I think I've ordered an online pick up order twice and both times I got there and still had to wait for my order but I can give this location some grace. I think what happened to me is that each time I've went in there there was a large order placed right before mine and it only appears to be around two employees working at a time, so I do get the wait. Other than that the food and drinks itself are usually tasty. The apple cream cheese is super good and really pairs well with the their cinnamon raisin bagel. Their other egg sandwiches are super tasty as well! For drinks I usually go with the iced chai tea latte. I I think the latte is good but if you were able to make more modifications it would really take it to the next level. It's a large chain bagel store that is reliable and run well. Most of my reviews for large chains are based off of the staff and the cleanliness. If you are a fan of bagels and good coffee than this place is tailor made for you. The bagels are fresh made daily with a wide assortment to choose from. Coffee is excellent where they make Caribou brand and have a self serve coffee station with multiple flavors/styles to choose from with rotating flavors throughout the week. In particular the bold flavors are full bodied with great taste, just the way I like it. Aside from the bagels and the coffee this restaurant/chain also has a nice assortment of bagel centric breakfast and lunch sandwiches to choose from that is a huge step up from a typical fast food restaurant at a very reasonable cost. In addition to the regular coffee they also have a good selection of cold coffee drinks, lattes and teas to close from. Relative to facility and wait staff, the restaurant is very bright and clean with an efficient walk up ordering counter where the folks that work here have always been friendly and courteous. Location is great with an easy in/out location on Richardson Rd and is a great spot place to bring your laptop and get some work done while getting a quick bite to eat. Overall not a bad place to stop in for a quick bite to eat that is a step up from your typical fast food joint at a reasonable cost. This place SUCKS. They removed the tables so it's take out only, which isn't that big of a deal but man, they can't do anything right here. They failed to ask what bagel I wanted my sandwich on, so I got some random bagel. I asked that my bagel not be toasted...it was toasted. I asked for a vanilla flavored coffee; I got hazelnut and there's no creamer out on the coffee bar. Coffee tastes like garbage anyways. Bought a fountain drink. Two out of order, coke was completely flat and no ice, so threw it out. Sprite nozzle shot syrup out on me as well, so a pretty good morning. I love Caribou coffee! We used to have so many locations but they closed all of them in Michigan. I recently learned that Einstein now serves their coffee and I was ecstatic! I would have given this place five stars, but the Caribou menu is limited. Still, I got the iced mocha and it was delicious. Like the Caribou of yesteryear they have white, milk, and dark chocolate for their drinks with the little chips to melt in the drink. The drink was very satisfying. My review is only based on the coffee but the food looks really good. They had a wide variety of cream cheeses including smoked salmon and jalapeño. The baked goods looked great. I would love to try the spinach and cheese pastry and the mini chocolate chip coffee cake. I'll be back for more coffee and possibly the food as well. read more

I have always had a good experience here, however they were not busy, and I ordered ahead with their app. Upon arrival they were not sure if they even had my order. So I waited for them to make it, then they informed me that they were out of cheddar cheese and the bagel for my sandwich. No problem, I didnt mind the changes. My husband and I stopped in today about 15 minutes before closing time. The girl who helped us, brown hair broads, glasses and a stitch phone case was one of the most impolite people I've encountered. She did not address us at all when we ordered, she had an attitude the entire time, threw the bag at us and then when people walked in 2 minutes before closing she yelled that they were closed. This was my first time eating here. My work had gotten bagels from Einstein before and got me a gift card for my birthday. I enjoy bagels and love bagel sandwiches even more. I ordered the nova lox bagel sandwich (a favorite from South Florida). It was everything I could want in a sandwich. The lox to cream cheese to capers to tomato ratio on a toasted everything bagel was perfect. One thing to note is that the Einstein everything bagel sold at Costco is DIFFERENT than what you get at the actual store. The one at the store is MUCH better and does not have pine nuts. Before leaving I bought some other bagels to go. I got the cheesy hash brown bagel- nothing too spectacular. It tasted like the Asiago bagel, but with more calories. The garlic bagel is great if you like strong flavors. The pretzel bagel tastes as it is described - half bagel, half pretzel. I will certainly be going back! read more

