This store is really clean and the staff seem friendly. I was really craving a chai blended drink and some sort of brownie or baked good. So I ordered a 12oz chai. I have had one before at the Victoria Ave location and loved it. However, this one was really disappointing. I assume it's not owned by a different owner but I am not certain. This drink did not taste like chai. It tasted like a red hot cinnamon drink. Spiced Chai and Ceylon cinnamon are not the same. To me this tasted like they just dumped a Toriani Cinnamon syrup in the drink and called it a chai. The strawberry creme muffin was delicious. I love that the baked goods are from Siblings Bakery. I'm a huge fan of Blenders so when I was out in the Oxnard area for work I was thrilled to see a location here. I made sure I stopped and got my usual piña colada. Usually I would order my drinks online but since the line wasn't too long I decided to go and wait in line. The online process is great since I'm impatient and don't like waiting. Parking can be a little bit dicey here but there are a lot of spots but during the lunch rush it can be, tough to find a spot and I got lucky to be able to find one. There are a lot of people that were waiting around for the drinks because of how busy it was but I didn't wait that much longer. They have the menus on the walls and you're able to get an extra boost if you need to. The process was very painless and very efficient. PB&J! What Can I Say? Blenders is my go too smoothie place. I used to swear by Jamba Juice but then I discovered Blenders. My favorite smoothie for sure is the PB&J and their baked goods are pretty tasty too! Smoothies as an industry have become overpriced, thus why I can't leave a 5 star reviews. $7 for a 20 Oz smoothie just feels bad, but the flavors are there. They don't take phone orders, only online orders but their online system is pretty seamless. Inside of the store is clean and usually not overly crowded, busy, or filled with annoying music. I honestly wanted to give a good review because it's 8:30 & the two guys working at this location were great, quick & kind. The tropical guava smoothie I got was great. So i would give all that a 5 star rating. What I would give a 1 star rating is the disgusting odor. It smells like rotten feet and I almost didn't even order because of it. The night staff is very friendly. They were able to take down my full order (5drinks) and even with the extra amount gave us the rest of the remaining in a seperate cup (6). They made sure to get our order right and repeated each drink and labeled to let us know which one is which. I'm alittle sad as though they changed the cup, it's now a plain white styrofoam cup vs the original with the blender logo and fruit and veggie on it. No biggie!! Blender's is one of my favorite juice places, I tried the Pitaya bowl today, it was average, I had better. That is , my opinion . I love the drinks though are the best especially the one that tastes like butterfinger and it is healthy. They practiced covid 19 safety. I've visited 2x so far and I consistently receive great service even when they are busy. I usually avoid all the smoothie style drinks and go right for THE BEST in the house: 24oz of FRESH JUICE!! And I have them blend in ALL the ingredients they offer: orange, apple, lemon, tomato, carrot, ginger, parsley, celery, garlic, cucumber, spinach & kale. Of course, you can choose any combination but I believe our bodies need all the colors of the fruits & vegetables rainbow. There's nothing else like it. Plus it's an excellent way to DETOX your body. I also like adding in the free supplement like chia seeds. I especially like their REWARDS program using their Blenders Card. I bought a card & loaded $30 on it, and I got an EXTRA 10% on the spot! I come here quite often on the days I go to work, everyone is always friendly, and I adore the power greens smoothie! A lot of their drinks go from fruity to creamy to juicy, and while I'm not a fan of juicy. I'm a hardcore fan of the creamy ones and their acai or pirates bowls. However the one thing I don't like, but I don't even like this thing at Jamba Juice either is the wheatgrass shot. One of those... always here but never tried making a review for the heck of it. I'm choosing to put a review because every visit here has been nothing but great. One day in particular, I received service out of their way & asked for my order while the cashier was busy with the order in front of me. I wished I grabbed the name of the girl who instantly went up to me, grabbed my order, & made my drinks before I paid (I waited not too long after for my drinks). You do not see that kind of gesture just anywhere. The fact that she was sweet enough to ask in advance made my "15 min only" parking up front, fast. I witnessed a customer unsatisfied with how they blend her drink so she was VERY specific with how to add more water & servings of açaí. She actually asked to see the blender & poured her own water in their blender. Seriously?! But as for their customer service, I give the gentleman props for doing what the customer asked for without hesitation. I just felt bad for the workers because this customer wanted more than what was on the menu. Basically made her own blenders. As for blenders itself, I choose blenders over any local juice/smoothie location than anywhere (in Ventura County specifically). I choose the quality of their nutritious drinks & when they ask to add a supplement, do it! It's free! I go for either the energy or additional protein when I'm out of some, especially after/during a long day at work. Did you know they also have a "secret menu?"
