I developed an extremely painful, very swollen, pus-filled dental abscess late last month, and called Fuller Smiles to see if they could have me come in that day to have it get evaluated or drained. I was told by the receptionist that no one could see me same day, and since it was a Friday I could check back on Monday. The abscess was swollen and painful and if left untreated can cause more infection, loss of the tooth, and sepsis, and I pointedly asked the receptionist so I can't be seen even if it's an abscess and a dental emergency? To which the receptionist replied no and asked me to check back three days later when they're open again on Monday. Of course, I found a different facility and got it drained that day and was confirmed by the other dentist of the abscess. I then went back to this Fuller Smiles a few days later to get it evaluated by Dr. Katie, my usual dentist, and she did a CT scan for me and referred me to an endodontist. I called the receptionist at Fuller Smiles today and asked if the results of my CT scan could be sent to the endodontist or to myself to show the endodontist so they could get a complete picture of what's going on. The receptionist then tried to tell me I didn't get a CT scan done, when I know I did because I was literally in the machine getting it done a few weeks ago. I then told her the date of the test and she found the record but then told me she couldn't send it over to me because of software issues, even though it is my legal right to get a copy of my imaging tests. I asked her how the endodontist would be able to evaluate me then without having my test results and she basically told me to get another repeat CT scan done there, without any regard to any unnecessary radiation exposure that would mean or if insurance would cover it. Overall I thought the dentists here were great, but Jackie at the front desk was very unsympathetic and unhelpful, and I am considering taking my business elsewhere just so I don't have to deal with her anymore.

Amber followed up immediately with an email providing details of what should be done prior to the appointment, i.e. shaving, exfoliating, etc. The day before, I received a text reminder. Nice touch. After arriving onsite I met Amber. Big, bright smile and immediately I was comfortable. I'm not modest, but the fact remains that you're getting down to your skivvies in front of a stranger, so feeling at ease that quickly is a gift. She thinks of every detail, explains what she is doing during application and still is able to work in some fun chit chat . She even put a pre-violet spray on my skin to counter the red (Irish baby!). Amber is a true professional, blending my feet and heels afterwards with a soft blender. It's the next morning as I write this, zero orange (miracle!), the color is a golden-I've-been-laying-on-the-beach-for-a-week-brown. She also gave me specific after care inx, which I will follow to a 'T' to retain this beautiful color. Best spray tan ever!! Amber is now on speed dial.