There is Always a very long wait here which is somewhat known with regulars and with Dashers however We were all waiting patiently but after about 10 min of waiting when someone asked her about how much longer longer it nay be she was extremely rude saying how very busy they are today and just wait . A simple " I'm not sure " would have been fine. People go out spend a lot of money on this food and don't appreciate to be treated rudely by staff. And the Dashers come here to serve the food from this place which helps the company make money! And should be equally treated with Respect! I love Einstein, but this location is terrible. I've been here 3 times and each time it gets worse. The first time the worker had a terrible attitude and was rude to customers. She was obviously having a bad day and taking it out on customers. The second time I paid for a large drink and the worker tried to give me a small until I said I ordered a large. He then said no I rang it up a small, but whatever. So then I said no on the receipt it says large. That's just a simple mistake, but don't argue with me about it when it says large on the receipt. He should have double checked the receipt. Now this third time I ordered a bagel and he rang it up the wrong bagel!! So I had to tell them hey I didn't want this bagel type. They fixed that but then they didn't give me my large drink!! They gave me my bagel and said have a nice day. Nothing about my drink that I paid for. So I'm waiting up at the counter to tell them hey I also ordered a large drink that no one is making for me. And all 4 workers look at me and don't say anything. Not can I help you, do you need something else, nothing!!!! The customer service here is terrible and I do not recommend anyone to go to this location. Which sucks because it's the closest location to where I live but I doubt I will be back. We came here over the holidays to visit family in Commerce Township. There is a large variety of options you can get such as sandwiches (avocado, turkey, bacon)... egg sandwiches...classic bagel & spread. I ordered the egg sandwich with mushroom, spinach & swiss on a asiago bagel; it was served warm and delicious! There are a ton of fresh bagels to choose from which make it hard to pick just one...anything from classic everything bagel to jalepeno cheddar bagels! The coffee is fresh and they offer several different kinds, similar to Panera (decaf, dark roast, regular roast, hazelnut&vanilla and a holiday cinnamon)...it is self serve so you can get refills! There are also really good deals that I saw some people come in and pick up.. you can get a dozen bagels and two tubs of smears for ~$15? They also sell many different flavoured smears such as smoked salmon, strawberry, etc. The pricing seemed slightly high as the bagels aren't that big.. my bagel was $4.99 and coffee was ~$2..would be nice if they offered combos for better value. I will definitely be back on future visits to Michigan as this Einstein Bros offers lots of seating and is very clean. read more

I always love starting my morning here with a thin bagel (they take out the center of the bagel if you ask for it think) and coffee. The coffee is very god here. What's worse than a company who prides themselves in their name, is some old grumpy lady named colleen making it even worse. This store is always always short staffed and now that I am convinced that I am being discriminated against regarding trying to use a coupon, I will never visit this store or any associations. The DM Kevin called me and make a mockery of himself and the company. By telling me I "always try to use a coupon", lol, haven't been there is over two years. I decided to come here with my mom and brother because we had a hankering for some morning bagels. We drove about 10 minutes from Novi/Wixom area to get here, which wasn't bad at all. We walked inside and were immediately impressed: there were so many different kinds of bagels and smears, plus a variety of espresso specialty drinks and a layout of flavored and classic brewed coffees (they had vanilla caramel, I will try that next time) and some yummy teas (sweetened, unsweetened, passion fruit mango). We ordered an Asiago bagel with plain cream cheese, a sesame bagel with cream cheese, a cinnamon sugar bagel with cream cheese, and a medium white chocolate mocha. The bill came to $12.12, but I had a coupon for one free bagel and smear, which brought the total down to $9.40, which wasn't bad at all. We all loved our bagels and the experience in general.
