Small size off the road, not what I was expecting for the building. Private parking lot. There really is no easy way to get to this place, it's in a very obscure part of commerce. All surface roads and only slow roads to get here Front area is a store and gift shop. Walk through and turn left to go to the bagel shop. Usually would expect the waft of baked bagel dough, instead I smell coffee and cigarettes or something else that I wasn't expecting, it's quite strong. Couldn't even smell the freshly baked bagels at all over the other scents. Grabbed two of the blueberry lemon, two slices of chocolate banana, two slices of the banana, everything bagel with egg, cheese and bacon with plain cream cheese, plain bagel with plain cream cheese, Thomas Edison on everything bagel with onions, pickles, cheddar jalapeño cream cheese and a Thomas Edison on multigrain bagel with pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles with jalapeño cream cheese. $45.50 The Thomas Edison bagel was okay, the bagels are all really hard. Too hard for me to chew on and wouldn't give as you bite into the sandwich. The other Thomas Edison was the same, hard bagel. The plain bagel and cream cheese was so-so. The blueberry and lemon as well as the chocolate banana bread were both good, the banana bread didn't have as much flavor and wasn't as buttery as I had hoped. Butter or cream cheese would have made the breads slices even better.

Delicious fresh homemade bagles! Nice to have a neighborhood bagle place, they are a diamond in the rough.

A very decent bagel--nothing spectacular or "must have" but still satisfying. Excellent service. Cream cheese is on point.

I understand employees may be busy, so that wasn't my concern. What bothered me was the customer service that followed. I asked for a small Berries Delight and pointed to the individual desserts on the left. Instead, the young man assisting me went to the cakes on the right and attempted to hand me a small cake. I politely stopped him and explained that I wanted the personal-sized Berries Delight on the left. He responded by saying, "Those are called slices," in a tone that came across as rude and condescending. I then asked if I could have a fresh one from the refrigerator because the one in the display case looked like it had been sitting there for a while. He insisted the display one was fine, but I repeated that I would prefer one from the refrigerator. He reluctantly got one and handed it to me, saying, "There's your fresh Berries Delight," in a sarcastic tone. I visit Sweet Dreams regularly--between this location and the previous one, I stop in about four times a month. I've always enjoyed your desserts, which is why this experience was so surprising. I've never been treated this way before. I hope this feedback is taken seriously because the quality of customer service should match the quality of your products.

It's off-season and I needed a raspberry tart to use for flavor cues for a client's launch of their new Raspberry Tart Wafer protein bar flavor. Due to a food allergy I didn't want to style the tart myself. I contacted a number of local bakeries as well as Plum Market, Whole Foods, Zingermans and more. None could accommodate my specific request. Finally, I came across sweet dreams and they were able to make me a beautiful raspberry tart to use for my images, based on the appearance, I wanted and in a timely manner. The location and store seem very nice too. And the pastry itself turned out great! Check out the images to see how pretty it was and how perfectly it worked. The cookies I got from there were extraordinarily dry, the sugar cookies with icing had no flavor at all. Neither did any of the other cookies I had. The only saving grace was the chocolate cookie as it tasted like a brownie. I'd be willing to come in person and try them myself freshly made. But until then my review will be one star. It sucks it seems like there was great potential here, I guess that's why you don't eat cookies from a friend of a friend.

From cookies to tarts, to cupcakes and cookies, their goods never disappoint. Most recently I purchased a one of their cream fruit cakes for my mom's birthday and I loved it. Light vanilla sponge filled with a vanilla custard type filling and more on top adorned with a variety of fruit. A lovely summer treat that didn't leave us overly full or buzzy with too much sugar. The cakes come in two sizes and I purchased the smaller of the two (it was 8 inch, I think? Maybe 6) which admittedly was still pretty pricey so I'd probably only reach for a full cake for special occasions but if you're in the mood for a lil' treat while you're grocery shopping grab yourself a cupcake or cookie from the bakery section.
