All of the toppings seemed very fresh and of high quality. I think it takes 180 seconds to cook your pizza in the wood oven, but keep in mind you might need extra time for your pizza to get "down the line". At first I though I would have to wait forever for pizza to be made but only too a bit over 5 minutes. You can select your own toppings or do a quick 0 or 1 topping. The pizza comes in a box where if taking on plane with you may cause a problem. I prefer only taking sandwiches on planes but you never know what people will do. Since it's out from a brick oven it is very hot so take your time. The pizza itself is very good and is thin crust. It is much better than I expected. read more

Hands down the best meal I've had at an airport. If you're lucky to have your flight depart from this terminal, go to BLAZE. I've been to other Blaze locations and they're good, I think what makes this taste so amazing is that you're sitting in the airport and your options range from some random Asian chain you haven't heard of of McDonald. I am so happy that IAH decided to put a Blaze Pizza in terminal A cause airport food really sucks, and I'm so happy to see some decent options here finally! I wish they would follow suit at all the airports, esp Hobby!!! I was in a hurry to catch my flight, but since I was flying so late, I needed to grab something quick to bring onto the plane with me. I got in line at Blazed and they promised my pizza would be boxed and ready in about 10 mins! They did not disappoint! I ordered a margherita; sorry there are no photos cause we gobbled this thing down on the plane and I didn't have time for any pictures! =) The dough was crispy and fantastic, there were chunks of fresh mozzarella and basil and it tasted fantastic! I would go to Blaze on a normal day but because it was so quick and at the airport, I give it a +++!!! Thank you for making non-disappointing airport food! I was sooo excited to try this place and really glad I read the yelp reviews to confirm that they do have vegan cheese..YAY! But also if you read their menu it says they offer vegan cheese upon request, whoops I missed that. So I started at the beginning of the line and was greeted with a 'thank you for choosing blaze' and a friendly smile.. I thought to myself YAS this is customer service (needy much). The lady took my order, I chose a build your own pizza with regular dough. The next lady in line though... she's the reason I'm giving 3 stars vs 5 stars.. I was even teetering on giving 2 stars but my tastebuds wouldn't let me. So I clearly state that I would like vegan cheese, yet she proceeds to grab a handful of regular cheese.. she then realized her mistake and reaches for the vegan cheese and spreads it on my pizza. HOWEVER she left several pieces of non vegan cheese on the pizza..and I had to point them out to here, and she said oh there's not more left, and yet I still point pieces out to her. This is the time and point at any establishment would offer to start your meal from scratch.. given that I'm requesting a dietary restriction. I even had to tell this lady..I do not eat dairy cheese, and she just continued making the pizza. This left me with a bad taste without even having had the pizza. Next she put the toppings on and then added salt without me even saying yes. The pizza came out super fast and the cashiers were wonderful. Blaze pizza needs to educate their workers to change gloves for certain diets ..vegetarian, dairy free, gluten free..it's a small price to pay for good customer service. More importantly they need to educate their workers to be conscious of dietary restrictions and preferences and if they make a mistake they need to own up to it and make it right for the customer. Oh also I asked for a side of marinara sauce and never got it. On to the good stuff.. the pizzzza!! The pizza is really good!! The original crust is thin but not crispy, it maintains the chewiness and thickness of a regular crust. The portion size is large, so if you're flying internationally and have to get rid of food on arrival be prepared to stuff your face, share or throw the rest out..I chose option A (OBVS). I loveee that they offer vegan cheese, it's really amazing for vegans and dairy free folks to have a quick pizza option at the airport. I recommend coming here for the pizza, it's really good! However I would caution you that if you have dietary restrictions the staff is not very conscious of it and you will need to speak up if the pizza is not made right. read more

As a pilot, I've been to this pizza place a lot. This pizza isn't just good for airport food, I would go to this place if it were located outside of the airport as well. I usually just get the basic Margherita-esque pizza, and it's amazing. Buffalo mozzarella which doesn't cover the entire slice, and leaves a lot of room to enjoy the sauce which is perfectly seasoned. Seriously, it's one of the few pizzas I've ever had where I've looked forward to eating a piece of just crust and sauce. This has to be the best airport food....ever, quite possibly. I'm a flight attendant and so I'm far beyond being over airport food. I tried Blaze in the airport and I'm so glad I did. First off - the value! No where can you get this quality food with such flavor for less than $10 - least of all places the AIRPORT!! I can see this being 3.5-4 stars pretty regularly. The biggest issue I have is most likely dependent on where/who serves you. Pretty much all my toppings were not reasonably spread on the pizza. So I either had a bite of all onion then the next bite was all zucchini then the next bite was just a plain ol' pie. All in all this place is quick. And pretty good. It's seemingly healthy if you're a macro counter. Although since the portions are so varied idk how accurate it could really be... You can choose from a variety of different toppings for your pizza, or you can choose a signature pizza from the menu. The line was short, so it took me about 10 minutes total to get my pizza. The pizzas come in a cardboard box, so it is great for travelers who are on-the-go. The pizza crust was a bit too thin for my taste, and the bottom was quite soggy. Portion size was pretty large, which was a good value for the price. The biggest complaint I have about this place is that the employees here are not professional; some of them are just standing around instead of helping customers. I usually get the build your own (you can add as many toppings as you want for about $8) they have pesto as well as marinara. About 5 cheeses to add on, meatballs as well as all the normal meats, artichoke, roasted garlic, caramelized onion, roasted red pepper plus all the normal stuff and other unusual toppings to add on. They also have a gluten free crust option. This place is super awesome. I have noticed that they are often out of Parmesan to go packets in the napkin area but just ask and they will make a little to go cup of it for you. read more

