I know that it's a hot day and that they get busy, but that doesn't excuse not marking drinks to let a customer know which one is sugar free and which one isn't when they first make it. They had to sit there trying to figure it out, insisting they thought mine was absolutely the sugar free one, which the drinks were half melted from sitting there and the sugar free one tastes so chemically that it's almost hard to drink it. Tried DB for the first time while trying to catch a rocket launch in Lompoc. I wasn't very impressed. The Kicker tasted pretty weak and lacked a lot of that coffee flavored goodness. Maybe it needed an extra shot or two, but geez it wasn't the morning pick me up I needed. Friendly workers and nice establishment with a double lane drive thru. read more

I really like Dutch Bros! This Lompoc location is great. They have really extensive hours and their staff are so friendly. I can usually get through the drive-thru line pretty quick, even when they are extra busy. They have tons of special drink options, but the standard latte is great. I never get a burnt coffee taste. Wanted to give a shout out to David & Shacara! I've been to Dutch Bros, Lompoc, CA, 2 days back-to-back & these two were working hard both days & my drinks were made to perfection. The reason I wanted to recognize these 2 employees is because on the first day I literally waited for my online order for 40 min. between the window & drive through (both lines were very long), as I got out of line at the window & went to the drive thru as it had started to move faster. There were only 3 employees working during the lunch hours. I witnessed these 2 work with a smile, be extremely polite to every customer, resolve complaints & still be fast, efficient & get drinks out pretty quickly. I was very impressed for sure. These 2 employees are a true asset to this establishment & definitely deserve a raise!! I opted for their lemonade cuz I had coffee at breakfast and it was good as well.. the servers were really nice and helpful. However the ambiance was super loud I could barely hear my self talking nor could I hear the staff when they were asking me questions. Alright, one of the kids and the Wifey said I had to try the "new" coffee joint in town. I took the bait and went with Wifey. This part of town has had its urban decline challenges of late, but this new Dutch Brothers has already encouraged a bit of economic growth. It appears the old 7/11 next door is being repaired/reopened (Unknown as to what yet) and a new grocery store is going in across the street. Back to Dutch Brothers. The staff is very friendly and prompt. I was greeted by staff (outside and on-foot) in the driveway, my order & payment was taken and drove up to the window. More friendly staff talked with Wifey and I until our drinks were made and those drinks were on-point. We went another time and guess what, so far they're consistent.
