    Lloyd's Tasty Sandwiches "Web" Presence

I never even made it to the point of ordering. Performed a quick Google search for sandwich places that take cash as payment. The issue was not just the cash policy, it was the way it was handled. It was not clearly disclosed online, staff did not seem to know the answer without checking with a manager, and the tone on the phone made a basic question feel like an inconvenience. For a place built on attracting new customers, that kind of first impression matters. I cannot judge the food, but the customer experience alone was sour enough to make me decide not to check them out in the future.

Lloyd's is a solid, down-to-Earth neighbor sandwich joint! They have a ton of meat and topping options. You can build your own or pick from one of their already curated classics. Either way, they'll build it fresh on the spot. If you're not that hungry, you can just get a half. My friend and I loved this option! The staff seems to be in good spirits. They'll gladly share their favorites with you and try to help you decide on the best sandwich for your liking. The cashier helped me land on the Reuben! He said, "It's one of our most common orders, and I think we do it pretty well." Sold me. And guess what? It was exactly that. My friend got a cold fully loaded turkey sandwich, and I have to say, "It was the move." She seemed to be very satisfied! I'll be getting that next time. MY FAVORITE PART: The vibe! There's no big frills here, and I love that. It reminded me of The Hub from That 70's Show with retro sitting and a few games in the back. Just a chill place to hangout with friends and have a bite!

I'm so glad I got to try this hidden gem in the old town area! We got in 20 mins after opening and looked like we were 1 of the 1st customers. Shortly after a lot more people trickled in. It's a small deli bar that has a very hospitable feel. The ONLY 1 girl who did everything; (bless her heart) took orders and made all the sandwiches on her own was amazing. I watched her make about 8 sandwiches in 30 mins without breaking under pressure. She deserves a raise! All heroes don't wear capes! We ordered 2 full sandwiches which are very generous portions! It was about $30 for both which is pretty reasonable. They are so big and filled with deli meats! You basically choose your style of sandwich or can build your own. Sounds weird but even after choosing your base sandwich, you still have to choose your veggies and sauces which I thought was odd but then was sort of glad since my sandwich came out so bomb! We ordered the Gus and Colorado Club they were so delicious and 2 people can easily share a sandwich. Only downfall was the sandwiches are really cold and wish they could've been at least room temperature and not necessarily warmed up. Delicious!

Was searching for a quick and yummy sandwich place today and stopped here because of its great location. We both ordered a turkey sandwich with bacon and ranch. One of us got a wrap and one of us got the sandwich on wheat bread. It was weird because the wrap in the sandwich, which we both paid the same for and got the same kind, we're completely different sizes. The wrap was much smaller than the sandwich. They did have good bread bread as it seemed super fluffy and huge. The sandwiches were piled high with meat and veggies. However, the service wasn't great, and the food was less than memorable. We couldn't even taste the ranch on the sandwiches, and the whole thing was pretty darn flavorless. It needed like salt vinegar or something. There was just no flavor. Maybe even offering it toasted? It just seemed like so plain and boring, especially for the price of almost $20 a piece when we got one sandwich a chips and a drink. I think just super expensive for what it is and nothing drawing me back to come again.

Best sandwiches around!!! They offer so many options and build your own. The sandwiches are huge! It is located in olde town Arvada next to the 12 Volt. Very clean, with bar seating as well as table seating and outdoor patio. They also serve beer and liquor, candy, chips, energy drinks, soda, tea, juice. There are 2 dart boards and a foosball table. Great, casual place with awesome sandwiches!

Pretty good place to go when you're craving a sandwich! They have a variety of special sandwiches to choose from or you can make your own. I only wish they had more of a variety of bread choices - white, wheat, or rye bread. I like that you can get a 1/2 sandwich. They are pretty decently sized so a half was plenty. It's at a great location in Olde Town Arvada with even some patio seating for a nice warm day. I will definitely be back!

Menu! Lots of options. You can build your own sandwich or they have some creations to choose from.