This was my second time eating here when I have flown out of IAH in Houston. There aren't a lot of restaurant options in Terminal A. They are remodeling it seems so maybe that will change. But as far as Blaze goes, its pretty good. As far as the atmosphere its the airport so it is what it is. There is usually a line but it moves quick. They have a number of different pizza's you can choose from or you can build your own. The first time I was here I got the regular crust and this time I opted for gluten-free. A side note: I'm not allergic to gluten but I'll try it out. They go through a lot of steps to clean and make sure it does not touch anything that its not supposed to. As far as toppings you can add extra to your pizza and even customize it if you want. The pizza is flash cooked in a pizza oven (if thats the right word) and it comes out thin crust and crispy, just the way I like it. So as far as the food its a plus. My only drawback to this place and its not a huge thing was the service the last time. I should have to tell the guy at the end to cut my pizza and add sauce to it more than once. Overall I'm sure he was a nice guy and its not a 5 star restaurant but he was just unprofessional. You shouldn't be carrying on a conversation with your co-worker like you are in the locker room. Blazeee! Located inside IAH airport, this was a great addition to the food chain. The pizza prices are pretty reasonable and the unlimited topping pizza for $9 was good also (especially for the airport). It's a similar concept to cafeteria-style serving. They also had 3 different types of salads, lots of toppings to choose from and some YUMMY drinks. I sampled the key lime punch which didn't taste overly sweet and was surprisingly really good. The prickly pear was also good. The pizza cooked for about 4-5 minutes, cut into 6 slices and placed in a box. The slices were pretty big so we shared. The taste was really good, all the staff were wonderful and energetic and I'd definitely return. read more

I have been here several times now so it's review time. If your not familiar with Blazing pizza, it is something of Dominoes meets subway in that you go up to the counter and basically order your pizza and follow it down the assembly line if you will. There are three types of doughs, several sauces and I'm guessing about 20 kinds of toppings. This location also serves bottles of beer if you want a beer with your pizza. The pizza here is good for a "quick made" pizza. This isn't gourmet pizza or some high class Italian pizza but closer to a fast food pizza offered in one size. 3 to 4 stars on the pizza usually. The service here. How can I describe it? I would say it takes me back to my childhood but not for the reasons you may think. Instead, this is like being a 4 year old walking into a day care with 5 other kids all doing their own activities without ever acknowledging you are there. Me and another couple sat there for 6 minutes watching 5 people talk to each other, bs about life, laughing and moving from end to end behind the counter but never once saying "Hi" to the customer in front of me. Unbelievable!! Finally, they took his order and mine was next but it was about 11 minutes by the time I ordered. Had I not had 45 minutes to spare I would have left and went somewhere else. For the crappy service, I give1 star with 2 stars overall. Get your act together next time and maybe I'll bump it up to 3 stars, just maybe. Enjoy! read more

This Pizza place is inside the airport and something about their trendy and clean logo design gravitated towards eating here. Food I arrived at Blaze Pizza around 10am and the associate immediately lets me know that both the breakfast and the lunch options was available. I did not had breakfast, because I flew an early morning flight so I ordered the veggie breakfast option. The throughput process is extremely efficient and food itself was amazing. It is a bit pricy, but each bite was very filled with cheese and you can really taste each ingredients as you are eating. All the workers are so nice, happy and friendly. read more

Call me crazy, but if you have a restaurant inside a busy airport, you should be respectful of your customer's time, be efficient and move swiftly to get people in and out. The sign says that the pizza is fired under 180 seconds. What the sign should say is that "the pizza is fired in 180 seconds but you have to wait 15 minutes to get through the line because the employees are too busy talking about who is dating who and what club they are going to." What's crazy is that the pizza is really good! Probably one of the best "quick" (I say that loosely) meals I've grabbed in an airport. But I literally had to run to catch my plane because the employees were absolutely useless-except the 1 older Hispanic lady that was basically doing ALL he work. Literally ALL the work. The only reason that I have given this business 3 stars and not 2 is that the manager understood the situation and tried to make it better. I have eaten at Blaze pizza in other cities. I also have to have Gluten Free required not preference. I let them know when I first ordered. They very nicely confirmed that I needed gloves to be changed. ALL went well until the very end, where the same person who verified that I needed gloves changed, picked up a regular pizza and then with the same gloves picked up my pizza. As I watched this happen, I said- you have contaminated my pizza by picking it up - she said no I didn't and then offered my money back. I agreed. The Manager came to give me a refund and I let her know that they need to be careful with food allergies/restrictions- She did have a another pizza made and gloves were changed. As much as I enjoy Blaze I still had another 2 hours or so on a flight that I was not willing to be sick on. read more
