This visit, I came on a lunch break from work, but it is not the first time at Blaze Pizza. They are always fast to welcome me in, and take my custom gluten free, lactose free pizza order! The pizza is made right in front of you, as you can order it custom as they are putting it together. The pizza is baked in a open flame oven, (it is manually rotated as it is cooking). You can watch it bake it you like; or have a seat and they will call you up when it is done. There is extra toppings offered for fresh toppers after it is baked. You can eat in, or take out! The seating area is kept clean, the service is polite and fast! The pizza itself is delicious. This visit, I was so hungry from watching it be made, I forgot to take a picture of the finished product. Oops! ... next time! I have been to Blaze a few times, and they have never disappointed; I will definitely visit again! Side note: If you can eat gluten; they offer fresh oven baked smores as well... I don't dare try them due to my dietary restrictions; but they look mouthwateringly delicious!

What a nice place! I was hungry and tired of shopping and looking for a nice place to eat, and I ended up going there. I loved the atmosphere, decoration and the music. I loved the system and fresh dough! The staff was friendly and helpful and the system was pretty efficient. I loved the taste of the pizza and it's now officially one of my favourite places! I'll definitely go back there and I recommend this place.

My first time at Blaze Pizza. I have heard so many people rav about it. It was alright. I'd give it another try. I really love the fact that you can get just half a pizza, pick from a wide variety of toppings and sauces. Service at this location was great. The workers great you and are so helpful. They will ask you if it's your first time to a Blaze Pizza and will walk you through the process. I found that touch very helpful. The staff came by our table to see how everything was and greeted us again as we left. Such a nice atmosphere. I'm a sucker for a white sauce and they did deliver on the white sauce. My friend made her own pizza with about 7 toppings and it turned out great!

Blaze pizza is great! I love that you can add endless toppings for just $12. The pizza is good sized and very tasty. My only problem is it's s bit of a wait time for fast food restaurant, very loud and not enough seating.

Blaze pizza is no ordinary Pizza chain. I did a little homework on these guys so you wouldn't have too, I encourage you to snoop around their Web page ~ SO COOL! I had my first BP this weekend @ South Edm. Common (YAY) This location is large & airy ! It's well equipped to handle larger groups & events. Ive had my eye on the Blaze Pizza in Oliver Square, a smaller but super cool looking establishment that recently offered $3.14 pizza for pi day!!! This is an annual event and from my understanding the lineups are insane!! Id check it out for the experience vs. The savings. Walking into Blaze SEC. I was cheerfully greeted right away, there was a line & it moved like a well oiled machine. We were topped, blazed & served within 6 minutes! The pizza's were AWESOME! TIP: You will be offered a choice of ORIGINAL OR SPICY SAUCE. The SPICY, was SPICY! I love spice, but did not love this sauce. My non spice loving friend thought it was great (shrugs shoulders) Don't be Intimidated by a line it moves fast. Do watch the staff fire up your pizza :) Do check out BLAZE GEAR ! Want to throw a fundraiser or event ? Check out how these guys will cut you a check for 20% of the net sales that your event brings in (excluding alcohol sales) Or how they will provide customized flyers inviting supporters to the event, you distribute them. Check out there website for more details http://www.blazepizza.com/fundraising/ ENJOY!

A delicious pizza place that won't blaze through your wallet for extra toppings. Atmosphere: 4/5 - Modern & sleek with a decent amount of comfortable seating available. Price: $$$/5 - On the cheaper side of average for a small size pizza (BYO 11 inch = $14). No extra cost for more toppings! Customer Service: 4/5 - Server was polite. Service was average speed. Location: 4/5 - Lots of stores in South Edmonton Common. Right by Calgary Trail. Transit nearby. Taste: 5/5 - Delicious oven style pizza. Unlimited toppings. You can tell dough is fresh. Menu: 4/5 - Menu is average size with all the toppings you'd expect available + more. Sustainability: 4/5 - Eco-friendly packaging. Preservative free ingredients. Strengths - Delicious, unlimited toppings. Weaknesses - Menu could include more items. Good items to buy: Hot Link, Green Stripe, Agua Fresca. Summary: 4.2/5 - Overall, I would definitely recommend stopping by Blaze Pizza. They have great tasting pizza that you can put as many toppings as your heart desires on. Their menu is small on the smaller side. Blaze shows that they care about sustainability by having virtually everything be either recyclable, compostable or made from post-consumer materials. The one area I think they could improve is by using local Canadian ingredients. Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I hope it helps you!!

Mind blowing pizza by Blaze pizza totally made my day. I loved their concept of build your own pizza where you can pick each and every topping of your own choice. After building my own pizza i had the delicious and yummiest pizza after a while. If you are tired of normal pizza base topping then here you can give something different taste to your tastebuds and all are of one price. Isn't that amazing? What i ordered: Ham, Grilled Chicken and Pineapple Pizza Pizza base topping: White cream and Garlic Pesto sauce Cheeses: Parmesan and Regular cheese Meats: Smoked Ham, Italian meatball and grilled chicken Veggies: Black olives, pineapple, jalapenos and Finishes : Bbq sauce Rating: Ambience:4/5 Taste:5/5 (I totally loved my pizza, i made it non spicy on the base and then added italian meatballs for little bit of spice) Service: 4/5 (pretty quick) Value for money:4.5/5 (Because for building your own pizza you don't need to pay extra)

For fast fire baked pizza, Blaze Pizza, offers quick service and hot food in minutes. The menu offers build your own pizza and a selection of signature pizzas, both made in front of you. The pre-made dough is mechanically flattened and shaped into the pizza crust. It gets assembled down the line and lastly reaches the blazing pizza oven, where it is then ready for pick up. I have only eaten here once, and was a little disappointed with the experience. The restaurant was lively, with music playing and cheerful decor. There were quiet a few people inside and people continued to come and go as we had our meal. It was a nice location, but the food did not deliver anything outstanding. The pizzas were average, and did not exceed beyond anything I felt I couldn't make on my own. Overall, it felt like an underwhelming attempt to reinvent an already great classic, losing the quality in the process. Will not be eating here again.