This sandwich shop has been in Arvada for little while and I've been meaning to try it out. I was surprised to find it wasn't entered as a business on Yelp already. I had the North of I-70 sandwich with provolone on wheat. A classic Italian sandwich but I tried to make it healthy with wheat bread. It was really good! Fresh bread. Lots of options for vegetables and sauces to add on for free. Fast service. She answered all my questions. There was a pickle bar at the end of the counter with tons of different peppers, pickles, giardiniera, etc. and big to go containers to put it in. All super yummy. It's located right by the G line stop in Olde Town Arvada, next to 12 Volt Tavern (I have my suspicions they are related).

I had it saved but couldn't quite remember why...until we turned the corner and saw a line out the door around noon on a Sunday. Normally that might be a dealbreaker, but once we saw the food coming out, we were all in, it looked way too good to pass up. The menu is stacked: everything from sweet pastries to savory sandwiches and even pizzas on what looked like fresh, fluffy focaccia. I went with the prosciutto sandwich (prosciutto, cheese, pesto on focaccia), and it was incredible--simple, fresh, and packed with flavor. My girlfriend had the ham sandwich on a baguette, which was just as good. We were also tempted by the turkey and some seasonal options, so we'll definitely be back to try more. We couldn't leave without grabbing a couple pastries. The almond croissant was a hit (my girlfriend saved it for the next morning and loved it), and the standout for me was the cinnamon white chocolate cookie--kind of like a snickerdoodle but with white chocolate chips. Easily a top tier cookie. Between the quality, variety, and how clearly everything is made with care, this place jumped straight to the top of my list. Worth the wait, worth the hype, and absolutely worth a return trip.

I sure was one of them today as when I stepped in it was past 2pm. What I had in mind was (of course) all gone which forced me to go some alternative option. I hence ended up with one of the vanilla custard buns and the gouda baguettes. Did I regret? Nope, it is quite the opposite of it. The vanilla custard bun was simply the right size for me (I not too long ago had just had my late breakfast so I was still quite full from it.) Perfectly brown on some of the custard on top. This Portuguese style dessert is a staple at any bakery or dessert shop. It's moist and yet the flaky out layers made the perfect sound as I bit into it. As of this writing, I haven't had the baguette yet but I can only imagine how delicious it would be (as the kind lady upfront was telling other customer that.) For a great business like GetRight's, I do the drive to get to it from my southeast Denver home. It's my utmost duty to support them.

We ordered 24 wings for 3 of us. Just the right amount as the wings are pretty meaty and good sized. We actually had a couple leftover to take home. We tried the boss sauce and buffalo hot. We liked that combination. The french fried were nice and crispy rippled ones. The employee also offered to let us try two kinds of ranch sauces, one individually pre-packaged and one they had poured into a cup. There's a water dispenser that you can get your own water. They also have a free video game that is fun to play while you're waiting for the wings to come out. They simply Do Not care about general food safety getting a hot meal here is rather risky I will explain why. My friend was a cook here for a short while and quit on them once he realized they care nothing about serving food that is safe to eat, he saw them do sooo many things that would easily make the food contaminated and unsafe to eat and somehow that was there process of doing things. Here are a couple examples of menu items one should try to steer clear of Chicken parm sandwich- they cook off a large batch of the chicken cutlets and let them sit at room temp for a hour or two until someone orders one they refries them for a minute or so, your supposed to keep food hot once it is cooked especially chicken to leave cooked chicken at room temp for so long is extremely risky to the public's health. Meatball sandwich- they leave there meatballs on the hot line all day then they save all of the hot food items from the day and reuse them the next day without properly cooling any of the food and the cooks will leave these item sit out at room temp for about 45 mins before even putting them into the cooler. Many issues with this practice first of all hot food should be discarded after 5 hours according to the health department because after 5 hours it will start growing bacteria, to leave it on a hot line all day then save them for the next day and not even cool them down properly is Crazy risky to people's health and they do not just do this with the meatballs they do it for many of there hot dishes they are used for days on in, not properly cooled and not properly tracked for how many times it has been reheated and such me they keep them in the same pans it's flat out gross. Other issues my friend encountered there was never seeing anyone at all wash there hands at any point in time, a ancient dishwashing machine that didn't clean anything at all it didn't even get hot so half of there dishes are greasy and have food residue on them, in his short time there he saw people fired for no reason what's so ever from what he was told the owner fires people left and right and doesn't even give reasons as to why, that's why they have ads up on indeed looking for employees 24/7.
