I've left a review before about how the workers must not be able to read because they constantly miss the details when adding things to an item. The owner reached out to me and tried to make it right with me, which was a nice gesture. Since then I tried ordering from them every now and then, maybe about 8 or so times. 7 of those times they have still gotten it wrong. Unless they're hiring blind people, there's no reason why my order gets messed up so many times. If their illiterate employees aren't going to put in the add ons, why have them as an option? All locations in Ventura have employees that do not possess the ability to read. If you want a much better smoothie, açaí bowl, etc just go to BB Acai over by the snapper jacks near the college. read more

I LOVE this Blenders. It's right next to my house and convenient to other stores I visit. Came by on Father's Day morning before a long road trip. I had a pretty custom order and Brandon went above and beyond to help me out, which is not something you typically see with younger employees these days. My go-to order is a 24oz mocha with milk alternative, add peanut butter, flax seed and immune support. It's absolutely delicious and keeps me full all day! Made the mistake of going to Robek's for their similar version of this and it was not satisfying and wayyy more expensive! Blenders is my favorite smoothie spot hands down! Always good smoothies. They are very consistent which is nice because some other places you don't know what you will get each time you walk in depending on the smoothie maker. I have some favorites like the peanut butter chocolate and the 50/50. My favorite is the Power Greens for sure. There's no bathroom and the parking is terrible but that's not their fault. The servers are hit and Miss some are friendly. Some are not. But they're never rude or mean. It's not a place to hang out. It just a pick up your order and go kind of place which is perfect for a smoothie shop if you ask me. read more

Was in the area & got smoothies on a Sunday morning. Not super busy whatsoever and service was pretty good. They had a good amount of options on their menu from juices to açaí bowls. You could also add one supplement to your drink for free which was cool, though I opted out. The place was clean & they also provided reusable tumblers you can purchase to bring on your next visit for a discounted drink! Only small downside were the sizes of the cups of the smoothies. I wish they had a medium size -- the 12 oz was pretty small & the 24 oz was too big in my opinion. Other than that, the workers were nice & it was a pretty solid smoothie stop! read more

Quick update since it's been 2 years since my 1st review here. Same great service! Same great smoothies! Great prices! Much more reasonable than their competitors (Jamba, Robeks, Nekter, etc.). My bf and I visited on a late Saturday morning in May 2021. The shop was busy with about 3 others waiting in front of us but it went quick. We ordered our usual Green Machine and Acai Energy and had them in about 5 minutes. They were delicious, lite and refreshing. The store was clean and organized. Good smoothie options, they have a lot of different supplements you can add. The lines can get pretty long but I'd say it's worth the wait.

I have been hit and miss with other Blenders over the years. It's as retail as they come, and I have trouble sometimes reviewing retail/food establishments because there is so much turnover. I am thankful this experience was pleasant enough. I was with some friends and we decided this would be our spot to say good-bye. Sadly with this Corona life now - Blenders was PACKED. I mean, beyond packed. Which is good for them, of course. But it was a long wait. They were severely short staffed in making the drinks. When I finally reached the register I asked the young girl what she recommended as I really like sour/lemon-lime flavored things. She recommended the Cranberry with added lemon. IT WAS EXCELLENT. I can't believe I have never tried that combo until a few weeks ago. If you are a fan of sour things I highly recommend this drink. I hope you enjoy it! Thanks Blenders for the good experience. Definitely can argue that this will be the best smoothie you will have in Ventura, but typically it comes with a pretty long wait. Staff are friendly,but just don't seem to care, which I don't expect more from a smoothie place. This is my third location to visit and still amazing! I have gone to the Santa Barbara location and got the mango smoothie with pollens bee and it was so fresh and good. There is usually a line but so worth the wait! I went to Oxnard and it's by the water and it was good and good seating and walking area. Mango smoothie is my favorite. Stopped in with my husband because he wanted one of their acai drinks. I hadn't been to a Blenders in the Grass before, but was up to giving them a try. The first thing I noticed when I walked in was the smell - it smelled to me like they'd just blended up a big vat of kale and poured in some fish oil. Fresh smell but... very unpleasant. I wanted to leave right away and wondered if this was an indicator for what I was getting into. I stuck with it and the smell grew more tolerable as I ordered and waited a short time for my berry/fruit smoothie. The drink I got was tasty, but I was surprised by the number of icy chunks of fruit not blended small enough to fit in my straw. It was only a few but more than one. Eating them individually allowed me to taste the frozen pineapple in my drink and taste that it had almost no flavor in and of itself. Employees I met were polite and professional. The store was clean and well lit. Negative stars for icy chunks too big for straw and horrible smell that will discourage me from returning. Fine product but I don't see myself choosing to come back here unless someone else I'm with wants to. read more

I went up to the counter and the employee told me my name would eventually be called, I waited until 2:15 or so to ask again and ended up asking another 3 times and got the same response before someone realized my smoothies were not being made after about 30-45 more minutes. After that, a quick apology was made and My smoothies were given to me. 10/11/22 Update: After a conversation with the owner, a sincere apology and reparation was made. This location isn't as good as the others I've been to, they don't fill up the bowls as much or add as many toppings. At other locations usually the bowl is filled to the stop, with just enough room to add the lid. The customer service was okay here, the employees were nice but not very attentive read more
