The employees are nice and efficient with making our drinks, and we were really appreciative that it was open at all over the holiday weekend. One of my favorite smoothie places hands down and we always make a stop when we head to SB. I know I should branch out, but I always come back to the peanut butter with chocolate on the "creamy" section of the menu. A new chai flavor came along which is quite good and you can never go wrong with the red or blue banana. Made a quick stop here to get a much needed refreshment in preparation for a long drive. I have been working my way around the menu so this time around I got the Tropical Guava; a combination of guava juice, strawberries, banana, non-fat frozen yogurt, and pineapple sherbet. After my first sip, my initial thoughts about the flavor profile was that it reminded me of fruit flavored candies. After a couple more, the tropical guava was definitely similar to the flavor profile of a pink starburst. The staff worked quickly and efficiently; got in and out within a couple of seconds. Don't forget to pick a supplement since you get one for free. I also decided to grab a T-shirt since I'm such a fan boy for this chain. If you didn't already know, you can buy a T-shirt for $12! I was unable to find pictures of it online but it's the same ones the staff members wear. Makes a nice souvenir. We were in Santa Barbara for a day trip. After having a mediocre dinner, we stopped here to get some smoothies before our drive home. A friend said Blenders is one of the best in the area. It was a dark and scenic drive but, we found it. When we arrived, it was pretty quiet. The staff was very pleasant and friendly. I usually like a tropical or anything with pitaya. I decided on the red pineapple: pineapple juice, strawberries, banana and pineapple sherbet. Our group ordered the tropical mango, cranberry and the original. All of us thought the smoothies were refreshing and good. The fruits are definitely fresh. They offer two sizes: 12oz or 24oz. You get a free supplement (boost) with your drink. We enjoyed our drinks and wished there was a franchise in OC. At this time, there are a few locations in Santa Barbara. An excuse to take the drive to this coastal town! We will be back! read more

Great customer service, friendly environment, fast service and economical! We grabbed an açaí bowl, which we modified by adding in some peanut butter and coconut shreds to the base. First time I hear of that, but the result was delicious! We also are used to the fresh fruit added on top, but my strawberries were added to the actual açaí base! Of course there are the obvious reasons I don't purchase smoothies from Blenders anymore (inferior ingredients, even compared to Jamba), but as I was sitting outside this location today, waiting for my friend shopping in the boutique next door, I witnessed two employees yelling at each other and arguing in front of customers. A male employee was carrying on about how many hours he worked compared to another employee very loudly. I know people have bad days, but the way these two were carrying on was, to me, really unprofessional and just kind of sad. If I was that customer, I would have walked out, just not wanting to deal with the tension. I was uncomfortable and I wasn't even in the shop. There were 15 people bunched into the shop at one point and social distancing was not enforced. A recommendation here would be to ask customers to wait outside but many were loitering. Second- the power greens drink tasted awful - too sweet. It was my first time visiting this location, so I thought the staff would be nice to fix the drink but they said I had to get back in line and order a new drink. I went to blenders and ordered 2 drinks. One was a blue pomegranate and it was made short even after using the spatula to pour any excess smoothie into the cup. My cousin has talked about Blenders for awhile now and how much he likes it, so I finally stopped by tonight to try it out. The peanut butter smoothie I ordered had the perfect consistency and the flavor was really good. I chose a pretty unhealthy option but it seemed like they had a lot of great natural juices and other healthier options. The prices here are actually pretty great too.
