I remember when this location was a Long John Silver's. I was a bit bitter when it closed and sat empty for a while and then taken over with this. I didn't want to stop in here for a very long time. But with being out with family recently and they wanting pizza, we came here. I knew the concept of this place, basically Subway/Chipotle for pizza. I didn't know the menu at all, and it can be a bit intimidating when it is your first visit here. Lucky for us there were a few people in line in front of us and that allowed for us to look over the menu a bit more. When I got to the counter to order I was set to go. I wanted to start with the Cheesy Pesto Garlic Bread and for the main event I went with a pizza with pepperoni and sausage. The thing I like about this model is that it's not a computer screen where you are typing it in and adding/subtracting. Instead you can see them make it in front of you. Asking if you want this or that and the amount of any particular ingredient. Right before the pizza is ready and goes into the oven they will ask you if you want to add anything else. The only thing I could think was to add oregano. Here is where they have a little bit of a hiccup in the system. When you order, and if you order multiple things that go in the oven, they are usually written down together so that your order goes through the line. But when it is pulled out of the oven, it doesn't always mean that it is all together. Couple that with the person pulling out the pizzas isn't the loudest person calling your name. My cheesy bread came out first and I heard my name for that. However, when my pizza was ready I did not hear my name. I think it may have sat there for a good minute before they even thought to call my name. In the end, I got my pizza, so all was good. The freshest pizza I have had in a long time. I know it's a chain, but they are doing some impressive things. They have sprinkling agents for your choosing. I went with the grated parm, my dad went with the hot pepper flakes. Obviously it was way too much to order so I ended up taking more than half of it home with me. It wasn't bad the second time around either. A little gripe I have here is they are absolutely straw free. That's is all great, but if you are going to give cups with lids that have openings for drinking, maybe have them behind the counter instead of out for everyone to grab.

I have no complaints about this Blaze Pizza location! We stopped in after a family party in Monroeville and were excited to see they were open. I haven't been over this way in a while, but remember this used to be a Long John Silvers. There were a few customers in line, but the employees were super efficient at keeping everyone moving. I love that you can add as many toppings as you want for no extra charge. I love the fresh mozzarella and ricotta! I added all of the veggies and arugula on top after they cook it. Everyone was nice and the pizza was great! I think it's about $11 total and was 2 meals for me.

Ive been to Blaze pizzas all over the country. This is the worst. Horrible customer service. They advertise a build your own pizza then charge you extra for the portions. The manager was the worst Ive ever seen in any business. She litterally counted the pepperoni on my build your own pizza then charge $3 for more then 8 pieces. Then made a huge seen and told me she would just throw my pizzas in the trash. Then started yelling at me. This was complete discrimination. Misleading customers then charging them for things not advertised. So can get a build your own pizza and get a portion of every single topping with no extra charge but if I get a build your own with pepperoni and sausage and want more pepperoni then they charge extra for getting more then 8 pieces of pepperoni. This is discrimination on pizza lovers all over the world. This location should not be representing the Blaze name. Worst experience ever.

The pizzas are good. They're made to order with the toppings of your choosing. It's one price, whether you want three toppings or ten. It doesn't matter if you want vegan, gluten free, or all meat, they can make it. They also have salads and desserts. The only reason I knocked it down a star was because it took forever to get waited on. We were just about to leave when someone finally came over. There was a guy at the pizza oven, a woman at the register, and another woman on the phone. The place was pretty dead, so other than the woman on the phone, the crew were just standing around, so not sure why no one could come and help us.

I love that they have Gluten Free Pizza crust. I do a BYO pizza with the GF crust & it is a dream. This is the first GF crust that I have found & actually enjoyed. Definitely would recommend if your GF or not! So many toppings to choose from.

All I can say is WOW!! The people were so nice and welcoming, I did a build your own pizza, the toppings were really fresh and a nice hearty amount of sauce! Next time I'll try the thicker crust for a few bucks more. I'll definitely be back in the near future! A++++ read more

This place is dope AF. For starters, I'm thrilled that I can get vegan pizza anywhere in Pittsburgh let alone in my own back yard in Monroeville. The employees however are the icing on the cake. They are super nice and accommodating. They always bend over backwards to bring my stuff to me as I'm usually with my 8 month old and they are so sweet and interact with him. They have a bunch of different sauces and toppings to suit the pickiest of people. They also have salads and what not to go along with whatever you feel like eating. I'll def be a regular. read more

I was there on opening day early. No line and the service was outstanding. So friendly. Every single team member said hello and asked how we were doing. I had more toppings on a pizza than I ever had and it was great!. My grandkids are coming for a weeklong visit and Blaze pizza is one the "attractions" we'll be taking them to. Also, can't beat the price! read more

