Not impressed. Was waiting at the register to ask for some sauce and there were exactly 6 employees standing nearby that could have helped me. All turned their back when I walked up and none asked if they could help. When the cashier was finished with the customer they were helping they immediately turned around and started actively talking with other employees and playing with a napkin in the air instead of helping me. It took another 20 or so seconds before someone else decided to tell him he had to help me. Very poor service, not at all impressed. read more

My family and I really enjoy Blaze Pizza. That is a big complement, as we are from the Chicago area, a.k.a. the land of awesome pizza. The South, in general, gets a bad wrap for having bad pizza, but Blaze shines among the less than stellar pizza establishments. You can choose from the many pizzas they offer, or create your own. We all chose to create our own. Blaze offers gluten free crust, and I greatly appreciate it (I have Celiac)! The line moves quickly, you choose your crust, sauce, and toppings, then your pizza goes into the oven. The pizzas cook quickly, and your name is called. If there is an issue (I had a missing topping, once), they quickly and gladly resolve it. All of the pizzas we have had, were good. We have been to Blaze a few times, and will be back. read more

We loved the simple price and ease of customizing any of their specialty pizzas or creating a total unique pizza of your own design without racking up charge after charge. They seemed well staffed for the lunch rush and very efficient. Every pizza is made to order like at a Your Pie or Uncle Maddio's or how sandwiches are done at all the big chains. You can pick from predetermined pies with the ingredients listed, edit how you want it or do a total custom job. These pizzas are a bit larger than the ones you'd get from Your Pie or Uncle Maddio's so kids may be able to split one depending on their appetite. It is half a pizza and they can make it anyway you want. The pizza was wonderful and that is as good as I can rate it. I loved it. Now, when you order your pizza, they build it right in front of you. You go down a line with all the ingredients and they add what you want. The same is true for the salad. I loved both the pizza and the salad. This is the fastest baking pizza I have ever been served. They took my order. I sampled some of the soft drinks, found the shaker of hot pepper flakes, got my utensils, sat down and WOW, there was my pizza. Beverage offerings were out of this world. You may want to stop in just for them. They have great premium sodas, a choice of flavored teas, and fruited waters. Staff showed their true colors and courage when a severe thunderstorm blew through. At first, I noticed that the parking lot was wet. Then, the front doors kept blowing open due to the wind. I did the build my own, and my partner did the hot link pizza. It's about $8.25 for a pizza. Not bad, huh? You can see them doing the dough right in front of you, and you walk down the line and pick out whatever you'd like on your pizza. I did mine with their classic red sauce, mozzarella cheese, and. A little bit of every meat on there except the chorizo balls. The veggies I chose were green bell peppers, spinach, mushrooms, and black olives. After you build your pizza, they put it in their fire oven. It didn't take long to make at all. My pizza didn't taste bad and my partner's hot link pizza wasn't spicy either. (I'm a person who can't eat spice). Their dough knots weren't bad either. They do have bottled beer here if you'd like to have some with your pizza. The staff was friendly. Let me just say I really have high hope for this place. We ordered the half BBQ Chicken pizza, garlic pesto 'dough knots' and meat lover pizza. The food was hot and fresh right out of the oven. Came out for Pi day double date! They handled the crowds so well and professionally even when the line was out the door. I had been once before and loved it, but I recently found out that I'm lactose intolerant. When my husband suggested we go to Blaze for the Pi Day special I was a lil skeptical cause like, pizza with no cheese? No, please. But! Blaze has vegan cheese!!! Woohoo!! Definitely will be back just because of that. I almost cried because I haven't had a proper pizza in awhile... Anywho, Blaze consistently delivers great pizzas. The owner came by and chatted with us and gave us the back story on the franchise, really nice guy!! If they keep same food quality and awesome employees they will be around for a longtime!! First time eating at Blaze. We went to Blaze as soon as they opened today. Ordered the pizza our way and got an order of garlic knots. I didn't care for the crust of the pizza and it seemed to have more sauce than toppings! The garlic knots were incredible though! Looking around the restaurant, the tables could have been wiped down between customers and all the rugs including the one in front of the unkept drink station needed a good sweeping. Anytime the dining room in a restaurant is messy it makes me wonder how clean is the kitchen! Not sure if we will be back since I wasn't impressed with the pizza. Oh my goodness, some of thee best pizza I've had! Gluten free crust is delicious and be sure to get the salt and oregano topping- ask if they don't ask you if you want it. I had pepperoni pizza with regular sauce and mozzarella. Bursting with flavor. I will be back-- super affordable for family with kids! Ordered 2 pizzas and dessert for curbside pickup. I called when I arrived and the woman told me my food was ready and that she'd have someone bring it out. I was the only car waiting for pickup and the inside of the restaurant was very quiet except for some staff joking around (I was parked right in front of the doors). So after waiting 10 minutes, I called again. I would have just walked inside but I was recovering from a procedure that made walking difficult and painful. The same woman answered and I politely told her I called 10 minutes before and just wanted to make sure they didn't forget about me. She was pretty rude but brought my food out and didn't say a word. She just shoved the food towards me and walked away after I thanked her. Food was cooled off by that point, and my order was wrong. I decided to order from here as my son and I are lactose intolerant and they had vegan cheese. First I tried to order online through Yelp's link to their website but the order option didn't come up. Next, I called the restaurant to order over the phone of which they advise you to order through the website or their app. I pushed through all of these options to talk to a real human as I'm used to while ordering pizza. I asked the order taker how I was to place an order with the website not working correctly and what are the pizza prices as I didn't see the prices. I was met with a very unenthusiastic voice who seemed like he could care less that I didn't know the procedure to order. So I said I would try the website again (since he was so unenthusiastic). Then I went to the website directly via Google and was able to order successfully. The estimated pickup time was 18 minutes so I thought that's pretty decent. When I got to the restaurant, I was directed to the order pickup station which is just some unheated shelves. I took the pizzas and salad I also ordered and no one even checked that I was taking the correct order. The pizza was heavily sauced and very thin to where the pizza was saucy. The vegan cheese was mostly nonexistent. Overall the taste was mediocre. I won't be back. From the ordering to actually consuming it, I was unimpressed. read more

Worst Blaze I've ever been to. I've eaten Blaze at Brentwood no less than 20x. At the Medical Center location they had no sense of urgency. I stood at station 1 for at least 15 mins watching a worker plod thru 3 stations making an entire pizza while other workers just saunter around. The tables were filthy.
