My wife decided to surprise me for Father's Day with a white teeth cleaning. I guess she was trying to tell me something and thought this was a better surprise than a massage but in reality it was... I had always wanted to do this but never did! Anyway we pulled up to this amazing place called smiles lab! Right as soon as I walked in, everyone smiled and put me to ease as I was a little nervous doing this! Every step was explained to me from start to finish! My wife and kids made fun of me the entire time from the silly piece I had to put in my mouth but their laughter was worth it and the end results were AMAZING!!!! I can't wait to come back and thank you again!

I forgot the young ladies name. She is very nice.. I had a slight burning on my gums and she rectified that with vitamin E oil. Overall, treatment was very easy simple to do. I was told around 10 shades brighter. This is six or seven.. for what I paid I'm happy. Other said they keep going back and get more and more results. Maybe I will go back because I do want whiter. Overall, though good experience. 3.5 stars.

Great place to get your teeth whitened. Only took about an hour. I had two treatments 15 minutes each and then they take 10 minutes and they re-mineralize your teeth. Joanna was great, very conscientious and checked on me many times. read more

Joanna was great and a fun personality to interact with. I like that their treatment really is sensitivity catered. This is my second time being serviced here and I've had no sensitivity after. I can't tell you I saw a huge difference in shade, but my teeth started at a S6. I felt like the difference was more immediate/short term. I came in not knowing what to expect and if it would work, and booked a double session. After speaking with Johana she recommended 1 single session because of the shade of my teeth. She didn't try to upsell me either which I was pleasantly happy with. She was very transparent about the whole process and the results speak for themselves. After being at a shade of 10, I went down to a shade of 6 within 15 minutes, and walked away very pleased. Will definitely come back and recommend my friends read more

I just got the double session treatment and my teeth definitely got whiter (4-5 levels brighter). Although I didn't really have high expectation because I have done teeth whitening before at a different teeth whitening office and it didn't make any difference, this time I was able to see the difference and I am very satisfied. There was a little bit of downtime for me about a half day. My teeth, gum and nerve were all hurting for about 6-7 hours, but it went away within a day. I will go back in 1-2 months to get my teeth whiter. read more

I love this place! I found out about them through their IG. They had a special deal at that time, which covered 5 treatments. Whenever I went, the employees who were working took good care of me; and they also showed me the noticeably different improvements in the color of my teeth. The facility is clean, and there is good parking in the back. read more

I got great results with the teeth whitening treatment (double session) even though I hadn't had it done in about 7-8 years so my teeth had gotten really dark (28-30 on their teeth color chart). Now my teeth color is about 20-22 and I am smiling all the time! My gums did feel a little sore afterwards so I took 2 tylenol and I was fine. Went here for the first time today and the service was great! Monica was so sweet and made sure to give me all the information I needed. I totally loved her energy! They have a client parking in the back of the building but it is shared with other stores, so there is a chance of another customer double parking in front of you. There is also street parking. The inside is so much bigger than it appears on the oustide. I got a double session and remineralization. After confirming that my teeth were okay afterwards, I purchased the 5 treatment package. My teeth definitely went up a few shades and hoping to go back regularly. Chairs are really comfortable and basically napped during the process. read more

I love this place. This was the first time in a really long time I had my teeth whitened. I was very nervous because I have really sensitive teeth. I set up a double session with the revitalization. Darmis, the girl who checked me in and set me up was AMAZING. She was so sweet. She made the process so easy and fun. I had no idea what to expect or how it worked. She literally walked me through the whole process! All together I was there about an hour. My teeth lighted about 8 degrees!!! As far as sensitivity goes I was expecting to have my teeth hurt for days. They did get a little sensitive for a few hours but it went away. Super happy with the results. Definitely going to do it again in another moth or so. If you are looking for a place I would really suggest them! read more

This business is incredibly shady. I sense at least 4 worker's rights violations from my last visit. One person on staff running around trying to service multiple people, answer phone calls and book appointments. It's borderline abuse that the one person they had staffed felt so stressed out that they felt as if they couldn't take a break! I blame INCOMPETENT, ABUSIVE management. Do not support this business if you believe in workers rights. Not to mention the 1 shade whiter "results" (at best) are not worth the price tag. STAY AWAY! Total SCAM! read more

I had bought a series of cleanings. My last two were not very successful and the person that was helping me was very inexperienced (Emma). The worst part is I asked the manager to follow up with me the next day so I could share with her my experience and never even bothered to call me. I guess customer relations are not that important. I would not recommend this business going forward to anyone and I will also write the review on Yelp. If I had least received a call I would have been more understanding. I was given the manager/owners card from Damaris but no one ever contacted me about my experience. Customer service is very important in a small neighborhood business. read more

I had a amazing experience here! I forgot her name but she made me feel very comfortable for my first experience. I bought the a groupon deal for $100 that includes a 30 minute whitening and mineralization at the end. The whole process was easy and painless. Which is why I came here. You have the option to apply the gel on yourself but I had the girl do it for me. After everything finished, I actually saw results! My teeth weren't that yellow to began with but I went up 6 shades. The second to the most white! There was no sensitivity at all either. When you check out they give you a option to buy more from $36 for one. read more

