    Lloyd's Tasty Sandwiches "Web" Presence

I never even made it to the point of ordering. Performed a quick Google search for sandwich places that take cash as payment. The issue was not just the cash policy, it was the way it was handled. It was not clearly disclosed online, staff did not seem to know the answer without checking with a manager, and the tone on the phone made a basic question feel like an inconvenience. For a place built on attracting new customers, that kind of first impression matters. I cannot judge the food, but the customer experience alone was sour enough to make me decide not to check them out in the future.

Lloyd's is a solid, down-to-Earth neighbor sandwich joint! They have a ton of meat and topping options. You can build your own or pick from one of their already curated classics. Either way, they'll build it fresh on the spot. If you're not that hungry, you can just get a half. My friend and I loved this option! The staff seems to be in good spirits. They'll gladly share their favorites with you and try to help you decide on the best sandwich for your liking. The cashier helped me land on the Reuben! He said, "It's one of our most common orders, and I think we do it pretty well." Sold me. And guess what? It was exactly that. My friend got a cold fully loaded turkey sandwich, and I have to say, "It was the move." She seemed to be very satisfied! I'll be getting that next time. MY FAVORITE PART: The vibe! There's no big frills here, and I love that. It reminded me of The Hub from That 70's Show with retro sitting and a few games in the back. Just a chill place to hangout with friends and have a bite!

I'm so glad I got to try this hidden gem in the old town area! We got in 20 mins after opening and looked like we were 1 of the 1st customers. Shortly after a lot more people trickled in. It's a small deli bar that has a very hospitable feel. The ONLY 1 girl who did everything; (bless her heart) took orders and made all the sandwiches on her own was amazing. I watched her make about 8 sandwiches in 30 mins without breaking under pressure. She deserves a raise! All heroes don't wear capes! We ordered 2 full sandwiches which are very generous portions! It was about $30 for both which is pretty reasonable. They are so big and filled with deli meats! You basically choose your style of sandwich or can build your own. Sounds weird but even after choosing your base sandwich, you still have to choose your veggies and sauces which I thought was odd but then was sort of glad since my sandwich came out so bomb! We ordered the Gus and Colorado Club they were so delicious and 2 people can easily share a sandwich. Only downfall was the sandwiches are really cold and wish they could've been at least room temperature and not necessarily warmed up. Delicious!

Best sandwiches around!!! They offer so many options and build your own. The sandwiches are huge! It is located in olde town Arvada next to the 12 Volt. Very clean, with bar seating as well as table seating and outdoor patio. They also serve beer and liquor, candy, chips, energy drinks, soda, tea, juice. There are 2 dart boards and a foosball table. Great, casual place with awesome sandwiches!

Was searching for a quick and yummy sandwich place today and stopped here because of its great location. We both ordered a turkey sandwich with bacon and ranch. One of us got a wrap and one of us got the sandwich on wheat bread. It was weird because the wrap in the sandwich, which we both paid the same for and got the same kind, we're completely different sizes. The wrap was much smaller than the sandwich. They did have good bread bread as it seemed super fluffy and huge. The sandwiches were piled high with meat and veggies. However, the service wasn't great, and the food was less than memorable. We couldn't even taste the ranch on the sandwiches, and the whole thing was pretty darn flavorless. It needed like salt vinegar or something. There was just no flavor. Maybe even offering it toasted? It just seemed like so plain and boring, especially for the price of almost $20 a piece when we got one sandwich a chips and a drink. I think just super expensive for what it is and nothing drawing me back to come again.

Pretty good place to go when you're craving a sandwich! They have a variety of special sandwiches to choose from or you can make your own. I only wish they had more of a variety of bread choices - white, wheat, or rye bread. I like that you can get a 1/2 sandwich. They are pretty decently sized so a half was plenty. It's at a great location in Olde Town Arvada with even some patio seating for a nice warm day. I will definitely be back!

Menu! Lots of options. You can build your own sandwich or they have some creations to choose from.

This sandwich shop has been in Arvada for little while and I've been meaning to try it out. I was surprised to find it wasn't entered as a business on Yelp already. I had the North of I-70 sandwich with provolone on wheat. A classic Italian sandwich but I tried to make it healthy with wheat bread. It was really good! Fresh bread. Lots of options for vegetables and sauces to add on for free. Fast service. She answered all my questions. There was a pickle bar at the end of the counter with tons of different peppers, pickles, giardiniera, etc. and big to go containers to put it in. All super yummy. It's located right by the G line stop in Olde Town Arvada, next to 12 Volt Tavern (I have my suspicions they are related).

I drove up from Arvada with my wife to give them a try and she ordered the cheese curds as well. Being from Chicago, I finally felt I walked into my home. If the owner is at home, then he/she can rest assured they hired the right group to run this place. The place is clean (including the restroom), staff were excellent and there was plenty to look at while you wait. He looks like Superman flying over the dirt! Trying to make sense of the wall menu was difficult. Almost too many as to be confusing because several sandwiches are similar in content. The huge menu on the wall doesn't give prices for all the items and it's very deceptive in my opinion. Our bill for a Chicago dog, a pastrami sandwich and a Cuban sandwich with one order of fries and 3 drinks came to over $50 which is stupid pricey IMHO. There were at least 5 people working behind the counter and our order came out fairly fast. I felt the sandwiches were very skimpy on the meat and nothing came with a side included. The Cuban sandwich was underwhelming and not much flavor. If you want a wonderful deli sandwich go to The Bagel Deli off Hampden and I-25. The absolute best in my opinion.

With a lively interior, hip music and a 90's type vibe, the energy here is high. The hostess was helpful, shared opinions and asked me questions about what I liked and did not steer me to as specific selection. Families, runners, women groups and Uber eat drivers are enjoying the chill vibe with hip music playing in the background. The selection was not easy as several combinations were intriguing and did not sound typical but innovative. The lemongrass beefy crunch with lemongrass braised beef, herbed slaw, maple orange vinegarette, pickled carrots and daikon, 5-spiced crispy onions, mayo on a pressed garlic focaccia was a must try. It is a major favor bomb! The meat was juicy, good hints of lemongrass, a light / fluffy focaccia and crispy, attention grabbing onions. HOMERUN and a true visionary with this concept. Those lucky enough to live in the Denver area, you should treat yourself at Obie B for a great meal. I will definitely be returning and trying several other gems. It was such a large piece of bread that I finally just opened it and ate the insides. Way too much bread. If I ever end up back there I will get the cheeseburger. You order at the counter, grab a number, and then find a table. Seating was filling up quickly, but we managed to snag one. I went with the Focaccia & Mozzarella, and wow. The house-made focaccia might be some of the best I've ever had, soft, fresh, and with that perfect bounce you want from focaccia. It's filled with fresh mozzarella and spinach pesto, and I added chicken for extra protein. The sandwich is huge, easily big enough to split with someone. The sandwich itself is on the pricier side ($17 + $6 for chicken), but the quality is there. You can also add prosciutto for less, which I'd definitely consider next time. The house pickles on the side were gas. We also grabbed a half loaf of sourdough for around $6, which I thought was a great option. My fiancée and I sometimes struggle to finish a full loaf, so being able to buy half was perfect. I had some toasted with breakfast the next morning, and the sourdough was excellent too. They also have a great-looking pastry selection, and I'm already looking forward to coming back to work my way through the other sandwiches, both grilled and cold.