So glad to finally have Blaze in the Pittsburgh area! The location is terrible (random spot among car dealers in middle of nowhere) but it's worth going because of the choice/options and the good service to boot. The decor is nice for a fast casual place, and the prices are solid. Now Blaze really needs to open a store closer in to the city. They're missing out on their core customers. Should be near Pitt, ideally. read more

This placed moved into the old Long John Silver's location, but you'd never guess it. They completely renovated the place, and it looks nice. Your pizza is made "fast casual" style, basically you tell them how to build your pizza from ingredients before you, then they place it in the oven. The pizzas are pretty thin, so they can cook quickly. Maybe not quite as fast as the 180 seconds they advertise, but you aren't standing around long. read more

I'm a total pizza lover, often making my own, I've even managed a shop. This is the coolest concept in a pizza place I've ever experienced. One price, any combo of toppings you wanna pick, all made right in front of you. And the toppings are such good quality and tasty! (The roasted garlic cloves are great!). The staff is always courteous, helpful and friendly. The manager, Lisa, is wonderful. She's good with her people, runs things well, and she always makes time to come around and talk with the guests. I highly recommend you try this place!! read more

I have to say that this is truly one of my favorite places to go for a fast food, the pizza is ready to eat in minutes and I get to choose from a wide selection of everything from the sauce to the toppings and top it off after it comes out of the oven, everything is fresh and even the drinks are different from your every day restaurant. I enjoyed it so much I checked on the franchise website to open one myself. i give 5 stars read more

Tried it for the first time........LOVED IT !!!!!!! Very neat concept........pizza was unique and very good! The employees were all very very very nice........It's a cool place to go, I think kids would really like it- watching their pizza made right in front of them and the oven ! It's just a really cool place and like I said, they treat you nice ! BTW, the options of what ya want to do with your pizza are like, crazy huge ! I've visited Blaze a few times and haven't been disappointed. I like being able to customize my pizza with the wide variety of toppings. The wood fire oven cooks it perfection. The timeframe from ordering to getting your pizza is quick, I haven't had to wait long on any of my visits. The cost is very affordable, I've always paid less than $10! read more

I'm staying at the Marriott across the street. I am giving 4 stars because I attempted to order online and received a invalid email error. Tried secondary email and received the same error. I called and attempted to order by phone and was informed that online ordering only. Spoke with Management and it didn't seem to bother him. Ok went on site new place from what I can see. The staff is very friendly and attentive going over combinations for pizza. Bottom line great wood fire pizza and staff. 4 stars because of management's lacking a sense of urgency to fix online ordering app or offering a work around. read more

Great pizza! High-quality ingredients and very good customer service. Drink selection it was average and the cleanliness (tables wiped, swept, etc.) could use some improvement. We've been there twice as a family and they were steady both times. First time didn't notice cleanliness. But still needs addressed. The parking lot also could have used some attention. Artisanal pizza pie in around two minutes? You betcha. Wood-fired pizza is still preferred, but these gas-fired puppies are a close second. But, what's not to love about your own customized, personal pizza for $8? There are several signature recipes available that include fresh, well curated ingredients, but once you get the hang of it there are 101 ingredients to satisfy your craving. They could benefit from a mic and speakers as trying to hear your name being called is akin to not hearing a damn word at a fast food drive-thru. Now go git yer blaze on! read more

It is the Chipolte of pizza, but their staff and manager are the lowest. I tried this place out for my first time today. It is good, but nothing I will come back for. I was waiting for my pizza and the manager or whomever was in charge, was leaving and dropping "F" bombs back and fourth with his staff. It was extremely unprofessional and so is an $8.00 , 11" pizza margarita!! read more

The concept of this place is amazing. But some of the workers need to learn how to put toppings on a pizza with consistency. Sometimes when I come here the the pizza is great! But other times, most times, the pizza is soggy, doughy and not cooked all of the way through. It's not like the place is busy and they are being rushed, either. This place just needs some work and it could be great. It's a shame because it's decently new and should not be having these issues. read more

The person behind the counter was working her tail off, was doing a fine job, and I felt sorry for her because the staff issue isn't her fault. It was lunch time and there were quite a few people there. This is the second time with an Eat N Park establishment in Monroeville that we've encountered poor service due to lack of staff. Eat N Park you can do better than this.

I liked the cole slaw on them, but the ribs didn't send me over the moon. I expected a better sauce. The fries themselves weren't cooked as much as I thought they should've been, and there wasn't too much sauce other than what the ribs provided. I was maybe thinking it was going to be a little different and would've been easier to eat, but they were literally just fries with three ribs on them. I'd probably try something different if I ever saw the truck again.

Haven't been there before, but can just tell that the cooks are amazing but the managers are rude and disrespectful to their employees and are not paying attention to their needs.