I felt a little skeptical at first because I was worried that it would not work. I found a Groupon for a 30-minute whitening session + Remineralization at Smile Labs and decided to go for it. I called in and made an appointment for Saturday morning. I never professionally whiten my teeth before but I wanted to try it. I tried those Crest teeth whitening strips and hated them. Not only did they hurt, they were just awful. I really did not know what to expect from Smile Labs LA, but I read the great reviews and I felt a bit more comfortable. I arrived right on time and Maria was on duty. I filled out a short waiver and got started right away. I lied in a chair and brushed my teeth with this finger brush thing that they provided, and wore these spunky green glasses and got started. The session included two 15 minute whitening session plus a 10 minute remineralization. The session went by fast and it was painless. Maria came and checked up on me a few times and explained the steps. She was great! My teeth are a lot whiter now! I wish I took a before and after picture, but I am very satisfied with how professional and clean the facility was. I definitely would come back. read more

They moved new locations ! Very nice service ! I want to recommend this place ! The parking is rear . And you can come here at walk in. But I want to recommend to make an appointment. My session is double treatment . I bought $199 for 4 times. It takes 12 min and my teeth getting little white before . It's NOT very white but you know price is cheap so I am happy. read more

I was nervous about teeth sensitivity so intentionally booked at the Gleamery after reading reviews…read more( a bit of a hike for me as I'm from Santa Barbara). Let me start by saying that this is NOT a relaxing process, however the staff at The Gleamery do their best....I was rigged up with compression boots, heated/ vibrating goggles, and constant checks by the hygienist. The only reason the process wasn't relaxing is due to the constant swallowing that is necessary throughout the process so as not to allow too much saliva to accumulate in the mouth and mix with the gel ( if I got TOO relaxed, I swallowed the bitter gel taste, which quickly jolted me back to reality). Note that I also opted for a cleaning, which was painless as well. While my results are not " Hollywood White" as I was expecting, they look natural and most importantly I experienced ZERO tooth sensitivity, nothing short of a miracle for me. The Gleamery sent me home with a goody bag that included sensitivity trays which I will save for my at home whitening between professional visits. Overall, a great experience although it dawned on me after I left that I had paid for a 60 minute teeth whitening session and only received 40 mins. ‍

They check you in and call you within 5-10 minutes of checking you in. Also, there is street parking near the building. Dr. Stan is professional, knowledgeable, and truly takes the time to explain procedures in a way that's easy to understand, which immediately put me at ease. He is very gentle and very detail-oriented, and you can tell he genuinely cares about his patients' comfort and results. I had dental implants done and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final placement, Dr. Stan was incredibly thorough and reassuring. He took the time to explain every step of the implant process, answered all of my questions, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout. The procedure itself was also much smoother than I expected. The implant looks and feels completely natural, and the quality of his work is outstanding. I would 100% come to Dr. Stan again for my implants. Every time I called about a bill, I got a different explanation. The numbers moved around more than a politician's campaign promises. I'd ask a simple question and somehow leave the conversation with three new questions and less confidence than when I started. And the callbacks? Let's just say if I ever go missing, I hope the police don't use this office's billing department to follow up on leads. The frustrating part is that the actual dental care was excellent. I recently discussed dentists with a friend and realized I had never shared my experience publicly. In fact, I had written down most of my thoughts shortly after the events occurred but never got around to posting them. I also want to clarify that my concern was never whether a procedure was covered by insurance. My concern was that I often felt encouraged toward higher-cost treatments without receiving explanations that gave me confidence they were necessary. For example, when I was told I needed a deep cleaning, I don't recall being given a clear explanation based on the condition of my teeth at the time beyond the fact that I had received one previously. Regarding the Invisalign issue, my frustration was not the outcome itself, but how it was handled. I raised concerns beforehand, incurred additional expense afterward, and felt dismissed when I returned seeking help. I also noticed that your response did not address one of the main points in my review: the way additional services were often presented as being "free" or costing very little because they could be applied against the $150 deposit or membership credit I had already paid. Regardless of intent, that approach never felt transparent to me and contributed significantly to my loss of trust in the practice. I recognize that many patients have had positive experiences with TruGlo. My review simply reflects my own experience and the reasons I ultimately chose to seek care elsewhere. The offices are beautiful (especially the Beverly Hills location), the staff is friendly, and the reviews are stellar. Unfortunately, after being a patient for several months, I completely lost trust in the practice and ultimately switched dentists. A few examples: 1) The upselling and pricing explanations never sat right with me. One of the first recommendations I received was for a deep cleaning, which is significantly more expensive than a standard cleaning. When I asked why it was necessary, the primary explanation seemed to be that I had received one in the past. Maybe there were legitimate reasons, but I never felt like I received a clear explanation based on the actual condition of my teeth and gums. In fact, the hygienist also said she could not do a standard cleaning because she could 'be held liable'. I was shocked. More broadly on more than one occasion, I often felt pressured to add services and then told they were essentially "free" or "only a few dollars" because the charges could be applied against my $150 deposit or membership credit. That logic never made sense to me. It's still my money. It felt like the office would recommend additional treatments and then use money I had already paid to make the cost sound insignificant. The whole thing felt more like a sales tactic than transparent healthcare pricing. What really made me question things was when I showed my treatment plan and charges to a few dentist friends. Several of them were surprised by some of the extra fees and told me those were things many dentists typically don't charge for separately. I understand every office is different, but by that point it was hard not to feel like the practice was looking for every opportunity to bill for something. 2) I lost confidence after a crown procedure. Before getting a crown, I specifically told the dentist that I used Invisalign and even brought my trays with me. I was assured the crown would be shaped so my trays would still fit afterward. The crown itself was fine, but my Invisalign trays no longer fit. I ended up having to spend hundreds of dollars and significant time getting new trays made. To make matters worse, the office later told me they would try to help by providing a complimentary scan. Based on that conversation, I made a special trip back to the office, only to be told when I arrived that they couldn't do it after all. The whole interaction felt very dismissive. No one seemed particularly concerned that I had made the trip based on their earlier assurances, and there was little effort to take accountability for the situation. 3) The stellar reviews make more sense now. Patients are offered complimentary services (such as fluoride treatments) in exchange for leaving a review, and you're asked to show the review before receiving the free service. While everyone is free to leave whatever review they want, it definitely made me view the overwhelmingly positive ratings a little differently. To be fair, the office is beautiful and many of the employees are genuinely kind. But between the upselling, the Invisalign issue, the communication problems, and the review incentives, I ultimately decided to take my dental care elsewhere.

Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Unexpected Charges and Lack of Transparency…read more I booked my appointment in person on Tuesday 7/15 because I wasn't sure what to select online for Gel-X removal. I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

The treatment specialists know what they're doing and are very clean....best of all, their prices are MORE than reasonable! I had paid hundreds of dollars for Zoom whitening at my dentist a couple years ago, but decided to not go back because of the cost. I had heard that Smile Labs can get equal or better results for a much MUCH better price. I got the double session with remineralization and would highly recommend that to everyone. The remineralization is KEY if you have sensitive teeth or want to eat/drink teeth staining food the same day...otherwise you have to wait 2 days. Plus you get 50% off when you do it with teeth whitening. Can't say no to that!! Anyway, my results were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I can finally smile with confidence now. The upgrade packages are even more AMAZING!!! Highly suggest upgrading while you're in the store because the offer is valid only at that moment! I got a package of 5! I had an amazing experience at Smile Lab! I went in for teeth whitening and couldn't be happier with the results--my smile looks noticeably brighter and more polished. The process was smooth from start to finish. David walked me through each step with care and made sure I felt comfortable the entire time. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touch of providing lip balm to ease the impact of having my mouth stretched during the treatment. He even gave me two little key chains for my girls - very thoughtful! Getting to Smile Lab was super easy, and there was plenty of street parking available around lunchtime. I've been going to Smile Labs for a while now, and I've got to say... It's the best teeth whitening place in LA. I love their west LA location. Super clean. The entire staff is so sweet and they all know what they're doing. They are very professional. Linda whitened my teeth the other night and was very attentive and detailed. I always do the double session plus remineralization. The remineralization is a MUST, otherwise 48 hours with no coffee, tea, berries, etc....I am very happy with Smile Labs and will continue coming here every couple months for a touch up. Their pricing is more than reasonable. My dentist would charge me $500 for the same exact results....plus I really don't like the dental office. Always long waits. But then again....Who does?! read more

So here is my engineeringly formulated 5-star review: 1. Start for the Service - I don't remember the person who helped me and my wife, but she provided a great service. 2. Star for the Result - my teeth got 8-10 shades whiter 3. Star for the Office/Location - easy parking, great clean office 4. Star for the Experience - no hiccups, no delays, I and my wife started 3 minutes apart and were out it in 30 minutes or so. 5. Outstanding star (i.e. as good as it gets) - they have Marvin toothpaste in stock. The other closest place you can buy them at would be Eataly in Century City with a 30% markup. I have to say, this was a really pleasant experience. Friendly staff (Jessica, I believe) - waited about 3 minutes, then went through two rounds. Teeth are very obviously whiter with no pain and the discomfort is probably a 2/10 during the procedure (no teeth pain at all but your lips hurt from wearing the mouth protector). But for less than $100 and an hour of my time, having 3 years' worth of cigs and coffee stains off my teeth was definitely worth it. read more

By far my favorite teeth whitening spot. Easy and fast way to brighten my smile. In and out within 45 minutes. It was like getting a haircut. Did the double session (all in one seating) and got 6 shades whiter. Didn't have much sensitivity which I was surprised about because I thought I had sensitive teeth.
