Right when you walk in you'll feel welcomed because they all greet you right when you open that door! Nothing but good vibes in the shop. Shop has AC and fans so you'll stay cool and comfortable. I took my boyfriend here for a surprise anniversary present. The space itself is hidden upstairs We were greeted as soon as we walked up and the gentleman was sure to follow COVID guideline which I appreciated. My boyfriend said the haircut and beard cut itself was enjoyable and relaxing. He said they even gave a nice little head massage which almost made him fall asleep. His hair looked much better but the beard trim was okay. It was pretty clean but it wasn't something I couldn't do myself. In fact, there was two areas that were missed that we had to shave when we got home. My boyfriend was happy though overall so that's what mattered. He also said the stylist was easy to talk to and he enjoyed his company. He saw Hunter. Hunter recommended some of their products and my boyfriend purchased some styling oil but for the wrong reason. It's a styling oil but it was sold to him under the pretense that it was for the beach to protect from salt water. If he were to use it in that way it would be pointless to use because it would wash all out I think? Like I said, my boyfriend was pleased I just wish they caught the two areas that got missed and I also wish they didn't push any products under false pretenses. The good: Very welcoming and clean atmosphere, got fortunate with parking and the appointment I called in for was the same day, everywhere else had bookings so that was outstanding. The bad: Granted, first time going here, first time getting cut the way I want after explaining simply, I was glad to see my fade turned out okay, but my lining was terrible, it didn't follow my natural line and the corners where the top of my forehead meet is too far lined back. I also asked not to cut the top too short from the rest of the cut, it's the opposite. So with the lining pulled too far back and the front hair being shorter than the rest, I have to wait for the natural line to grow back and wait for the front to catch up to restart the whole style again. For $40, it's a lot, and I get where sometimes cuts don't always turn out just the way you want the first time, but you know best after coming home, washing your hair, putting gel, and seeing what didn't quite turn out the way you wanted. read more

Today was the first time cutting hair at a barbershop since Covid had started. Prior to today I've just been shaving my head at home. After looking at reviews on yelp I decided to give Blend house a try. I ended up making an appointment with Josh since there were a lot of reviews on him. The good thing about this place is if there's an appointment, you get seen right at that time. I've been to other shops in the past where even if I have an appointment I still wait an hour to hour half. Josh did not disappoint with the haircut!! For a young guy he was very professional, listened to what I wanted for my cut and asked questions prior to cutting to verify the style. It's hard for me to find and trust a barber especially with not going to a shop since nov 2019. This is the cleanest fade and lineup I've had! The shop is upstairs in a 2-story building, the stairs are in the back. Disregard the ghetto curbside appearance. Once inside the studio is hip and comfortable. Jordan was his stylist and it was $30. It came out good, although he didn't style with any product after. I had expected more fade on the sides, but I think my husband didn't voice that request clearly. Perhaps since My husband was Getting his 1st haircut in a long time it was best to gradually ease into a new style. Can always go back and cut more off. Started following Dylan (@_dylankeanu) on Instagram after seeing his work pop up on my news feed and became an instant fan of his work and decided to give him a shot! When I got to the shop, every barber there turned from their client and greeted me and every other customer thereafter even if not their own. AWESOME! Shop is impeccable! Although a little difficult to find if you're not familiar with the area, once inside - it was amazing! Clean, spacious & modern. A/C, lots of waiting space, music playing, TV... comfortable for when you're waiting and while getting your service done and if you wanted to bring your family along. I was immediately offered a beverage (I politely declined, but not quite sure what the options would have been) ...either way, another WOW! Dylan was friendly, thoughtful and engaged in conversation the entire time. This review is after my 2nd time here, and I've never gotten so many compliments after my cut until I went to Dylan. After paying, Dylan escorted me out and held the door open for me as I've noticed that this is also a standard having seen all the barbers do this. As I was greeted upon arrival, so too was I bid farewell and a thank you from all the other barbers. I've been with my barber Elvinse for 4 years now. Had everything from a comb over, pompadour, 3 on the top, faux hawk and now a textured top. The most professional barber I know. I have dandruff issues and he gives me advice on hair and scalp care. He really understands your hair and the style that best suits you. I usually book an appointment, clicking the link on his IG. Very easy to do. Honestly parking can be rough, but if you plan accordingly there won't be any issues. The atmosphere is very welcoming. They try to make you feel comfortable and offer refreshments. It's not like other barber shops where you feel out of place. Even if you don't wanna go through Elvinse, I can vouch that his team won't disappoint you.
