I cook a pork butt in my Le Creuset to make the most delicious pulled pork! I buy this frequently at the Davis Farmer's Market. Delicious.

This is a weekly stop for me at the Sunday Farmer's Market. Their bacon, tenderloins and ribs are excellent and never disappoint.

Just wow. This review is for the Asian Pacific Culture Fest. The brisket was unbelievably tender…read moreand juicy, with the kind of flavor that makes you stop mid bite. The sisig chicken was equally impressive, packed with flavor from the Asian marinade and finished with a delicious smoky char. Nox Barbeque truly gets it right. As an Asian American, I've always believed barbecue should come with rice, and I've never really connected with traditional coleslaw. Nox absolutely nailed the balance with their light Asian style slaw and perfectly seasoned rice. It felt both comforting and thoughtfully done. Thank you for creating a barbecue experience that feels both elevated and familiar.

They have a beautiful inside seating area as well as outside, so it really gives you that full experience special on these beautiful summer days. The food they have is absolutely incredible. I mean the portions are huge compared to the prices. It's honestly not that bad. It's also packed with flavor. It is so juicy and fall off the bone a carnivore's dream honestly Will love to come back here again sometime it was a incredible experience

My first time trying them was yesterday. I ordered the Oxtails, yellow rice with pigeon peas, and…read morethe mac. I was not a fan of the mac and cheese, the rice seemed bland, but I used the juice from the oxtails and it tasted good after that. I will say the main issue I had was the oxtails were really small, like mini. I have never seen oxtails so small. So for the container it came in, which was a small sized meal prep container, and how small those oxtails were, they definitely could have filled the container with more than six mini oxtails. So hopefully they'll see this and do better on that part, overall the flavor was really good. I'm not a fan of plantains, so if it's fried I'm not sure if they're suppose to have a crunch to them or just be soft. For $32 they can give better portions with the oxtails.

I used to work in the area and I happened to see a flag that said "Caribean". My eyes lit up…read morebecause I am of Puerto Rican descent and anything Caribean I will support. Being in Northern California you won't find too many Caribean spots unless it's Jamaican(I love as well). I decided to stop by at lunch time one day and made an online order of just Yellow Rice and Pigeon Peas, Plantains. When I got there the food was ready and I noticed they had Goya sodas. I am not big on soda but I haven't had one in months so I grabbed it. First off let me say the rice was amazing, soft and flavorful. The name Yellow Rice and Pigeon Peas is the same as Arroz con Gandules which is a Puerto Rican staple. The only difference is ours is more Orange due to the Sazon seasoning. The Yellow Rice was still similar and really good. Paintains were fried perfect, really crisp on the edges which I like. Some places leave them soft or too thick which makes it taste doughy! The second time I went I got the rice and plantains but also the Chicken stew and Mac n Cheese. The Chicken stew had a bold taste, not really spicy and you taste the flavor immediately. It was cooked well and chicken was moist, the stew sauce just made it better. The Mac was probably the only dish that was "Okay". This is likely due to my preference for Southern Mac. This Mac was a tad bit runny with cheese and it had a heat to it like Jalapeno Mac. I got the homemade lemonade for my drink, this was different, not bad but again probably due to my preference of Lemonade. It had a sweet kind of Tampico finish lol. I'm used to the sour then sweet finish I guess but it was still decent. Service was exceptional, food came out quick and hot! 4.5 stars would be my rating but I'm not going to give them 4 stars over lemonade and Mac because I still liked both. 4 stars would be a disservice. I noticed that they only had 1 other customer both times I arrived. This place is way too much to not be busy. Maybe it's the location and lack or banner but I drove by recently and I believe there is a new overhead that says "Caribean Fire Grille".... Please support them.