Open for dine-in with social distancing measures. Got the green stripe pizza and it's fantastic! Bell peppers and arugula are fresh. The pesto drizzle is bright but not overpowering. Fountain drinks are refillable but you need to ask for a new cup each time. Lineup isn't too busy in the early afternoon and lots of parking space available. Good for a quick afternoon lunch!

Surprisingly they were quite delightful and aren't too expensive. I went around 12:30pm on a Wednesday and it was quite busy. The line went by quick. I tried the Holiday Turkey and my partner tried their Original 1762. The Holiday Turkey literally tasted like a holiday turkey in stuffing within cranberry sauce. I was pretty satisfied with how spot on the taste was and it made me feel like I was eating a Christmas meal. My partner enjoyed his Original 1762 roast beef sandwich. Both sandwiches were flavourful and warm. They give you an option to choose between whole wheat and white bread. We got the combo so it came with soup and a soft drink as well. They gave us an empty cup for the soft drinks and it was self serve at the counter. The chicken noodle soup was well made also. Overall I definitely recommend checking this place out if you haven't. The sandwiches were filling and worth the value.

It is very possible to spent a lot of time here. The fun is in mixing and matching the various oils and vinegars. There are so many exciting flavour combinations to try out. Sometimes, it can be overwhelming to choose something. Luckily, the signage throughout the store can help you figure out what you're into. Beside each oil and vinegar, there are suggestions of what foods are best paired with these. I also find that the staff are usually available to help you find what you're looking for. Another plus is that they have different sizes of bottles to choose from. If you're trying out a new flavour you can buy the smallest size. If you have a tried and true favourite, you can buy the largest bottle. They even have gift sets available. My family loves these Evoolution products and have been using them for years. Using these oils and vinegars have elevated my salad eating experiences at home. The bottles look so classy compared to your average grocery store salad dressing. The coolest part is that these oils and vinegars can be used for many other foods such as meats, cheeses, ice cream and popcorn! If you haven't been in one of these stores, I totally recommend checking one out!

Seriously, so nice - she explained a few things, made a few recommendations based on what I was looking for and then let us go to town on the sampling. I tasted a reasonable amount (reasonable being a loose term) of olive oil and balsamic vinaigrettes. A few that stood out for me: Tuscan herb, garlic, and the cranberry pear balsamic. So good. They come in three sizes (200ml - $13, 375ml - $19 and 750ml - $31). I ended up picking up a Tuscan herb evoo bottle ($19) and tried it in a salad dressing I made. Awesome! Very cool, chic spot - hit it up if you are looking for something to spruce up your salads/chicken/dinners! They even have these little 6 bottle samples ($36) that would be a great gift.

It's located in Whitemud Crossing which is the same strip mall as the Public Library is located except Hungry Birds is on the opposite side as the library. There are two or three tables but this is clearly a takeout café. The owner greeted us as we arrived and then explained how the menu worked. There are noodle bowls, grilled wraps, soups and salads. We opted for the noodle bowls. He then asked what size (small, medium and large). Then we chose the vegetables and meat. I had the marinated beef and my wife had the chicken. We had a choice of two types of noodles to select from or rice. Finally he asks what kind of sauce and whether or not you want cheese on top; the cheese is an add on. We also ordered a bowl of Wicked Thai Soup. I was impressed that he put the soup into a pot to heat it up rather than just scooping it directly from the soup pot. This ensured that it was hot . Once we got home we found all of our orders were quite hot. More importantly we all agreed that the noodle bowls were delicious and for the most part, nutritious. This was my first visit to Hungry Birds but it won't be my last visit. I have no problem giving them four stars.

Waters were provided as well as a wine bottle-type jug with water in it - too bad the wine bottle is quite dark and the waiter cannot tell when it is empty and needs a refill. We tried: Ricotta Fritters: 7/10, tomato sauce was very overpowering in flavor, corn was very nice. Fritters themselves were very tasty and the ricotta filling was very nice but it gets hidden when eaten with the potent tomato sauce. Broccolini: 9/10, good, good flavor, cooked well just not sure they are worth the price for what you get. Risotto: 6/10, my uncle gave it a 8/10 as he liked it. To me it was pretty bland, could be that the carrot flavor isn't my thing, but just found it underwhelming and lacking flavor (maybe needs more salt too) Texture was very good though. Colcannon Gnocchi: 12/10. This dish was soooo good. Loved the mushroom cream sauce, sour cream, GIANT bacon jam blobs, gnocchi itself had good texture. But combined the flavors were phenomenal. 100% recommend this dish. Unfortunately Amberjack was not available. Herb Marinated Chicken Thighs: Chicken was 9/10 good, good flavor and texture but Brussel sprouts were bad like no one would eat them bad. Undercooked and under seasoned. Little rocks that had a bad taste. Sauce was good to add moisture but was very very bland/tasteless. Overall this fed 3 of us well with no leftovers but also no room for dessert.
