Super friendly folks here, the bagels are great, the coffee is very good, and the bagel sandwiches are fantastic. My personal favorite is Lox, tomatoes, cucumber and capers, with a little cream cheese. It can be a little messy but it's really good. Highly recommended. I will warn that it can be pretty busy on weekday mornings, so be patient. read more

Was craving a bagel sandwich and this little gem popped up in my dr neighborhood so why not it was near by! Walked in and was quickly greeted while she finished with another guest. I was up told her I never had been there before and she happily gave me the run down in great detail (in a good way). I settled on a bacon egg and cheddar on a Asiago bagel. Deliciously toasted bagel with fresh egg and bacon. Can't wait to be on this side of town again and try something else! Also super cute little art boutique right when you go inside. I've been coming to this place since I was a kid, back when it was in it's old location. The bagel sandwiches here are absolutely to die for, hosting a wide variety of bagels and toppings (especially cream cheeses). The people here are very friendly, and you can usually find the owner running the front counter. If bagels aren't your thing you can also buy muffins or danishes if you have a sweet tooth (I love the apple danishes myself), or you could grab a coffee. Speaking of which, they have a special coffee blend that changes every month alongside the other flavors. I'm not much of a coffee person myself, but my dad loves it all. Overall you should visit this charming little place at least once, but beware because you might find yourself going back! read more

Very inefficient filling the orders-strictly first come, first served, which is fine except if you just order a plain bagel with cream cheese you have to wait while they prepare large orders of hot egg sandwiches all the whole the second prep person is just standing there doing nothing but waiting to bag the completed orders. read more

I was in the neighborhood about a week ago on business and saw this little place. My business travels took me in the area again and decided to stop in this time. Best decision ever. The best bagels I've had in forever. I enjoyed a sesame with chives and onion cream cheese. Fresh and delicious. I took a few for the road. I couldn't help myself and ended up eat two more later that day. Shared with my daughter and she enjoyed it just as much as I did. Dropped off a a friend at DTW and headed back to Clarkston. Stayed up MAYBE (yes, yes, definitely) too long at MGM, the food craving was real in the manana. Didn't want to get airport food and don't prefer chain experience, went out of my way per yelp recommendation, WTF - this place KICKS ASS!!!! I had a sandwich (half, let's get real, that thing was so huge - that's what she said teehee - that I literally had a hard time putting down half). The blueberry bagel, toasted, with strawberry shmear was so good, i would get the cream cheese on the side next time, that's just me. The bulletin board had a pay it-forward-board. I always cry a little inside when I see those, like, thank you universe, that's so f*ing awesome. OCSO and Fire Department, want some free food? (FYI, I didn't fit into either and GLADLY paid for my food ;)) But, head over to this place, there's your name for a free meal on the board - well, WELL deserved!! It is great to have a family owned place like this close to home! Blazing Bagels has excellent service, a huge menu, and really good coffee. I usually stop here on the way to work for a bagel and coffee. The prices are very reasonable, less expensive than the chain bagel shops. They usually brew 4-5 types of coffee, and they are all excellent. In addition to bagels, they usually have donuts, muffins, etc. They make smoothies and breakfast sandwiches too. Although I agree with the other reviews that the bagels aren't the best in town (not as doughy as I'd like), the incredibly friendly service, great prices, and convenience make it a 5 for me! read more

How lucky are we in Commerce Twp to have this family run coffee and bagel shop, in the middle of town?! A converted gas station, this coffee stop is a long awaited change for this property. We love to walk here and enjoy a freshly made breakfast egg and ham sandwich on delicious baked bagels with great locals! There are plenty of spaces to sit. Our favorite is the front glassed in room with large, home painted country table and chairs.
