This is my first time getting teeth whitening! I would definitely recommend it was the easiest fastest 30 minutes and I was able to get a lot of email done while I was waiting. The staff you're super accommodating and they were able to help me each time to have a spit break. This place is super spacious and clean and as you can tell the menu is pretty straightforward. I went in to do the 30 minute deluxebrite and chose this spot specifically because it advertises no sensitivity. However, when I asked about whether I should do the deluxebrite or more intense superbrite if I was worried about sensitivity, the person working there told me I should do the quickbrite 15 minute session. I was confused as it says "no sensitivity" on the website and in the store for the deluxebrite, but she pushed me pretty firmly towards that option. I was worried about whether it would actually make a difference or not in fifteen minutes. Turns out I was right to be worried. While she tested the color of my teeth beforehand she didn't test at all to see if there was any difference. And I honestly can't see any. When I raised this she said oh next time you should definitely do the deluxebrite to see more of a difference. All in all feel a bit led on and like I wasted my money. read more

The guy working (owner?) was so rude. I was dumbfounded. Made an appointment over the phone and when I got there he told me I shouldn't get my teeth whitened due to a couple of factors. First, You could have screened over the phone to determine if I was a candidate. Second, his demeanor and altitude were just so off putting. He couldn't be bothered to explain or say sorry I made the drive. like, thanks for talking to me on the phone, knowing I was making the drive out and then acting like you don't know why I even came and being rude. I was so excited to hear that an organic teeth whitening spot opened up so close to home. I tried the Deluxebrite package, and oh my gosh the results are amazing! My teeth are pearly white just in time for all the holiday celebrations coming up. I had tried whitening strips before with no results, and had heard that other whitening treatments can actually feel uncomfortable, so I never tried it. It was nice to know that britebar is owned and run by a dentist, Edwin, who checked on me throughout. A quick 30 minutes in a cute private egg chair, and I was done! I was beyond pleasantly surprised with my experience with BriteBar. My teeth are fairly white, but I wanted them bright for headshots I was planning to take. I asked my dentist and he said my teeth were "too white" and I wouldn't see good enough of a result. When I found BriteBar, I was already concerned my teeth wouldn't get much brighter, and I questioned a teeth whitening-only business anyway. Wow, I was definitely wrong in my assumptions, and totally blown away. Dr Hakimian was the one to do the procedure and he was awesome. I selected the Superbrite and he asked me about teeth sensitivity. Previously I had used the dentist grade teeth whitening trays, but I was so sensitive that I couldn't do more than 2 days because I would be in pain. So I was concerned about the pain but at least it was one and done. I had absolutely no pain at all! Literally none. The process itself was easy. They just put the gel on, put a mouth guard-like thing in your mouth and you sit there under the light. Next time, I would actively keep my lips open because I could have had even better results at the gumline of my teeth. I would recommend having a podcast or music dialed up because it's hard to use your phone, but the time goes pretty quickly. I definitely noticed a difference right away! And he suggested using the pen every day up until my "event." He said that is what most people do. I have been using the pen nightly (also so easy and only 15 mins) and the results continue to get better - even with drinking coffee in the am. Definitely worth the money. This was a pretty effortless process to get great results. And Dr Hakimian was super nice and chill. I will be back for sure. read more

Came in a day before my birthday trip. I paid $150 for the DeluxeBrite. So first things first, I arrive at 10:45 for a 11am appt. Their website and times on the door says they are open at 10am. They were closed. Decided to call the number on the door and its linked to a cellphone. Gentleman that answered said he was on his way, so i asked are you guys not open at 10, he said "we'll be open for your 11 o clock appointment". Hmm interesting response but got it. I walked to Starbucks, came back and Wah-La, he was there. So he explained their serviced they provided, he explained the parts on my teeth that may accidentally over bleach, and then guided me on my way to an egg chair. (This process took about 10mins, this is why i arrived slightly early. Just in case we had some things to go over before we started). He sent me to brush and come on over. So i sat, he applied the whitening bleach on my teeth and my 30mins began. (Let me be the first to say it is so difficult trying not to drool and trying not to swallow this stuff). The chairs aren't the most comfortable, i do wish they tilted your head back slightly to help prevent drooling. (I didn't drool because i would try to adjust sometimes. But my neck definitely got stiff from sitting in the same position.) we took 3 spit breaks. After we were done, i didn't notice a difference, i didn't even see the "over bleached" parts that he claimed would be there. He provided me with a bleach pen, to use at home (comes with all packages) but i cant wrap my mind around pen bleaching your teeth if this process didn't work. It makes me believe im going to be painting my teeth to get a whiter smile. ‍ Anyhow, the guys was nice, i just feel like i wasted $150. And its very quiet in there, i would get some sort of entertainment for your customers or a chair that rocks back a little so we can dose off lol. read more

Yay, a britebar closer to me! Brite bar is a dentist-owned organic teeth whitening situation. The employees are all dental assistants which is pretty professional and greatly appreciated. This isn't the mall kiosks where some random worker guesses and hopes for the best for your teeth. The proof is in the pudding. My teeth stay white, no sensitivity or enamel damage (those strips aren't great for your teeth long term), the ZOOM treatments are intense and for those with extremely moderate stained teeth. Think 10+ years of staining caused by smoking, coffee, etc. If you have sensitive teeth like me yet want white teeth, come here. I stopped using crest whitening strips due to extreme sensitivity. This is something I do every 4-6 months. I drink tea every day, maybe some coffee. I get the $199 one because of the remineralization (helps with any sensitivity). Absolutely loved my experience here! I came upon Britebar when walking down Montana in Santa Monica. As soon as I got home, I googled this place and also came on Yelp to check out the reviews. Couldn't find a bad review so I knew I had to book a session and check it out. I went with the 30 min session for $149, and it was so worth it. Dr. Edwin's bedside manner was top notch and he was super accommodating/ helpful. Was pleasantly surprised with my results and loved getting the free touch up pen to take home and use when I needed to. Absolutely no sensitivity whatsoever during or after my session, which was a nice surprise since the whitening stripes and trays have caused some of that when I've used in the past. I had surprisingly WHITE results after a 30 min treatment! Like another reviewer said, i wish I'd snapped a "before" photo. Plus, Dr Edwin is a total gem. I had walked by many times, and finally wandered in one day. Dr Edwin answered all my questions and was not at all pushy -- he seemed very authentic, sincere in his enthusiasm, and honest w/ an assessment of expectations. It took me a few more weeks before I finally decided to have a treatment. Dr Edwin was so customer service oriented (!) and made the experience comforting. I am a regular coffee and wine drinker, so I have wanted whiter teeth. Yet, I had TERRIBLE (!!) pain after a whitening treatment from *THE* LA "celebrity dentist" (& arrogant), so I've been nervous to try anything ever again. No pain at BriteBar for me - huge relief!! The mouthpiece is a little awkward to hold in for 30 min - but Dr Edwin was checking in, wiping my drool, and offering breaks :) For the results I received, it was totally worth it. AND - he gives you a whitening gel & mouthpiece to take home to do "refreshers" until the next treatment.
