This place was a great find. Whenever I travel, I typically don't eat the best because I am on the go and I just want to try all these new foods. I was in Ventura for the X Games and knew it was going to be a long day. So I looked around for something healthy to start my day and came across Juiceswell. It is located a short walk from Peirpoint Bay. You can tell Juiceswell takes eating healthy seriously. The shop itself is very clean and inviting. They have a number of salads, açai bowls, juices and sandwiches that are all made in-house. The menu items here are made for people on-the-go so you can enjoy a healthy meal or snack while walking on the beach or driving in your car. Wanted a healthy treat and found this place on maps! I went on a Monday and the juice options were rather low (everything pictured) but the worker let me know it's because their juicing days are on Tuesdays and Fridays so it's usually best to come either day after! If you return any of the bottles from the juice section as well you get $2 off your next purchase which I thought was a great way to limit waste! Juices are a bit more on the pricey side but feel like that's normal for more health conscious products nowadays. I don't often write reviews however I love juice swell so much. Their juices are delicious. Their smoothies are delicious and I just tried one of their Panini's for the first time and it may have been one of the best sandwiches I've ever had in my life, the new Italian sandwich was so fresh and had such unbelievable flavor Plus the Panini was perfect perfectly toasted and the bread was unbelievable. Juicewell is located only a small stroll from the beach on Seaward. Parking is very limited so I would suggest going on the week days instead of the weekends as you could have issues with finding parking. Ambiance is very beachy. Inside is extremely clean! The service was good. The lady in front was nice. The açaí bowl did not disappoint. As mentioned in previous reviews, it is the BEST açaí bowl in Ventura! I got a 12oz Açaí bowl comes with granola. For my 3 toppings, I got strawberries, banana, & almond butter. They are very generous with the almond butter! It was a thick layer between the açaí & granola. The almond butter alone is worth the price! Usually I have issues with the açaí melting before I could finish the bowl but I didn't this time. The portion is perfect. Definitely my new spot for açaí bowls in Ventura. Also, it is dog friendly which is a must when living in Ventura. We were just walking in Ventura and saw a sign that caught our eye. When we walked in the vibes on this place were fantastic! They have a bunch of cute things to purchase from fresh pressed juice to salads to merch. They had a great variety on their menu of different food items (including some gluten free). I got an iced matcha unsweetened which she said they could do and it was really good! My boyfriend got the drip coffee and he thought it was very fresh and delicious! As a Pierpont resident, I was excited to see this place come together. I love the ambiance and the airy feel; especially sitting at their bar which faces open windows so you can see out. I love that they have so many creative, healthy and vegan options but it does come with the health nut price tag (our bodies are an investment after all). I just discovered Sun Oven doughnuts here and trust me, they are outrageously good (vegan and gluten free). Aside from food and drinks, they also sell art and jewelry which is pretty cool (but pricey). The only thing that makes me not visit so often is I notice a clique-ish vibe when I'm here. Regulars and friends of the employees get treated differently and I feel like I'm in the way. Please be cognizant of how you make guests feel :) Overall, this is a great addition to the Ventura community / beach area. Juiceswell is my absolute favorite place in town for açaí bowls. I've tried almost all other places in town and they are by far the best here. All the food here is locally sourced and you can taste the difference! The bowls are pricey, but comparatively, they're worth it. You get a good sized serving and the acai doesn't melt quickly like a lot of other places I've been to. I've also tried multiple sandwiches and all the ingredients taste insanely fresh. I went in-person to confirm the smoothie cost and request for a receipt (after I noticed the increased charge on my credit card statement). Spoke w Carly who stated they have no way of getting me a copy of a receipt but would call card company in the afternoon and give me a call. I got no phone call. I did get some condescending attitude when politely asking for support. I'll find a new place with hopefully a worker w a better vibe. My sole criticism is that I really wish they'd go back to the compostable containers. I'd go more often if they didn't use plastic containers. I get the natural containers are a bit more expensive than plastic, but plastic is so incredibly wasteful and unhealthy. I went with my bestfriends on Thursday afternoon for lunch time. The customer service was great she was a sweetheart but we got very sick from the food, one of my friends got the avacado toast and on our way back home she threw up and felt extremely nauseous, later that evening I started feeling a little sick from my stomach and I woke up the next day around 4am very nauseous with a horrible persistent stomach pain & still feel pretty sick.. A much needed new addition to Seaward. The space is beautiful: lots of light, an amazing mural that complements its beach setting, and some cute tables and chairs outside. Their menu offers all kinds of fresh juices and about 4-5 types of smoothies: we tried the Jettyjuice and Maca Power. Unlike some places, these are very healthy and don't have frozen yogurt or extra sugar in them. They are a little pricey, though at $8/9 for a small. We didn't try the food, but it looked super fresh and interesting. (soups, salads, wraps, bowls) They have an avocado toast that looked amazing and that I will return to try. You can come in to pick up a prepared, ready-to-go salad or juice or order something fresh from the kitchen. read more

I never write bad reviews but the sandwich I got this morning was so bad I couldn't eat it. I ordered a GF bacon egg & cheese breakfast sandwich, which cost almost $17. The GF bread wasn't fully baked, so it was like gummy dough in the middle. The sandwich wasn't hot, bc it obviously wasn't cooked recently. The "egg" was like a premade omelette patty sort of? Like what you would expect to find on a gas station sandwich. $17 and they couldn't even fry up a couple of real eggs. I'm not very picky but that sandwich was disgusting. I would have tried to get a refund but it took 25 minutes for them to bring out my food so I was already late at that point. I will never go back to this restaurant. read more

Super clean, cute, bright atmosphere with lots of local vendors on their shelves (Blue Ridge Honey for one!). We tried the Jetty Juice (lime, watermelon, strawberry smoothie) which was great, and the baked gluten free vegan doughnuts were good, not heavy or too sweet. If you buy fresh squeezed bottled juice and return the glass bottle you get two dollars off next time! Thought the prices were fair for local fresh quality and loved that they have some yummy snack options like steel cut oats, avo toast and to-go chia pudding.
