad. While I've had better-tasting potato salad, (needed more seasoning or salt and less mayonnaise) it's still edible and delicious. (At the time of this writing, I hadn't tried the tuna pasta salad yet.) Their passion fruit juice is a little on the too sweet side for me but still great tasting. Nothing a shot of lemon juice wouldn't fix. At my grown age and being Jamaican , I'm just now starting to appreciate why everyone eats and asks for plantains, and the sweet plantains here are actually good. Would I come back like the young lady working the counter encouraged? Absolutely. She mentioned they are going to fix their listing on Apple, Google, and Yelp because they own both restaurants located in Crossgates Mall and on Central Avenue in Albany. This review is for the Crossgates Mall location. I had a pleasant experience, and the food did what it needed to do. I ate both potato salad and the tuna Mac salad after editing and now I am back to give an update, I enjoyed BOTH salads and I wished I had more. I licked the salad container clean. Don't judge me.
