Most of the coffee places in Buellton close early. I was driving through at about 3:30 PM, and this cute little drive-through coffee cabin was still open. They had run out of food except for bagels and one banana nut muffin, but their coffee drinks were excellent. My hubby got a hot chocolate, and I got a Mexican mocha. The added orange zest was a nice touch. Prices were reasonable and service was friendly and quick. I was able to drive on, happily caffeinated. read more

Such a cute, great service, and fun options of drinks/food. They have a drive thru or a walk up to the window! Open 6- 5pm which is amazing because most coffee shops close at 2 or 3pm! They have two types of chai tea lattes vanilla and spice. They recommended was half and half which was a great call!! Can't wait to come back!! read more

This is my go to spot when in town, running errands or heading to Santa Barbara. I always make it a point to stop. Been going for many years now, and love they are open late while many other coffee shops are closed. I avoid Starbucks and big corporate coffee places, always try and support local. Staff and coffees are always on point and have yet to find a coffee place to match my go to order. Would like a variety of pastries from Sweet street Warehouse they are based out of Orcutt but sell at the local theater. They have almond croissant, mall cookies, morning muffin yum! Decided to drive thru this place after having Firestone Brewing co! Had a nice vanilla latte a bit on the sweeter side but was a very special treat to have early in the afternoon just before closing. GETTING HERE: I have passed by this unassuming "cabin" so many times when in the area. If you don't know what you're looking for, you might miss it. REVIEW: This is a cute little drive-thru where you can order your drink. Over the years I have seen little coffee places such as this. So glad to see that made it through shutdown. I was on my way to Santa Ynez and I needed something sweet or sour to keep me plugging along. I ordered a lemonade from Janeen's this visit. It was OK. I am not a coffee drinker so this was a safe bet, all while supporting a small business. The place that starts with the S and ends with bucks? No thanks. Not when we have Janeen's. Service was OK too. It was a hot day, so it was so refreshing for me. (I hope the young employee wasn't melting too much inside). I cannot honestly tell you just how many times I have driven past this coffee "cabin" (more like a drive-thru shack) off the side of the road in Buellton. It reminds me a lot of the coffee shacks scattered around Seattle. I have always wanted to stop but never made it happen. Today while heading home from the valley back to Goleta it was already 4:00 PM and all the coffee shops were closed except for Starbucks. This was the perfect opportunity to support a small business like Janeen's! The gal who was at the window was very friendly. She also knew all the possible syrup flavors down pat and by memory. While they don't have oat milk, they do have almond and soy milks besides the expected dairy options. My iced hazelnut oat milk latte was delicious with a boost of much needed espresso. Through to the other side of the cabin I heard a customer order a rice krispy. I too had to oblige and request one. The employee told me they're homemade by the owner and come in a bag of mini sizes to share. Heck, by the time I reached my Goleta freeway exit--alone--all those little nibbles were gone, along with my latte. PS: I also appreciated that they have a unisex bathroom for customers on site. I'll definitely come back here for my next caffeine fill. read more

My absolute favorite from there is a Mexican chocolate iced coffee it's the yummiest treat EVER! They make the best and always smile! The breakfast burritos, bagels, scones(the best)! The owner I believe, Jen, helped me through two of the hardest days of my life back in 2019&2020. She's an angel. 2020 I came through to get my fav coffee& a pup cup and big milkbone for my 15 yr old pup that day 04/28/20 was the day I had to help her get her angel wings, I will forever be grateful to Jen and her staff. Such a convenient coffee place! Easy to drive up on either side and they bring orders up pretty quick! Their prices are definitely competitive and their coffee never tastes burnt. Whenever I work in the SYV area, I'm always looking forward for the opportunity to stop by here. The service is always friendly, prices are reasonable. The Mexican mocha is unmatched. I've tried this beverage at other cafes, but they always fall short by comparison to the one here. The orange zest really pulls the whole drink together. The Yerbalicious is amazing as well. Both hot and iced options are delicious and unique. I haven't found a beverage similar to it at any other cafe. It's so convenient to hop in the drive through and receive quick service. I cannot recommend this coffee shop enough!! It's definitely worth checking out. read more

We happened to find this in Yelp and the breakfast was really wholesome. This place is right out of 50's diner. The only thing missing is the jukebox on the table. Very traditional old time menu and decor. Good food and great service. What more do you want! read more

Coffee is great! Its a shame how 1 staff member can change my experience here. This young lady should get talked to about her customer service approach, seems she's not happy to be at work and I feel she always makes me wait longer for no apparent reason. I witnessed today same behavior with the customer on the other side. I was in line today for 15 min and when I got to the window no hello ill be right with you or sorry about the wait. I don't mind waiting but when that wait comes with zero acknowledgement then I find it a problem...I've also noticed when this one person isn't there the other baristas are very nice but again today they're was 2 and no one bothered to say anything. As a manager that works with customers I feel this feedback can be somewhat helpful. In the mean time Ill be going across the street even though I love to support small business. I love coffee! When we were driving to San Simeon this past weekend, we needed a bathroom break so we decided to also make it a coffee break. We found this spot on the map and immediately came here to read the reviews. We were convinced this was a good spot to try. We arrived a little past 7am, about 7:10-7:15. After reading the reviews, we were expecting a friendly worker at the window. She might've been having a tough morning because we weren't even greeted. She asked what we wanted to order. I told her and also asked for a pastry. She said they were out and said it was too early for those. She said the delivery truck would come later. She took our drink order and walked away from the window. I had to sort of pop my head through the window to then ask her for the bathroom key. She handed it to me without saying anything. I returned and handed her the key and again she just grabbed it and didn't say anything. My husband paid and we walked away. It wasn't a horrible experience, but it also most definitely wasn't a pleasant one. It felt as if the worker was bothered we were there so early. The coffee was decent. The place is cute, has a drive thru window, and a bathroom for customers. Overall, if ever around the area again, we wouldn't come here again. read more

Stopped by to get a drink but had to wait several minutes to allow the staff to curse and rage about another employee they all hate. I understand they are young but come on!! I've had to deal with the same thing plenty! These girls are not interested in being professional and the coffee is INCONSISTENT!! Someone needs to retrain this staff on excellent customer service!! I miss the old fun staff who cared about the customer experience. This is probably why they lost the BEST OF this year. Long time customer OUT! Good coffee and service!! NOT weak! We ordered a blended mocha, an iced latte with an added shot and an almond milk meximocha iced. All three were very good. Coffee was strong and tasty. If you think Starbucks is "strong," this isn't the place to get coffee, no shade meant to you. But it Starbucks is weak to you, this is the place to go! The blended coffee is definitely the weaker of the coffee drinks but still has a double or triple shot option and add even more if needed. read more

It is so hard to find a place that has good coffee and good customer service ! They had a long line but the wait time went by pretty fast! This morning, 2-10-2024 I was here at 7 am when the server showed up, she came to the window and told me she was not open. And suggested that I leave. I said it is now past 7 and she closed the window on me. I let her know low I would call the owner and she said fine. As I looked up the number I could see she did not do anything accept get the register ready. She told me she just spoke with the owner and I let her know I could see she had not spoken with anyone and that is not honest. I realize one bad employee does not deserve my 5 star to go to 0.
