I keep giving this place 2nd and 3rd, now a 4th chance. You guys are miserable. Went in to get an evening smoothie and bowl on a Sunday night and my fav staff Ezekiel was working (yay) But the (obviously) new employee, young lady, curly hair in two high buns, hates her job, hates customer service, just ridiculous. Was visibly annoyed ringing up our order, took FOREVER, huffed and puffed when we asked for a bowl and was rude to her staff. How she passed and interview???? What are the standards here? Finally once she attempted to make our drink it was wrong - at that point I had zero interest in waiting in line again to re make it. Mad props to Ezekiel for holding down the shift solo and doing his absolute best to rectify the situation. I would hire him based on his sense of urgency and correct attention to detail. If you're a frequent visitors I suggest buying a reusable cup and bring it on each visit to get a small discount. I prefer using the gift card system to get a discount. Service in this location can vary on the day and time you stop by. Sometimes service is great if it's not too busy or team is right. There's times I've gone during lunch hour and it can be hectic. Lines are long or their transition shifts creating a longer wait. Overall a great stop for a healthy meal on the go. Each smoothie comes with a complementary supplement. I have bad food allergies, for the most part ive been very happy with the service that ive received from blenders. Having allergies means that your really careful what you eat, and like to make sure the people helping you know. Today 3/19/21, I called asking if I could make a order over the phone. Turns out they are only doing "online orders", by a not to nice person over the phone. She told me she would let me order over the phone just this once, but in the future, I would have to order online. I understand that covid has really changed how we do things these days but wow, I wasn't expecting Ordering a smoothie to be like this. Since I was already picking up a pizza for my brother at Antonio's, I decided to drive by and see "How ordering at Blenders" really worked. We have been to many different Blenders locations and have loved them all until now. To begin, when we walked in the (wide open) door, we were greeted with "We're closed." Then they said "we just don't want to have to work." I should have walked out right then, but we were already craving blenders after being out in the 101 degree weather. After getting over the shock of the level of unprofessionalism of the employee (who's name I will not forget), I placed our order and waited. One employee who appeared to be off duty was discussing with the 2 employees currently working, about how they had Covid and should not have been to work without a mask, among other various topics that likely should not be discussed in a work setting. After my order was finished, the employee said very disgruntly "Here's your order." I said Thank You, and she just looked at me. On top of that, of the 3 smoothies and 2 bowls we had, they were quite possibly the worst we have ever had. I know that it's not always fun to be at work, and sometimes you'd rather just talk and hang out with your friends/coworkers, however there's an expectation that when you're working, you actually do your job in a professional or at least respectful manner. We are extremely disappointed with our service and the quality of the items that we purchased. We do not recommend this Blenders location. read more

I love me a good Blenders. As a Santa Barbara local, I've come to really enjoy this smoothie bar which has made itself a local fixture over the past two decades. The pricing is reasonable, the decor is bright and fresh, and the concept itself is perfect. We're always on the go, and it's a great, healthy way to enjoy a meal. Was passing through Buellton yesterday afternoon and the 90 degree heat got us in the mood for a cool beverage. We were going to go to the other smoothie bar in the same shopping center, but then saw a Blenders sign which was curiously two businesses down from the other spot. Competition at its finest? We were the only customers in the shop, and the decor was much the same as all the other Santa Barbara locations. It's like taking a step back into the 90s, but I enjoy it nonetheless. There were three associates working behind the counter when we arrived. The smoothies were made well, but the staff was not very invested. I've enjoyed the consistent enthusiasm of the staff at the other locations; sadly, the vibe was lacking here in Buellton. The gentleman who blended the smoothies looked miserable and didn't acknowledge us when the smoothies were ready, he just kinda glanced our way which was a far cry from the stellar service I've come to expect from their other locations. Our cashier was not only unfriendly, but also failed to ask either of us if we'd like supplements. I didn't realize the latter part until we'd already left. Darn. I may give this spot a try again, though it probably wouldn't be my first choice. I'd implore management to make the customer experience a top priority for their staff. read more

I went in today @ 3:45 pm to order a smoothie, there was only 2 employees working. There were orders ahead of me which is normal. Unlike others Blenders they were very slow, only 1 person taking orders and 1 making the drinks. No body welcomed me in when I entered the store. While I was there for 15 minutes waiting for my drink.. I saw that during those 15 minutes only 1 DRINK WAS MADE ... that's ridiculous!!! I could of spent my whole lunch in there and my drink probably still wouldn't of been made yet. Don't plan on going back I'm glad I asked for my money back and left the store. read more

Strange happening on my first visit to this Blenders. I ordered a large 50/50 with the Total Sup. The customer behind me appeared to be making a return of a drink she had ordered a day or two before. The Blenders workers both turned all of their attention to this customer and left me hanging. The worker blending the drinks abandoned my order all together and started on the replacement order. The worker taking orders had to jump in and pour mine. It was obviously not done correctly as I couldn't suck it through the straw. They left it half ice balls. The little drink that I could get to my mouth was tasty as usual but it wasn't much. When I abandoned the straw and try to wolf it from the cup, it was like eating orange flavored hail. Anyway, probably a rare occurrence but next time take care of the customer who orders and pays for their beverage not the freak cheap skate that returns day old beverages. read more

First of all I was driving up and down the 101 for work to come to Blenders for a refreshing smoothie only to as I was waiting for my order one of the employees saying proudly "I have Covid" and continuing "I didn't have to take time off of work because my manager said it was okay". This person even said he does not clean his utensils and hasn't since he had Covid. So, I'm not the smartest person in the world but I'm pretty sure that's how Covid SPREADS, on top of this, their management allows this!!! This person said his manager is Kelly, this Kelly person should really be re-evaluated and be reconsidered for her position because if she really has been allowing people to work with COVID this should not be the case and it is very sick and dangerous after people have been DYING with this virus. Two ladies working there on a Saturday morning, and both as pleasant as you could hope for. A bright and cheery smoothie shop, and so many healthy / sweet-looking options on the menu board. I asked about sugar content, and they guided me to a brochure on the counter which explained not only the sugars but even more smoothie choices than are on the menu board. Wow! Options overload, I had to ask. They recommended 'Better Finger' which is healthier, thank you. And then they gave me an offer of a boost. I chose the Energy Boost. OMG, that turned out to be a delicious & refreshing treat on my cruise up the midday-sun 101. And way less costly than something so fantastic should have been. I was ordering when this Karen storms in like if she was on speed and order the chic at the register to order a drink for her and if she did she would give her a juicy tip. So the girl did. I found this act so unprofessional and rude. Before the Karen left the girl apologized for waiting when I was the one who ended up waiting for my order.
